A full year later.
Third Person POV:
"Afternoon residents of Green district of zone 4, I am professor Layla Starreus, most of you know me as Granny Layla the herbalist but I will be a Professor in Myriad academy starting this year. " Granny Layla introduced herself although pretty much everyone knew her already.
The residents still lined up their children neatly as the accompanying knights pulled out the awakening orb from the cart.
"Finally, I can awaken my OP potential class and meet sis in the academy. ", Ken thought to himself with a half grin on his face.
"Now then everyone let's begin. ", Granny Layla's voice rang solidly but not loudly across the plaza.
"Karl Lemon, E-tier farmer talent.
Chris Carres, C-tier mage talent.

Celia Brown, B-tier archer. "
"Wow, she's the highest so far and it's my turn next, shit I'm feeling nervous already dammit. ", Ken muttered silently while clenching his fists to try and reduce his anxiety.
"Ken Clover step up"
Ken walked nervously towards the orb while Granny Layla just smiled lightly. He put his hand on the crystal before it warbled faintly in the background and his vision cut off suddenly.

Ken POV:
I could feel a cool sensation flowing in my body from my hand touching the orb, through my arm all the way to my chest before dispersing into my entire body.
The feeling was cool and gentle and while I basked in it my vision fluttered back and I stabilized the sensation as I took a look at my changed surroundings.
I was standing on a large field of vibrant green grass, with the sun hanging high in the sky, partially covered by light clouds.
In front of me was a large platform usual seen in training halls or arenas. The platform had my longsword I used for training stabbed deeply in the center of it.
I walked slowly and cautiously towards the sword and pulled it out rather easily from the platform.
*RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE*
"Damn, what the actual hell is happening, wait are those stairs. "
From the one end of the platform I saw stairs winding upwards in random curves, turns and steepness. I began to walk up the stairs one step at a time but they seemed to endlessly increase in height.
Eventually they even pierced past the clouds and a voice eerily similar to mine rang from all directions and from inside my head simultaneously.
"Bro, just give up, you won't be able to climb all these steps in this vision. These steps are just your potential representation and not something to do in this vision so cut it off. "
"I swear my head feels like it's splitting from just his voice right now dammit. "
"Chill out I'm just you but from a different time, why the hell would your own voice kill you. "
"Arghh great, so another with mind abilities huh. "
"....Bro, I just said I'm you so it's natural that I can hear my own thoughts. "
"Whatever what is this place, and does everyone go through this or just me cause of what Granny Layla said about my growth. "
"Both you know, for everyone they all see their future selves but can't converse with them like you and me because they aren't sentient versions, just projections. Anyway time's up so see ya later me. "
"Wait, urgggghhh, my head...."
Suddenly my eyes snapped open in the real world and I saw Granny Layla grinning from ear to ear like she knew EXACTLY what I saw, and honestly I wouldn't be surprised if she did.
"Ken Clover, D-tier swordsman talent. ", she announced once again.
I simply strode towards my father and mother with a grin that said "You're son is also going to the academy. ", albeit with slightly below average talent but good either way.
"Ok let's see my status panel, finally. ", I was brimming with excitement as I muttered 'status' under my breath and a white system panel came into view.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, who would've guessed that both my children are gonna be such great fighters eventually at the academy. ", dad as usual filled the house with his lovingly proud voice complimenting me and sis.
"Dad, it's not a must to always be so loud you know", I sighed while rubbing my ears softly.
"Kenny is right dad, please stop shouting so much, we aren't in the village anymore. ", Kiara chimed in her complaints as well.
"Oh right that's why I heard a commotion earlier, was it from the neighboring district sis? ", I asked curiously.
"Yeah, Blue district had around 3 S-tier talents and a SS-tier talent. "
"Huh, I thought SSS-tier and SS-tier talents were super rare, I wasn't expecting to hear about another one this soon, especially since last year had two SS-tiers. "
"Well Kenny don't sweat it, the professors say that the average yield of awakened children increases drastically during the era of a SSS-tier like me so naturally the number of high talents increases as well, but it won't surpass 15....probably. ", Kiara boasted smugly, though her tone seemed unsure at the end.
"Oh right you should check your class advancement quest as well soon. ", she said as she left the room to buy some groceries.

I was simply overwhelmed by the information I was seeing in front of me. I had a quadruple S-tier skill, something that probably shouldn't exist in Ko'rath and even a SS-tier skill as an acquired from my swordsmanship training.
I guess it makes sense since I trained all the sword paths I knew and actually mastered them all to advanced rank without a technique as well.
But before I could gloat over my beautiful skills and above average stats(normally peak unawakened human stats are 10 each except mana) mom walked in the room holding her slipper.
"uhhh, mom I can explain please wait. "
"Dear little Kenny, explain to the person who taught you to curse when you get to hell ok. "
"Mom! waittt!!!! ", I pleaded but that damned slipper in her grip seemed to get closer with each breath I drew.
I quickly turned to Kiara but....
"pffffttt", she was barely holding in her laughter watching me panic so much.
"Dammit I'm really gonna die!!!! ", I panicked internally before...
"Honey has Ken packed his stuff yet, the guards said they have to leave in 15 minutes. ", dad actually entered the room and saved the day for the first time in his life.
"Dad you are my hero, I promise to never complain about your loud voice ever again. ", I silently pledged as I watched mom stop in her tracks and look at me menacingly before retreating and handing me my bags and leaving.
"Tch, what a waste of anticipation. ", Kiara mumbled quietly, but I definitely heard her properly as if she wanted me to hear her.
"Wow, what a helpful sister I have, I was simply overwhelmed by my own skills and you didn't even cover me, tsk tsk, I guess I'll eat the stuff I bought for you myself. "
"Huh, wait Kenny, I was joking, you know I won't ever betray you plus even I can't do anything to soothe mom's anger, in fact why would you even curse out loud when mom's just outside. ", Kiara panicked as she quickly raised a few valid points to salvage her welcome treats from me.
"sigh, whatever let's just go or we'll be late. ", I signed and let the matter go since it was mainly my fault for not keeping my reactions calm.
Me and sis picked up our bags and left home after saying bye to our parents. We walked past the different streets of Green district of the fourth zone and made our way to the teleportation arrays that lead to the academy and institution.
"Bye sis, see ya a year from now I guess. ", I waved at Kiara enthusiastically, especially excited for my time in the institution.
"Sure Kenny, try to be the strongest in your year while you still can ok. ", Kiara waved back with a warm smile as our different arrays began to glow and churn with spatial energy.
The arrays' glow intensified as the light they emitted completely covered all the young teens standing on it.
When the glow faded I could feel my senses and body return to me, which is strange considering that I never felt them leaving in the first place.
