Satan stared at the river while standing still on the river bank like a magnificent statue. She was alone, staring at her own reflection, the face that God gave her, the face that God revealed that her face was the face of billions of women. Her face was the origin, the first ever face with beauty as its only purpose.
"Such an unnecessary detail..." Satan muttered, gently caressing her flawless pale cheek until slowly her fingers traced over her sharp jawline and chin. "But that's who He is, loving to see everything in such omnipotence detail..." She tilted her head to the side, feeling her high cheekbones and long perfect nose.
Satan was so focused on understanding why her face looked so special to humans and other beings. All the demons envied her beauty, humans worshiped her beauty, and angels couldn't stop staring at her back when she was still in God's kingdom.
