Chapter 382 - The Turmoil in Distant Time and Space

"Why are you... looking at me like that?"

Rope looked puzzled.

"I haven't seen you before."

Celebi wasn't one to sell herself short, and stated her confusion rather directly to Rope.

Rope was somewhat amused.

"Isn't it normal that you haven't seen me before? I'm just an ordinary human, isn't it a normal thing to have never seen me before?"

Celebi looked the self-proclaimed 'ordinary human' up and down, feeling the flames burning underneath his human skin. No, maybe the human skin was all congealed from flames...

A look of contempt.

"If you're an ordinary human, Hoopa is an ordinary Pokémon."

Celebi also spat helplessly. After all, this guy in front of him was clearly not a normal human. Mixed in with normal humans, the humans couldn't tell anything else, but in the eyes of them, the gods, they could tell at a glance that he wasn't human!

This guy was like a bear hiding in a flock of lambs.

It would be a hell of a thing to hide.

"Isn't Hoopa an ordinary Pokémon?"

Rope inclined his head to look at Hoopa, puzzled.

The corners of Hoopa's mouth twitched slightly before he looked seriously at Celebi and nodded very seriously.

Celebi's mouth twitched slightly.

"You guys know that's not what I meant." She sighed softly. She had always been very direct. But these two guys in front of her didn't seem like decent people.

"I've probably been through thousands of timelines. But in all the timelines I've been through before, there wasn't a single one that had you in it."

"And anyone who might have accomplished something would have shined in those timelines."

With that said, Celebi pointed to Red, "Red, in some timelines is just your average human. But always has a bright performance in times of crisis. And among some other timelines, even when he's the villain, he's bound to become the big bad."

"Same for Blue."

"I even experienced a timeline where Professor Oak ruled the world."

And so all of everyone's eyes were focused on Professor Oak's face.

Professor Oak was a bit dumbfounded, and the breakfast in his mouth was being chewed unconsciously.

"Professor still has it in him."

Red teased with a smile. But the look on his face did grow more serious. After all, no one denied that there was indeed such a possibility. Professor Oak could be said to be a single-handedly powerful person in the trainer world itself back then. If one aspired to power, then with the help of the Oak family, accomplishing domination of the League would not be difficult...

Just like the current Rope. When Rope said he wanted to rule the League, then he was indeed able to rule the League.

"Even I've seen that person who was chasing me last night. He was also a colorful character at the point in time over a hundred years ago."

"But you, Rope, a human who is as powerful as a god. Surprisingly, you've never appeared in the points in time I've previously experienced."

"That can only prove one thing..." said Celebi, her eyes blazing with a hint of defiance.

"You shouldn't even exist with this world, you're an...outsider. An outsider who came to the world after it was born."

And so the entire restaurant fell silent.

No one spoke anymore, and even the rate of breathing couldn't help but slow down.

Rope smiled lightly and didn't make a sound either.

Even the three women who were at the doorway heading this way were momentarily unsure if they should approach them or not.

But Rope looked at the aggressive Celebi, then spoke, "I don't know exactly why you must bring this matter to light, but I can also understand your thoughts.Rope is not a person who can be reassured."

"But the fact that you're still here now, aside from wanting to know something about me, is more... still because you don't have a choice do you?"

Rope had a smile on his face, a smile that seemed gentle, but Celebi, who was facing him, felt as if a knife was running across her skin.

There wasn't the slightest hint of fear on her face, but even in Rope's presence she was able to personal maintain a basic level of authority. This was a god who had seen the true meaning of Shankandu in turmoil.

"Whatever you say. I just want to know if you are an outsider or not, and if you are an outsider, what kind of role do you really play?"

Celebi didn't half flinch, staring at Rope intently, refusing to budge.

"That question seems really crucial to you."

The smile on Rope's face tightened and he looked at Celebi with suspicion in his eyes.

"This question however is critical to me. And something I must figure out."

Celebi nodded seriously.

Seeing that the people over here had started talking again, the three women also returned to their seats and sat down. Looking at the one person and one god in front of them, they didn't know how to react.

Rope, after some hesitation, didn't hide it, anyway, the people present basically knew about herself. What he himself was telling Celebi now was not even as much as the others knew.

"That's pretty much what happened. I'm playing the role of savior. At least from a normal perspective."

Rope's words were clear, so Celebi nodded.

"In that case, I've heard about your request from Hoopa as well. I'm willing to take you through to that point in time you requested."

Rope nodded calmly, but didn't say anything more.

After all, since Celebi had said such a thing, it meant it.

"However, I also have my conditions."

Rope remained calm, he had already guessed that this would happen. If it was Kakeru who had made the move, the injuries on Celebi's body definitely wouldn't have been able to heal in a day.

Moreover, this guy Kakeru was supposedly commanding an interest in the Origin. Now add in a Rope at most.

Celebi was nothing more than a Pokémon that looked kinda rare.

Rope feels the same way now. A Legendary Pokémon that could seriously injure her with the flick of a finger if she found the chance. did she still want to find any more rowdiness in herself?

"Expand on that."

Rope was also quite curious as to what this request of Celebi's was. After all, for a god to have this kind of way to make a request, Rope wasn't sure what kind of strange, weird, or tricky and annoying request would come up.

Celebi took a deep, nervous breath.

"I'd like you to travel with me to the other timeline once you've finished your business. Help me save the other Celebi."

Another Celebi?

Rope was a little confused.

"What's going on? I can help you, but I need to know some basics."

