"Wait!"

Daken shouted as he walked quickly toward Michael and the others.

Seeing Daken, Logan's expression changed. He said to Emma, "Let's get out of here quickly."

He had no idea when this son of his had been conceived, but there was no doubt that the man was arrogant and twisted.

The moment they met, he had come looking for a fight to the death. If Logan hadn't seen that the man's abilities were so similar to his own, guessed his identity, and confirmed it during the fight, he would have finished him off.

But now, this man's approach was definitely not for a friendly father-son farewell.

Wait, how did he even get here?

Did he come with Michael and Emma?

As Logan thought of this, he turned his head to look at Emma. Seeing her watching him quietly, he forced a smile.

"Uh, about him... I really don't know what's going on."

Emma said calmly, "You've lived for a very long time. Anything is possible."

Before she had confirmed her relationship with Logan, he had also been a man of... passion. It was perfectly normal for him to have left a child or two behind during his long life.

Emma could accept these things.

But... what the hell was up with this Daken?

Why was he looking at her like that?

Emma's face was cold as she looked at Daken, who was now standing before them.

"I am Logan's fiancée. In the future, you can call me... Mom!"

Daken's mouth twitched uncontrollably. "I'm older than you!"

He paused, then shot a provocative glance at Logan. "Besides, you're not going to be this old bastard's fiancée for much longer."

Old bastard?

Logan snorted lightly, unconcerned.

"As long as I kill him, you'll be mine."

Saying this, Daken let a smile spread across his face, his eyes raking over Emma without any restraint.

Logan: "?"

He turned his head to look at Daken, and after noticing the look in his eyes...

"Do you believe I won't kill you?"

He roared in anger, striding toward Daken.

Daken grinned, deliberately provoking Logan.

"Come on! Let's see if I kill you, or you kill me! The winner gets to have Emma! How about it?"

"You think I'm afraid of you? Don't think I won't kill you just because you're my son!"

Daring to have ideas about his woman... he was simply tired of living.

Hearing this, Michael was left speechless.

Such a melodramatic plot, such a touching display of fatherly love and filial piety...

But then, he glanced at Emma, who was standing to the side. He saw her watching Logan with a slight smile, and his eye twitched.

Well, alright. It seemed Emma was quite satisfied with the idea of Logan taking out Daken.

Just then, Emma spoke, her expression impassive. "What do you take me for? A prize for you to fight over?"

Or maybe a delicious bone? Michael inwardly retorted.

Following Emma's icy voice, her eyes turned cold. Psionic power quietly invaded the minds of both men.

The next second, both of them promptly passed out.

Emma walked over to the unconscious Logan, grabbed one of his legs as if she were dragging a piece of trash, and walked over to Michael, offering him a smile.

"Let's go."

Michael nodded quickly, opening a portal.

Emma dragged Logan and strode through.

Just as Michael was about to step through the portal, he looked back at the only two living people remaining, Mariko Yashida and Yukio, besides the unconscious Daken. He said to them, "You two should leave quickly. That man unconscious on the ground is an assassin sent by your father to kill you."

With that, Michael stepped through the portal and vanished before them.

After Michael's group left, Yukio glanced at Mariko, then picked up a sword from the ground and walked toward Daken.

"Yukio, what are you doing?" Mariko's expression changed, and she cried out in alarm.

"You heard him. He's your father's assassin, sent here to kill you."

"But he's also Logan's son. And Logan... he saved me."

As she said this, Mariko's expression as she looked at Daken quietly began to change.

That's right. This was Logan's son.

Logan...

Michael's Home.

Raven was in the kitchen preparing lunch, while Gwen was in the living room looking after Little Lamb. To be precise, she was chasing Little Lamb.

"Stop running!"

Gwen yelled, chasing after the baby.

But Little Lamb, crawling all over the place, was like a little mouse. He giggled as he crawled at high speed. Then, before Gwen's stunned eyes, his speed continuously increased, until his crawling limbs blurred into afterimages.

"This, this is..."

She stared at the scene in shock, then suddenly screamed, "Help me!"

"What's wrong?"

Raven rushed into the living room at top speed.

Gwen pointed at Little Lamb, who had stopped crawling.

