Jeff put on his red trunks and shirt before getting off the bed, leaving Nubia and Veena to continue their intimacy while they waited for him to come back after checking who had been patiently waiting outside and continuously ringing the intercom.
Looking at the intercom screen, Jeff saw a pair of police officers: a middle-aged man and a young woman.
It made him anxious, but he had no choice but to talk to them.
"I'm sorry for answering quite late," he said through the intercom. "Do you need something, officers?"
"Are you the one named Jeff?"
"If so, we would like to invite you to the station regarding Dexter's death."
"Wait—that bastard is dead?!"
