Since getting the Fallen Knight, I felt more in tune with my mind, more sensitive and alert to the changes and reactions happening there. And as I deployed one of my created techniques, I found that fact proven.
In my head, the calm sea of Psion churned, rapidly spinning and transforming into a gigantic whirlpool.
All this happened in the span of a second, a shocking thought, and then from my mind, this churning sea of Psion burst forth, exploding out of my head at my beckon, then coiling and expanding in the air, manifesting the Malevolent Shrine.
While this happened, the shrine expanded, seeking to envelop the entire room, I watched in real-time as my Psion was drained, a massive gulp leaving as the sea level visibly fell.
"I don't have time."
After giving me the hint to deploy my domain, the system had gone silent, refusing to answer any more of my questions. So I knew things were now fully on me.