"He... he... he's awakened another new ability!"

Hearing this, Raven, who had been tense, visibly relaxed.

She and Michael had already gotten used to Little Lamb awakening new abilities from time to time.

"What is it this time?"

Raven looked at Little Lamb on the floor, pressing her temples as she asked with a smile.

Gwen frowned. "It seems to be some kind of super-speed ability. I couldn't even catch him. He was moving so fast he left afterimages."

"Super-speed?"

Raven's brow furrowed.

This ability was a bit troublesome. If Little Lamb was disobedient and ran off, she wouldn't be able to catch him. If she wasn't paying attention, Little Lamb could get lost...

The little guy had only just mastered his levitation ability two days ago, and now he had super-speed?

Raven looked at Little Lamb helplessly. "You really are a little troublemaker."

"Giggle!"

Little Lamb laughed happily, crawling up from the floor and holding his arms out to Raven, muttering, "Mama, hold, hold."

"Mama is going to make yummy food. You play with your sister."

Raven stroked Little Lamb's head and said softly.

Little Lamb nodded, as if he understood, then turned and crawled over to Gwen, hugging her leg.

Gwen looked at this scene, completely exasperated.

Looking at Little Lamb acting like this, who would believe he was just a baby, barely more than a month old?

And thinking about the abilities Little Lamb had awakened so far...

"He's simply a little monster," Gwen muttered, a trace of melancholy on her face.

She had originally been looking forward to being the big sister who could protect Little Lamb.

But based on the current situation...

It was more likely she would be the one being protected by Little Lamb.

Still, thinking about a future scene of herself being protected by four big bodyguards, Gwen couldn't help but let out a 'hehe' chuckle.

Oh boy, who would dare to mess with her then?

The more Gwen thought about it, the happier she became, even growing a little impatient for it.

"Smack!"

A hand slapped the back of her head.

"Who dares to mess with me!"

Gwen roared, whipping her head around.

"Da-Dad!"

She shrank back, looking thoroughly cowed.

"What were you thinking about?"

Michael asked, amused. He used his thumb to wipe the corner of Gwen's mouth.

"Nothing!"

Gwen giggled. "How did it go? Did you find Uncle Logan?"

"Found him. I already sent them back to Planet Kent."

"That's great!"

Gwen sighed in relief. She saw the smile on Michael's face that he couldn't seem to wipe away and guessed, "Dad, did something interesting happen?"

"Mhm," Michael nodded. He leaned his head down and whispered to Gwen, "Your Uncle Logan has a son out there."

"What!" Gwen shrieked, her face lighting up with gossipy excitement. "Quick, tell me, what's the story?"

Little Lamb, curious, also grabbed their pant legs and pulled himself up to a standing position.

"Let me tell you, you have no idea, that kid..."

Just as Michael was chuckling, telling Gwen what he had seen, Raven walked over from the kitchen. She looked at the father, daughter, and son with amusement. "What are you talking about? It's time to eat."

"Dad said Uncle Logan has a son out there!"

"What?"

Raven covered her mouth in surprise, then asked, "What happened? How is Emma?"

"She's doing pretty well, and Logan's son has a... particularly good impression of her," Michael summarized succinctly.

Raven let out a breath of relief, waving to the three of them. "Well, in that case... hurry up! We'll talk while we eat!"

"Alright!"

"I'm so hungry."

Michael bent down and scooped up Little Lamb, and the three of them walked toward the dining room.

The sky, where the night was gradually receding, seemed to merge with the boundless ocean, shrouding the entire world in darkness.

It felt oppressive and heavy.

But at this moment, a small yacht was moving slowly through the Atlantic Ocean.

Skye—oh, no, it was Daisy Johnson now—sat on the edge of the cot, hugging her knees. She stared into the darkness before her, but her eyes were shining with hope.

Even though they had been drifting on this ocean for more than ten days, she still had not given up.

They were searching for Attilan, the city of the Inhumans, a place that hadn't even left behind any legends.

Ever since they received information about Attilan, they, who had been preparing for this for a long time, immediately set out to sea on the small yacht they had pre-arranged.

Over the past ten days, they had experienced a lot and seen a lot, but the one thing they had not seen was Attilan, the city they were searching for.

