Chapter 310 - CH: 308 The Arrival of the Mothership

{Chapter: 308 The Arrival of the Mothership}

Skies Over Manhattan – The Clash of Titans

Volcanicus let loose a bone-rattling roar, his mouth a furnace of hellfire as he launched into the sky like a comet of burning metal. His massive form streaked through the smoke-blackened sky, engines formed on his body and blazed with intense power, eyes glowing like twin supernovas.

Opposite him, the colossal dragon-shaped warship twisted in the sky—its armor forged from ancient alien alloys, its serpentine body crackling with energy. It unfurled its wings, each longer than a skyscraper, and surged forward like an apocalypse unbound.

BOOOOOOM!!!

The two titans collided mid-air with the force of gods waging war. For a single breathless instant, time seemed to shatter. Thunder cracked across the sky like divine whips, while shockwaves exploded outward in all directions. The air ignited, buildings quaked—and then the world screamed.

The impact's raw power tore through the city like a blade through flesh.

Concrete buckled. Entire city blocks disintegrated into flaming debris. Roads cracked like eggshells, and a shockwave surged through the ground with such intensity it carved a canyon-wide rupture into the Earth. Skyscrapers imploded. Windows exploded outward in synchronized death cries.

The Hammer Industrial Building, once shielded by one of the strongest kinetic energy barriers ever designed, now flickered with warning sigils. The barrier cracked...then burst apart with a shriek of light and sound. Debris ripped through the air like shrapnel from a nuclear detonation.

Top Floor – Hammer Industrial Building

The structure groaned under the cataclysm. White Queen stood among the chaos, arms still crossed, a faint smirk playing at the corner of her lips despite the doom swirling outside.

"Well... I suppose you're all about to be very, very free," she said dryly, her eyes never leaving the glowing screen. "Assuming you survive the next five seconds."

"What the hell is going on!?" Maria Hill shouted as the room quaked.

"Answer: We're getting evicted—by gravity."

The building snapped in half like a breadstick. With a deafening crack, the top floors broke free and plummeted. Screams filled the air as gravity claimed the upper half of the tower, slamming it to the Earth in a titanic collapse of steel, glass, and bone.

The Battlefield – Ground Zero

Volcanicus and the dragon warship crashed to the ground like fallen gods, sending tremors that shattered sewer lines and threw cars like toys. Rubble rained down from the heavens. Fire erupted in the crater left by their impact.

Volcanicus stirred first.

"DESTROY!!!" he roared, clawing his way to his feet like a beast rising from the underworld.

His body convulsed—and then came the sound. A grinding, unholy cacophony of shifting steel and tortured hydraulics. Pistons hissed. Plates turned. His dinosaur form folded in upon itself, metal screaming as it reconfigured.

What emerged was more terrifying than before.

Volcanicus: Transformer Form.

Towering over a thousand meters tall. In his right hand, a flaming greatsword, its blade pulsing with infernal heat. His left arm, now fully transformed, had become a fusion ion cannon, humming with cataclysmic power.

Each step he took cracked pavement beneath him like glass under an avalanche.

Ada watched, awestruck and terrified. "What the hell…? I didn't know Volcanicus could transform like that!"

William, calmly brushing dust from his jacket, replied with a grin. "He's a Transformer, remember? That warship pissed him off. Now he's done playing."

---

Above – The Dragon Warship Regroups

The dragon-shaped warship roared, stabilizing mid-air with violent wingbeats. Its giant jaws cracked open, revealing a spiraling core of unstable energy. With a mechanical growl, it unleashed a beam of pure annihilation—a blinding energy column that tore through the atmosphere.

Volcanicus didn't flinch.

He raised his ion cannon, the glow at its center swirling into a sun-like orb.

BOOOOOOOOM!!!

The two attacks met in the air. Space distorted. Light erupted in every direction. Time seemed to slow as the shockwave vaporized nearby buildings and scorched the sky. Asphalt peeled from the ground in molten sheets. The clouds turned red from the residual heat.

Volcanicus stumbled back a step. His chest plating hissed with steam. But he didn't fall.

He screamed again, rage powering his wings. Twin steel wings extended from his back, engines igniting.

"DESTRUCTION!!"

He surged skyward, slicing through the aftermath like a blade through smoke. The dragon warship reeled, its armor melting from the previous exchange then reforming again, stabilizers sparking.

Before it could regain control, Volcanicus was above it.

He raised his sword—engulfed now in white-hot plasma—and brought it down.

SLAAAAAAAAAAASH!!!

The flaming sword cleaved through the warship's top hull like it was made of paper. The blade plunged deep, cutting through armor, mechanical guts, and the shrieking core beneath. Geysers of black oil and glowing alien blood sprayed into the sky like a fountain of death.

The dragon warship convulsed.

Fire exploded from every seam.

Systems overloaded. Bodies—both mechanical and organic—were ejected in a flurry of shredded limbs and burning circuits. The scream it made was not one of code... but of agony.

