Listening to Shinji's sedate tone, Pirato tensed up slightly. Part of him was telling him to have investigated the young man before rushing in to throw an invitation.
—What does he want?
Tension had caught the Academy principal, and he nodded.
"I don't know much about the Roman Cavalry, but something tells me Lilachan is part of it. I have a 'thing' for her, and I would like to be under her, or Valorn at least."
'What a fool!'
Pirato's comment was comprehensible. Likewise, someone like Lila was beyond Shinji's grasp; if she is an eagle, then he is the worm she eats in the morning —Valorn is another issue: no one dares to work with him.
All the cautiousness Pirato had for Shinji vanished.
He nods a few times.
