"Madam..."
Rachel was on her way to check if Jackson had woken up when Ann, the housekeeper, stopped her.
Rachel paused. "Hmm?"
Ann's face showed signs of discomfort. "Madam… um."
Rachel smiled. "What's the matter, Ann? Is there something you need to tell me?"
Ann hesitated for a moment before speaking up. "Madam, there's something I feel I should inform you about first."
Noticing the serious expression on Ann's face, Rachel furrowed her brow, still smiling. "What is it? Go ahead and tell me."
Ann bit her lip. "I just saw Miss Bennett."
Rachel froze. "Miss Bennett? You mean… Luna Bennett?"
"Yes."
The smile that had been on Rachel's face slowly faded. "She was here just now?"
Ann quickly replied, "Miss Bennett didn't come into the villa; she just met me outside."
"Oh."
The mention of Luna Bennett brought back memories of a few months ago.
When Rachel had first returned to Kingsly's side, she had noticed Luna frequently sending messages to Kingsly.
