Chapter 81 - Dealing With The Bombs

Entering Flash Time, Barry starts running around the hangar, trying to find a place to put all the gas bombs together so he can get rid of them all at once.

He cannot just run away with all these gas bombs and drop them in some ocean, because it would take multiple trips, and there are a lot of them here.

Instead, he plans to put them all together in one place and blow it up before dispersing it thin by creating a massive tornado, just like he did with the gas bombs shot from the cannons.

And then he finds it. A warehouse filled with more bombs. Barry runs in and finds a woman working on something. Barry recognises her. She is the woman Steve was talking to, Dr. Poison.

'Let's get her first,' Barry thinks, and walks up to the woman. He grabs a handcuff from the table and cuffs her hand before running her back to the group of ragtags who can look after her.

Barry then starts running around again, approaching a soldier and taking the bomb from their hands, and running it back to the warehouse. The most he can carry with him is two bomb shells. But with his speed, it really doesn't take long.

Barry runs around the hangar so fast and in a constrained area that he conjures a lightning storm, scaring the hell out of the German soldiers

Even Steve and his ragtag friends watch in awe as Barry conjures a lightning storm. It's like someone has set the whole hangar on firework.

Barry doesn't leave a single bomb behind and stuffs the warehouse with them, before throwing a bolt of lightning at one of the containers to ignite it and start a chain reaction of explosions.

Barry runs out and begins running around the warehouse. He breaks the sound barrier, dragging the air with his body, making it move, and conjuring a massive category five tornado.

With wind speeds hitting over five hundred miles per hour, it acts as the perfect blockage as the warehouse explodes into a massive ball of fire, debris made of metal and rocks, and liters of mustard gas.

The gas gets sucked up by the massive tornado, spreading it extremely thin as the tornado reaches high up in the sky.

Barry then hits a different level. He starts grabbing soldiers and runs them out of the hangar one by one at closer to the speed of light, so that they don't get sucked into the vicious tornado he just created.

Steve and his friends watch in horror as they feel the wind kick off crazily. They are far enough to be safe, but they can still feel the violent power of this tornado.

They can't believe someone can actually have the ability to bend nature to their will like this.

Barry suddenly appears before them once again, scaring the group again.

"I think you guys should get out of here. That tornado won't dissipate for a while, and when it does, the gas should be spread thin enough not to cause much harm," Barry says.

"You are incredible, Mr. Allen," Sameer says, saluting Barry.

"What about Diana?" Steve asks.

Just then, they all hear a loud boom and a powerful war cry that shakes the soul inside their body.

The winds that were already chaotic started getting more violent, making it hard for the group to even open their eyes.

They all turn towards the direction of the loud boom and see a man floating in the air, staring down at Diana.

"Is that who I think it is?" Steve asks.

These past few days have been life-changing for him, as his worldview has completely shifted. Gods, demigods, an island full of women, and people with superpowers. What else does the future hold for him?

"I believe so. You guys should leave now. It's going to get very dangerous," Barry says, and disappears from their eyes once again, and the very next moment, he is standing next to Diana.

Diana turns her head and sees Barry. She is glad to see him; having someone like Barry by her side would be of great help when fighting someone like Ares.

Barry looks at Ares and finds him very ordinary. In Barry's head, Ares was someone with a massive muscular frame with a rough, rugged look. But the man before him looks like an average Joe.

He especially looks comical to Barry with that sissy mustache he has over his lips.

"Ah, a champion of the Speed Force. You have a great ally beside you, Diana, but he won't be enough to save you from me. I will end you today," the man says with fiery eyes.

"You know, I thought the god of war would look big and scary. Is he really Ares? He looks goofy as hell," Barry says to Diana.

Diana looks at Barry and finds his comment about Ares funny, but she keeps a straight face.

"How dare you mock me, mortal? I will have your head!" Ares threatens, pointing his finger at Barry, raging with fury.
