The carriage stopped in front of the manor. The carriage driver hastily got down to open the door for Angelica. For the third time in a row, she had asked him to take her to her parents' manor. He was unsure of if this was a good thing or not.
He did not want trouble with the new crown princess. On the other hand, he also did not want to be known as her personal carriage driver. Why she asked for him to drive her specifically was beyond him. He simply wanted to do his duty and not get into any trouble.
He did not like how he was being called to take her to the same place daily. If he was asked, he would advise her that it was not wise of her to be going to visit her parents every single day, but it was none of his business.
Angelica helped herself down, she turned to him and said, "Please be here before dinner time.".
"Yes, your highness," the carriage driver nodded.