Volcanicus raised the sword again, eyes like twin hellstars.

"DESTRUCTION!!!"

He roared once more, as his sword came down for the finishing blow.

The super-giant dragon-shaped battleship, already cleaved in half by Volcanicus's flaming sword, began to detonate violently from its core. Infernos danced along the split edges, cascading down into the ruptured hull. Massive explosions detonated layer by layer, engulfing the grotesque metal beast in a storm of flame and fury. Fiery debris—melted steel plates, scorched alloy bones, shattered weapon arrays—rained from the sky like the wrath of a vengeful god. Shattered fragments plummeted through skyscrapers and crushed vehicles like eggshells. The heart of New York was now a furnace of gore and ruin.

"DESTRUCTION!!" Volcanicus bellowed to the heavens, his deep, mechanical voice vibrating through the earth like an apocalyptic gong.

William, his arms crossed as fire lit up his face, smirked coldly. "Now that's the real Volcanicus. No more games, no more disguises. Welcome back, monster."

The giant Transformer turned slightly toward his creator, flames licking off his armor. "Yes, my lord. My fury... is spent."

With that solemn vow, Volcanicus's colossal frame began to unravel, plates detaching and folding in on themselves, his mighty limbs dissolving into trillions of metallic, shimmering particles—Deformed Element particles. They whirled around him like a hurricane of nanotech ash, casting reflections of fire and ruin in the air.

William raised a single hand and snapped his fingers. A cold blue light shimmered.

With a whoosh, every fragment of Volcanicus was absorbed into the void of light and vanished.

Ada's eyes were locked on the sky, the reflection of a violent storm dancing in her irises. "The Tesseract's pulse... it's rising again. That last surge wasn't the finale. It's evolving—amplifying itself."

From the cracked foundation of Manhattan, a pulsing column of blinding energy shot skyward. It twisted, like a beam forged of raw chaos, thicker and more volatile than before. The sky above twisted open like torn fabric. The wormhole grew ten times larger than before tore into reality, the sky screaming as physics unraveled.

Through that cosmic rift, they saw the belly of the universe—a celestial void scattered with nebulae and galaxies, twisting and breathing like a living thing.

Something enormous stirred beyond the portal.

William narrowed his eyes. "That... would be the final act. The Chitauri mothership. They've sent their goddamn fortress."

The monstrous vessel breached the portal's edge, its black hull the size of a city block. It scraped against the wormhole's sides, too massive to pass through fully. Its underbelly churned with jagged ridges and pulsing alien lights, like it had been grown, not built.

As it pushed through, the Tesseract responded again.

WHOOOM.

The energy surged, doubling a third time. The wormhole's diameter exploded to three thousand meters, tearing a colossal wound in the sky above Earth. The sun vanished behind the ship's shadow. It was not nightfall—it was obliteration.

Ada covered her mouth, pale. "It's... it's blocking out the sky. It's like a mountain swallowed the sun."

Alice whispered, "I thought Volcanicus was big... but this is a whole other monster."

Ada's voice cracked with disbelief. "This isn't a mothership... this is a flying apocalypse."

The Chitauri ship hovered ominously, then began to open. Dozens—no, hundreds—of rectangular doors unfolded beneath its underbelly like an industrial spider opening its fangs.

KA-CHUNK.

From each slot, massive cannons extended—thick barrels glowing with deadly blue energy.

BOOOOOOOOM.

The first barrage struck.

Columns of blue annihilation screamed from the ship, striking the surface with atomic force. The Earth convulsed. Entire city blocks were flipped inside out. Asphalt peeled, buildings erupted like tinderboxes, and people were vaporized instantly. Where once there were streets, now stood burning chasms filled with molten steel and bone.

The shockwave expanded outward, a death wave sweeping the land, grinding rubble into dust and bodies into blood mist.

Alice could barely speak. "One more blast like that and New York... will be gone. Just ash and death."

William, still watching, didn't blink. A slight smile danced across his lips.

Ada snapped, "Why the hell are you smiling? That thing just wiped out ten city blocks! Such a big guy came to your territory to act wild, and you didn't do anything?" Ada looked at William and asked.

William's grin vanished. His voice grew sharp, like a blade. "You're right."

He turned to the sky, voice thunderous. "You're right. You dare to be so arrogant without my permission. You're so arrogant."

His eyes burst into golden light, twin stars flaring with celestial rage. His voice became a roar, echoing with divine energy.

"IT'S TIME TO EXPLODE."

His veins lit up with glowing golden energy. Power rushed through his body like a supernova in motion, each muscle crackling, his bones humming with ancient force. His cells ignited from within—Deformed Meta-Cells and T-Cells fused, roaring as they accepted the golden current.

Light poured from his skin. The very air trembled.

A golden energy appeared inside William's body. This energy swam rapidly in his body, and in the process of swimming, it took in the deformed meta-cells and T-cells.
