Chapter 309 - CH: 307 Thousand-meter Volcanicus

{Chapter: 307 Thousand-meter Volcanicus}

More than a hundred dragon-shaped battleships twisted and collided through the sky like a mechanical storm, their roars and metallic shrieks grinding against each other in a symphony of destruction. The eerie shrill of twisting steel and grinding gears echoed like tortured screams across the cityscape. In the middle of the chaos, the mechanical dragons began to merge, plates slamming into place, limbs folding and intertwining, forming a single, terrifying entity.

"Roooaaarrr!"

The roar was not just sound—it was an explosion of force, a bass that rippled through windows, cracked the pavement, and sent birds screaming into the air. New York City trembled beneath the apocalyptic cry.

From the furious cocoon of steel and power emerged a nightmare: a colossal Eastern dragon-shaped warship, easily a kilometer long. It twisted and turned mid-air with an almost serpentine grace, despite its impossible size. Its chrome scales shimmered like silver blood under the sun, its eyes glowed a demonic crimson, and the wind howled in protest as the leviathan began to descend.

Each beat of its wings created shockwaves. Each movement shredded air pressure like paper. When it finally crashed into the earth, it was like watching the hammer of an angry god fall from heaven. Entire blocks were flattened. Skyscrapers crumpled like tin cans. Asphalt cracked and bled molten steel from broken pipes.

"Jesus..." Alice whispered, her voice barely audible over the sound of crumbling steel and screaming civilians.

"Well?" she turned to William, arching a brow. "You going to sit this one out, big guy? Seems like your kind of warm-up."

William stood calmly, arms crossed, the corner of his mouth curled into that familiar cocky smirk. "No need. Volcanicus will handle this. Let my beast feast."

Ada glanced up at the mechanical monstrosity leveling half of Manhattan with one lazy swing of its tail. "You sure about that? This thing isn't just big, it's... mythic. It's like the lovechild of Gundam and Armageddon."

Volcanicus let out a metallic roar, stomping forward. "Madam, battle is the blood in my veins. Even should I be shattered, my last breath will curse my enemy's name."

William gave an approving nod. "You hear that? That's not confidence. That's gospel."

"But still," Ada muttered, "it's massive. You sure size doesn't matter?"

William flashed a devilish grin. "It's not about size. It's about how big I can make him."

"...That's literally the same thing," Alice muttered under her breath.

William ignored her and raised his hand to the sky. The wind shifted as the ground beneath Volcanicus began to pulse with a strange blue light. Energy surged upward, wrapping the metal beast in a swirling tempest of deformed particles.

"Go insane, Volcanicus! Show the world your true fury!" William shouted like a mad prophet.

Ada and Alice launched into the sky, giving him space. From above, they watched as the storm around Volcanicus grew violent. Lightning crackled. Asphalt melted from the heat. It wasn't just transformation—it was a rebirth.

Then came the scream.

"RRAAAAAAARGHHH!!!"

A sound of rage, of hunger, of war.

The air rippled as Volcanicus's body began to expand. Metal shrieked as joints realigned and plates unfolded like demonic wings. His eyes blazed like twin suns. His tail uncoiled like a whip forged in the heart of a black hole.

From the sky, Alice folded her arms. "He's compensating."

"Volcanicus's show-off is my show-off," William said, floating beside her, arms stretched wide like a preacher. "And my show-off is... still about me."

Ada rolled her eyes. "That was so profound. Let me find a wall to bang my head against."

The appearance of the particle storm naturally attracted the attention of the super-giant dragon-type battleship. The super-giant dragon-type battleship roared and twisted its huge body towards the particle storm.

The monstrous dragon warship twisted its massive body and locked onto the Transformium storm around Volcanicus. Its maw glowed with building energy. A moment later, it unleashed a colossal beam—a raging white-hot plasma blast the width of a freeway.

It tore through the sky, aiming to destroy the transformation in progress.

BOOOOM!

The particle storm exploded in blinding brilliance. Light and heat washed over the city like a second sun had descended.

When the radiance cleared...

There stood a titan.

Volcanicus had been reborn. His new body was beyond comprehension—twice the size of before, armor reinforced with black plasma threads, eyes burning like wrath incarnate. Chains of molten iron wrapped around his arms like demonic restraints he'd broken free from. His claws dripped with red-hot alloy—like they'd torn through gods just minutes ago.

Now he was a super-giant steel dinosaur with a body length of an astonishing kilometer.

"RRAAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHH!!!"

The city trembled.

Then it happened.

The super-giant dragon battleship lunged with a roar, and Volcanicus met it head-on.

"Destruction!" Volcanicus roared, and his two super-giant steel wings flapped, fanning up gusts of wind strong enough to blow away buildings, and Volcanicus faced the super-giant dragon-type battleship.

On the CBS live broadcast, the female news anchor clutched the desk with trembling hands. Her voice cracked with dread, panic barely restrained as the newsroom lights flickered above her.

> "This just in—New York is under siege. A massive wormhole has torn open the sky above Manhattan, unleashing an unknown alien armada. They're not here to negotiate. They're burning everything in their path—people, buildings, even tanks are melting under their weapons. The streets are soaked in blood. Fires rage from Harlem to Wall Street. Tens of thousands are already dead."

> "Experts now believe this catastrophe was orchestrated by none other than William—yes, the very man now branded humanity's most wanted traitor. Intelligence officials fear he has aligned himself with the invaders. His goal? The total conquest of Earth."

