Chapter 66 - " The Game stage"

( Still around 1 pm, at the Safe House:;)

( Inside , in the luxurious living room::);;

....The laughter had barely faded from their faces when Dee's expression turned serious. She leaned forward, her eyes locked onto the others. "I need that car," she said, her voice low and determined.

Nun raised an eyebrow, her voice laced with curiosity. " Exactly how are you planning to get it, Dee? " She chuckled " Those cars aren't exactly cheap, and we most definitely can't use our card, with our parents keeping a close eye on our spending."

Dee's gaze didn't waver. " Who said anything about using Our card "

" Then how exactly are you going to get it " Nat asked his voice fullied with curiosity,

As the others burst out laughing at Dee's confidence. Vor chuckled, Chan shook his head, and Nun When the laughter faded, Dee's calm smile emerged. "Easy," she said. "I'm going to get it with their card... just like the deal they brokered." The room fell silent, the others exchanging skeptical glances.

Vor chuckled. "Dee, that deal's just a ploy for our parents to get what they want from us. You should know better."

Dee's face set in a determined expression. " Ohh I know alright.. but I want it and I'm going to get it. No matter what ."

The others exchanged glances, their faces a mix of amusement and concern. Chan spoke up, his voice calm and observant.

"You know, Dee, maybe this is a good opportunity for you to learn to deal with disappointment. You've always gotten what you wanted, haven't you? Maybe it's time you learned to deal with not getting what you want. Just a thought."

Dee's gaze locked onto Chan's, her eyes daring yet her tone calm " I guess not all thoughts need to be heard "

" Exactly what do you have in mind?" Chan chuckled

" Don't worry, I can't afford to do anything dangerous " Dee replies calmly

Vor leaned forward, a mischievous glint in his eye. "I've got an idea," he said, his voice low and contemplative. " Who's up for a little game ?" he chuckles

The room fell silent, with each member considering Vor's proposal.

Nun's eyes lit up with amusement "Depends...What did you have in mind?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Nat's headshake was almost imperceptible, his disapproving gaze speaking volumes. "Seriously, Vor, you're dredging up that asinine game again?" His tone was laced with frustration. "This kind of reckless thinking is exactly what got us into this mess."

Vor's chuckle was low and smooth, his grin unwavering. "Ah, come on, Nat. Lighten up. It'll be fun. And hey, maybe we'll all get lucky."

Nat's annoyance simmered just below the surface. "You're not thinking about the consequences, Vor. This isn't some game. It's our lives on the line."

Vor's smile didn't waver, but his eyes sparkled with mischief. "I'm thinking it's a chance to shake things up. We're all stuck in this together, might as well make it worth our while."

The room erupted into a cacophony of debate, with some members chiming in with enthusiasm and others voicing reservations, the tension in the room was palpable

Nat glared at Vor. " But Vor...Your game is what's gotten us into this mess,.. If you hadn't come up with that Silly game, we'd be fine right now."

Vor's face lit up with a mix of defensiveness and amusement. "You're really gonna blame me for everything? Wit and The Top members actions contributed just as much. They're the ones who escalated things, not me nor my game."

Nun jumped in, her voice firm. "Chill out, Guys... Vor is right ,Wit and The Top members played a part too.... And now that they're gone, we can actually make this work without extra drama."

Vor's grin returned, and he leaned forward. "Exactly. And now that they're out of the picture, we can focus on making this game work for us. We'll set some ground rules, make it safer, and actually have some fun for a change."

Nat raised an eyebrow, still skeptical. "I don't know, Vor. Your games always seem to end in disaster. What makes you think this one will be different?"

Vor's eyes sparkled with persuasion. "Think about it, Nat. If we play this game just right, we can get the one thing We've always wanted – Our dream car .... Nat you can finally drive the car of your dreams."

Nat's features tightened slightly as he leaned in, his voice laced with caution. "If...if we play it right....if we don't get in trouble....it's all if.".....