Rope said seriously, every Celebi had a rescue. So whenever he could, he was sure to help whenever he could.

But on the other side of the table that they hadn't noticed, Hoopa had stopped eating and was staring at Celebi closely without saying a word.

Celebi let out a helpless sigh and said, "You have to realize that things like timelines are interdependent with the world."

Rope nodded, understandably indeed. After all, he didn't really know much about these things, but he still had some superficial knowledge.

"Over the years, there have always been a lot of Pokémon worlds that have inexplicably been destroyed. It's obvious that the point in time for collapse and remodeling hasn't arrived yet, but they've already been destroyed."

Rope's face squared up again, this was the work of that black-skirted woman...

"And as a result, the timelines have begun to fluctuate as well, and all of us Celebi, over the years, have been trying to maintain each timeline as best we can."

"This timeline on your side of the world had a fluctuation six years ago as well. But we didn't find any valuable clues in the end, and the trend of this timeline was trending in the right direction, so a year ago, we withdrew our reconnaissance of this timeline."

Celebi looked at Rope somewhat helplessly.

"Now that I think about it, the guy who caused the fluctuation in the timeline should be you without any mistake."

Rope shrugged, indicating that he was at liberty to say whatever Celebi wanted.

"And in the other timeline, there was a Pokémon that...got out of control."

"That Pokémon's name...was Mewtwo..."

Rope held his forehead somewhat feebly.

He knew that whenever something went wrong in the Pokémon world, there was a 50/50 chance that it would be out of this Mewtwo fellow. This Legendary Pokémon created by Team Rocket. could be considered a time bomb in any world. As long as it wasn't properly lured, then it would definitely cause things for you. Just more or less.

"I've seen a lot of Mewtwo too, but in that timeline, Mewtwo got Mine Plate and, well, completely digested Mine Plate."

Hoopa subconsciously exclaimed, "Impossible! There's just no way anyone could have digested a Plate."

Even Arceus only utilized Plate, not digested it.

Of course, that was something Hoopa didn't get to say. It was also a little secret between Hoopa and Arceus.

"But he did."

Celebi spoke somewhat helplessly.

"We thought about pulling this timeline back as far as we could, after all, this isn't the way it was supposed to go..." and Celebi still felt quite a bit of pain as he said this...

It's like seeing one of your own students solving a problem with a wrong kind of solution.

Incidentally you can't beat this student of yours.

"But we failed."

Rope bristled, expectedly.

"There's a Celebi trapped in Mewtwo's hands. Though it shouldn't be in any danger for now. But we're still worried. That's what I'm asking."

Celebi looked at Rope seriously, "Rescue our companion."

Rope still had some surprise on his face, "Shouldn't you be asking me to correct that one world line?"

Rope thought this was a workaholic Celebi.

"The timeline is fine either way. We've also seen for a long time that our Celebi's impact on the turmoil in the timeline can be as small as it can be. We'll just do our best, but we generally won't put our lives on the line either."

What Celebi said was harsh, but also realistic.

Rope if he remembered correctly as long as the World Consciousness didn't die then the timeline wouldn't die out, and those worlds that were now destroyed would still be remade as long as they were in the World Consciousness. But right now then... the World Consciousness doesn't have much time.

This kind of thing Rope also knew not too long ago. It was sort of a compensation that Year had given the other party in case of a violation.

And Rope...had told Aka about it before...

"I promise."

Rope didn't drag his feet, in fact, he didn't really feel anything about this kind of thing. And he felt that... even if that Mewtwo was as strong as it was, Rope would still be able to finish the other.

Don't ask, ask is the flame that can burn energy is just strong and invincible.

Celebi was relieved to see Rope agree and smiled, "That's good."

And at this time, Hoopa raised his hand. Opening his mouth, he asked.

"That..."

Once again, all of the people in the room converged their eyes on Hoopa.

"I don't mean anything else.Celebi can you simulate the soul fluctuation of that trapped Celebi?"

"Or rather..." asked Hoopa as he pulled a small green bead out of hair somewhere and opened his mouth to ask, "Does the her you saw... match the soul fluctuations on this bead...? "

Even Blue could now sense something emotionally wrong with Hoopa.

That feeling of worry with a hint of anticipation. One could almost see his pain with the naked eye.

Rope didn't know what was going on. He knew Hoopa well, the two could even be called friends. But Hoopa still had a lot of things he didn't tell Rope, just like Rope had a lot of little secrets he didn't tell Hoopa.

But Rope knew that this matter now, no matter what, must be something important and significant to Hoopa.

So Rope's face also became serious. If this matter was really like what he thought it was, then Rope really couldn't stay out of it.

"So it's you. I told you how you knew our initial place..."

Celebi looked at the green bead.

"I didn't realize it would be an Ultramagic God when she told me she liked the guy for a bit..."

As soon as her words fell, a powerful pressure was uncontrollably released in the middle of the entire room.

Of course, Rope was also immediately releasing her own aura to help block the pressure from the others.

Rope's face was grave. professor Oak, Blue, and Red were all very serious as well. And Daisy, Sennogi, and Whitley have more concern and pity on their faces.

But they were all looking at Hoopa.

"I'm... going to... save her!"

Behind Hoopa, evil thoughts began to manifest. It was as if it was out of control once again.

This gray energy body was a manifestation of the Ghost type's energy...the Ghost type's energy that had been condensed by the Soul-Nourishing Beads back then had been lurking within Hoopa's body.

Now Rope seemed to have seen the possibility of stimulating it.
