Chapter 315 - Strategizing Over a Game of Pool

Darren broke first, the crack of the cue ball echoing sharply, sending stripes and solids scattering with precision. Two solids pocketed immediately.

'I usually wouldn't need anyone's help. I'm better planning on my own, I think,' Darren thought, the familiarity grounding him amid the turmoil.

'But I need their heads on this. Cheyenne especially. If this is what I think this is, she's got the business chops to see angles I might miss.*

Olivia picked up a cue next, her lean form bending over the table. Darren furrowed his brows, noticing her positioning.

She'd played this before. And not just 'sometimes' as she claimed.

Olivia lined up a shot on a stripe, breasts pressing against the table's edge, hips swaying slightly, and then she sank it cleanly.

"Not bad," Darren remarked with a grin, impressed. "Didn't peg you for a pool shark."

She straightened, smirking. "Grew up with a table in the basement."
