Angelica watched her mother dance with Edward. At the moment, she and her father had the same unpleasant expression on their face. It was clear to see that they truly were related to one another.
She never liked Edward, he talked to much and he made her uncomfortable. The last time they met he did not leave her alone, and now it was evident he was doing the same with her mother.
Why exactly did he pull her away to dance? Angelica rarely agreed with her father, but this time she did. She definitely was in support of whatever her father would do to him as soon as the dance ended.
She frowned, she could see him talking and her mother laughing. She wondered what they were talking about. Knowing Edward as little as she did... he was probably blabbing and her mother was always too nice to indulge people.
Ian noticed Angelica's stern frown, it was different from the usual cold look she always had. He looked ahead and saw Edward dancing with his mother-in-law.
