Chapter 87 - Chapter 87 - Cards of Blasphemy

Inside Dumbledore's Office where many portraits and trinkets moved giving it a lively atmosphere. Felix smiled awkwardly at the old wizard before him as he held a small box that contained 22 cards locked inside. The old wizard simply sat there staring at him with no cheerful expression, but wasn't angry either.

"Do you care to explain?" Albus Dumbledore asked in a soft voice with an edge.

"Haha, oops." Felix rubbed the back of his head.

Dumbledore just stared at his professor with an unamused look. So Felix stopped laughing as he decided to begin his tale that led to this point.

--

A few days later after finishing the Sacred Drum, Felix alongside John decided to use it. So as they stood inside the workshop, Felix held the drum and tapped it. A nice almost sacred drum beat echoed as a pulse of magic spread through the room and beyond as it spread throughout the entire castle.

The pulse extended beyond the castle and reached the outer edges of the Forbidden Forest. Which naturally because Felix used the drum without much restraint, but also not at his full power. John when he tried just filled the room, confusing him, but guessed it was due to the drum nature as the drum could only display its full effect in Felix's hands.

However, thanks to Felix who basically filled the castle with sacred power. Many of the dark creatures and ghosts were affected and let out howls of pain. After a round up, it was estimated that quite a few ghosts passed on thanks to that.

So after learning that, Felix locked away the drum into his suitcase alongside his other trinkets and tools he made when the students and professors were looking for the cause. The uproar of its usage was a bit unexpected.

Reflecting upon that for barely a tenth of a second, Felix began looking for the next project to work on. While peeking at the path's, he came across a set of tarot cards that made him curious since it was ranked among the more advanced things.

So, upon copying what he needed, he began to prepare to make the Card of Blasphemy. Which wasn't actually all that complicated and within a day or so, he made a few of them. It wasn't until he finished them did the event happen that got him called to the office.

Upon finishing the cards, various eyes from monsters of eldritch horrors descended on the castle. Various students, ghosts and even a couple professors were driven insane at the mere moment they appeared and vanished.

Hence, after the incident, he created a box and locked away the cards into his suitcase. He even added a couple more stickers to the outer to add a few more layers of protections to it.

--

Upon hearing the explanation, Dumbledore just leaned back into his chair. His face didn't show his emotions but it was clear his mind wasn't as calm. His mouth moved but quickly shut before a sound appeared.

After a few minutes, Dumbledore finally collected himself and said something to break the silent office.

"Be careful in the future or I will have to let you go." Dumbledore said. "This is a school of young wizards after all."

"Ok." Felix stood up.

Then he hurried out of the office.

--

"Felix, what did you do?"

At the bottom of the steps leading to Dumbledore Office. Angel stood there with her arms cross staring at him. Her anger seemed to be more of an act alongside a dish of helplessness. This is mainly due to her long being used to such events like this.

"Just made cards connected to eldritch beings." Felix replied. "Nothing too insane."

"You don't mean those eldritch beings I am thinking of right." Angel looked stunned.

Felix shuffled a bit as he looked away like a kid who was caught red handed. He felt more embarrassed about this incident when questioned by Angel than Dumbledore. While she might not have Dumbledore power or skill, she was a bit more frightening then the old wizards in his opinion.

"Felix!" Angel growled loudly. "Are you insane? Scratch that, they say genius and madness are two sides of the same coin. Clearly you are diving into madness."

"It was just curiosity." Felix weakly defended.

Due to Angel's loud voice, a few students began to watch and gather. So, Angel, who didn't want to make a scene, simply said a single sentence and walked away.

"This conversation isn't over."

After that, a Ravenclaw student came over. "Professor, is everything ok?"

"Hmm, yeah. Not the first time this happened and not the last." Felix waved his hand unconcerned. "Now, I am hungry, let's go get something to eat."

"Umm, professor, you are going the wrong way." The student pointed out.