> "The U.S. military mobilized immediately. All branches—navy, army, air force—converged on the city in a desperate attempt to stem the slaughter. But… they never stood a chance. Our advance units were annihilated. Entire battalions were vaporized. Blood and ash now coat the ruins of Times Square."

> "Let us pray for those brave souls who laid down their lives… and for the civilians still trapped in that hellscape. Do not abandon hope. Do not stop fighting."

She inhaled sharply, glancing off-camera before continuing with a haunted look in her eyes.

> "We now switch to live satellite feed from above New York. What you're seeing is not a scene from a science fiction movie. Two titanic war machines—each the size of skyscrapers—are locked in brutal combat. One appears as a dinosaur, the other… something else entirely. Each blow they land craters the ground, sends shockwaves that demolish blocks of cityscape. Limbs of metal and flesh litter the streets."

The broadcast exploded across every screen around the world. In homes, bars, war rooms, and bunkers, people watched in stunned horror.

Mothers clutched their children. Men swore under their breath. Some wept, others prayed.

And one teenager whispered, eyes wide, voice trembling:

> "This can't be real… this has to be CGI… right?"

But it was real.

And the war for Earth had just begun.

High Above New York – Rooftop of Stark Tower

The skies above Manhattan burned with fire and smoke. Buildings trembled. Volcanicus—now an iron god of war—rampaged below, roaring with thunderous rage that echoed across the boroughs.

On the rooftop, overlooking the carnage, William stood with arms crossed beside Ada, Alice. The skyline bathed them in eerie orange hues. Below, flames licked up from shattered streets and broken glass shimmered like glittering ash. Alice, resting her elbow on the railing, grinned mischievously.

"Now Volcanicus is going to be the center of every headline in the world," she said, lips curling in a thrill-hungry smirk. "CNN, BBC, YouTube livestreams—you've given them the juiciest apocalypse footage."

Ada narrowed her eyes, folding her arms under her chest. "William, do you even feel a shred of remorse for what you've unleashed? The city's practically gone to hell."

William turned, raising a single finger with theatrical flare. "Not even a molecule of regret," he said with a wicked smile. "You know why? Because the world won't blame Volcanicus... they'll all blame me."

Alice burst into laughter. "She's right! At this point, 'Global Terrorist Attack' and 'William's Fault' are practically synonyms."

"Terrorists? Earthquakes? Alien invasions?" Ada quipped, deadpan. "It's probably just William sneezing in a basement somewhere."

Alice leaned closer, eyes gleaming. "Bad guys + explosions + random mechs = William. That's the new math. Proud of yourself, you magnificent bastard?"

William threw his head back, laughing wildly. "Don't compliment me so much! You'll make me cry."

Ada groaned. "Compliment?! That was sarcasm, you shameless man!"

Elsewhere – Hammer Industries HQ, Surveillance Command Room

Inside the top floor of the Hammer Industrial Building, chaos echoed through the reinforced glass as the city shook. Maria Hill leaned forward, eyes wide, fists clenched on the polished steel table. The projection before them showed Volcanicus in all his monstrous glory—roaring, charging, swatting Chitauri ships from the sky like mosquitoes. His claws tore metal and flesh alike, rivers of alien blood raining down in crimson streaks.

"What the hell is that thing!?" Maria demanded. "Just how much was that freak hiding?"

White Queen, seated on the edge of the console like a queen on her throne, tilted her head. "His name is Volcanicus. Hobby: destruction. And as for William? That bastard hasn't even started getting serious."

Natasha Romanoff narrowed her eyes, arms folded as she stared unflinching at the live feed. "He's not even warmed up. That smug prick's still in base form."

"You're telling me he can level Midtown, and this is just his warm-up act?" Maria growled.

"Well, he is technically defending New York," White Queen offered coyly. "The Chitauri started it. Volcanicus is just... passionate about collateral damage."

Another Chitauri cruiser exploded mid-air, skewered by Volcanicus's tail before he turned and ripped a Leviathan in half with his jaws. Guts and metal rained down like hellfire. A low rumble shivered through the earth.

Natasha's eyes narrowed with suspicion. "White Queen... I've seen William morph before. Into a vehicle. That's not just a Transformer reference, is it?"

The White Queen smirked. "Curious, aren't you? Fine. Let me peel back the curtain for you."

She tapped the console. The screen flickered and a new video feed played—William transforming mid-battle. His flesh shimmered, metal skin folding and rotating until he shifted into a Transformer-esque warrior. It wasn't just a machine; it was an evolution, fused with alien elegance and savage might.

Natasha blinked. "He's using Transformium. Real Transformium…"

White Queen nodded. "Yes. His body hosts two unique cell types—Transformium Metamorphic Cells and T-Cells. The first gives him the ability to adapt into mechanical forms. The second... well, let's say it rewrites his biology. Every time he transforms, he becomes harder to kill."

"Those forms... how many does he have?" Maria asked, eyes locked on the footage.

"The Transformer Forms currently known are Singlet, Doublet, Triplet, Quadruplet, and... the Shining Quadruplet." White Queen's voice dropped to a near-whisper. "The last one... it's not just power. It's divinity wrapped in steel."

Just then, another explosion on the screen interrupted them. Volcanicus had gone berserk. He speared a Chitauri warship with one wing, his claws dragging molten remains through a building, painting the ruins with alien entrails. Blood. Fire. Screams.

White Queen's smirk vanished. Her expression grew cold.

"I hope you're all ready," she said quietly, gaze hard. "Because if William decides to stop holding back... none of humans are getting out of this city alive."
