Pregnancy was indeed a challenging journey for a woman.
As she reached over nine months, she could go into labor at any moment, and she began to have trouble sleeping.
The heavy belly weighed her down, and the harrowing experience of giving birth to Jackson still haunted her mentally.
That night, she carefully lifted the covers and headed to the hibiscus couch by the floor-to-ceiling window. Kingsly sat up beside her and gently wrapped an arm around her waist.
"Uh, did I wake you?" she asked.
Kingsly's handsome face was still drowsy. "Where are you going?"
"I can't sleep."
"What's wrong? Are you feeling uncomfortable?" Kingsly reached out to feel her forehead.
"No, it's just that my belly is so big, it's hard to sleep... I want to sit for a while." She kissed his cheek. "Go back to sleep; you have to go to the office tomorrow."
Kingsly said nothing.
She got out of bed and sat on the hibiscus couch, feeling much more comfortable.
