Millis began to pull a few strings together, specifically, people with her amazing charm. While this was happening, Lillian was outwardly groaning.
Why were people so inclined to come up to her?
Marionette, having just shooed off another noble with a cold glare, looked towards Lillian, who was smiling wryly at what happened.
Lillian soon turned to Marionette, her smile instantly fixing itself at the sight of her girlfriend, "I think it's best we get something to eat before everything runs out."
The Assassin hummed a bit. With a few glances around at the food, the hall, and the still unoccupied tables, Marionette soon gave a nod.
"Good idea."
Chuckling for a moment, the Rabbit moved first - but was soon pulled back. Lillian turned around and looked down, watching as Marionette's slender arm wrapped around hers.
Lillian then looked away a bit, her cheeks growing slightly pinkish. She then reciprocated the intimacy by leaning against the Assassin's side a bit.