Her companions had already lost hope. Only she and her boyfriend, Lincoln, continued to encourage each other, still holding on to a sliver of hope.

"Daisy."

A man with short blonde hair, a handsome face, and a bit of stubble walked over to the cot and draped a blanket over Daisy's shoulders.

Daisy turned her head and smiled at him. "The sun is about to come up."

"Yeah."

Lincoln replied, then hesitated slightly. "Daisy, let's go back. Maybe the information we got was wrong. When we get back, we can gather more information, more accurate information, and then we can come out and look again."

"No!" Daisy shook her head, insisting, "I have a feeling. I feel like we'll find something this time."

Lincoln looked at Daisy and said in a low voice, "But if we keep going like this, our supplies won't be enough."

Daisy hesitated.

"Then just one more day of searching, okay?"

She looked up at Lincoln, her eyes pleading.

Lincoln's heart softened, and he nodded.

Just then, two men and one woman, three young people about their age, walked over.

"Lincoln, I told you Daisy wouldn't give up so easily. But our supplies are really running out."

"That's right! Let's go back first, and next time..."

"Next time, next time! Why bother coming out again? How long have we been searching? That place doesn't even exist! It doesn't exist! Do you understand?"

As he finished speaking, the deck fell silent.

Lincoln looked at Daisy, then frowned and shouted, "Romeo! You need to calm down."

"Calm down?"

The man called Romeo took a deep breath, speaking rapidly. "I am very calm!"

He looked at the other two. "Lily, Bacon, how long are we going to search for this non-existent city? How much more of our youth are we going to waste? Don't you want to have normal lives?"

The other two fell silent.

"Normal lives?"

Daisy slowly stood up. She looked at Romeo and the other two. "Who doesn't want to have a normal life? But that's not something you can have just by wanting it!"

"Don't forget! We are Inhumans!"

She took a deep breath and continued, "Because of the last Terrigen Mist incident, a huge number of people died, and a large number of Inhumans were awakened. It's led to a situation for Inhumans that is very similar to what the mutants faced before."

"If it weren't for Planet Kent, if it weren't for Michael Kent, if it weren't for the Kent family, what do you think would have happened to the mutants by now?"

"Do you all really want to just stand by and watch the Inhuman race fall into that same dangerous predicament?"

Daisy was extremely agitated. As someone who had been an orphan since childhood, she knew all too well what it felt like to be displaced and discriminated against.

Romeo's expression wavered, but then he just sneered.

"Heh, I don't have such grand ideals as you, fighting for the entire Inhuman race."

"You coward!"

"So what if I'm a coward? It's better than being an idealist like you!"

"It is not a fantasy!"

Daisy flared up with surprising anger. Even the small yacht beneath their feet began to tremble lightly.

The expressions of the others changed.

No one knew better than them what could happen when Daisy got agitated.

"Daisy!"

Lincoln hurried to calm her down.

Daisy took a deep breath, slowly reining in her abilities, but her gaze remained fixed stubbornly on the others.

The group was locked in a stalemate. Just then, the first ray of morning sunlight pierced the darkness, spilling over the sea like golden threads, weaving a blanket of brilliant gold.

Suddenly, the other female Inhuman, Lily, looked as if she had seen something. Her eyes widened, and pointing into the distance, she shouted loudly, "Look! What is that?"

Everyone froze, then hurriedly turned to look.

There, not far from them, a spherical shield, which should have been transparent, was revealed in the first light of the sun.

And within that shield was a small island, and on that island sat a thriving, prosperous city!

"Attilan!"

Daisy cried out in joyful surprise.

The five of them looked at each other, seeing the same ecstatic joy on each other's faces.

Romeo slapped himself hard across the face, then said to Daisy, "I'm sorry. I was wrong!"

"Stop talking nonsense! Full speed ahead! I'll pilot the boat!"

The other male Inhuman, Bacon, said, and his body flashed, disappearing from the deck. He used a coordinate he had set beforehand to teleport back to the cockpit.

But just as Daisy and the other three were staring happily at the city in the distance, the city suddenly vanished, as if it were an illusion.

This time, however, they didn't have a single doubt. They pushed the yacht to full speed and sailed forward.
