Alex just leaves Sabertooth to settle their problem after defeating Jiemma. Whether Jiemma will leave Sabertooth as he promised if he lose or shamelessly stay there, that depends on him and them.
This is their internal problem, so he doesn't want to get involved too far. He just didn't like seeing an adult bullying a kid and even almost kill a kid just because that kid was talking a little.
Anyway, after the battle with Jiemma, Alex continues his walk around the Capital City relaxedly as if that battle was just a short break.
As he walks around with Meteor, Alex ponders about his Rinne-Sharingan. He now fully realize how powerful this eye is.
If he doesn't have this Rinne-Sharingan, he won't be able to defeat someone like Jiemma in a serious battle without transforming into the Tailed Beasts.
Just his physical power alone can't match Jiemma's Blast Magic. He couldn't dodge them if he didn't see them coming, after all.
Also, he used Rinnegan's ability to make him float and fly to help him jump to dodge Jiemma's Blast Magic that could be activated very fast.
Jiemma's defense, durability, and toughness might be weak because Sting can one-shot him. But his attacks are undoubtedly strong.
He isn't as strong as Laxus, Jura, or Ultear though. Even Elfman can defeat Jiemma if Elfman can use his abilities properly. So Alex doesn't know where Jiemma's confidence with his power came from.
Well, it doesn't really matter for Alex now. What's more important than Jiemma is what will happen in the near future.
He has succeeded in preventing the Dragons coming from the past. Even if those Dragons' appearances could help his friends and even himself grow stronger, he still preferred to prevent them from coming here.
After all, those Dragons would infiltrate the Capital, a city with so many people living in it. Even if the Kingdom evacuated the citizens, Alex was sure that there would still be victims, whether they were civilians, knights, or Mages.
Furthermore, there were a lot of changes from the original story. He has changed a lot of things so he couldn't guarantee that the Dragons coming from the past would still be the same as in the series.
Maybe the incoming Dragons were different or maybe there would be more Dragons coming here. If so, then the result might be different as well, even with him there.
With so many uncertainties, Alex thought it's better that it's better that the Dragons couldn't come at all.
Furthermore, with the appearance of Future Lucy and co, he was convinced that the risk of letting those Dragons come was too big.
The Alex from their timeline might have failed to prevent the Dragons from coming or was too confident he could defeat them because he was also thinking like that before.
But it caused a disaster and he failed to prevent the calamity that befell over the world. Such a mistake cost the lives of everyone he loves, so Alex realized that letting those Dragons come doesn't worth anything.
Besides, if his goal was increasing his friends' power, then he already got it now. When Future Lucy and co came, they brought a few things that can help his friends grow stronger.
Future Alex was killed by Dragons. He knew it was a big mistake to let those Dragons come, so he wanted to do something to change it.
Because he knew Lucy could go to the past to change it, he planned something that could help them win even if the Dragons still come.
Of course, the best thing to do was preventing the Dragons from coming, but they always need to prepare for the worst, and Alex lived by that principle. That's why his future self also prepared a few things.
What Future Alex prepared was lacrimas, but not any lacrimas. He made Dragon Lacrimas for Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy using the power of their future selves.
Future Alex told his surviving Guild Mates about the plan to send Lucy who could use the Eclipse Gate to the past to change it. Their enemies were Dragons, so the best option was to strengthen the Dragon Slayers.
The easiest way to do that is by turning Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy into 3rd Generation Dragon Slayers.
Because Alex could prevent them from being frozen in time for 7 years, everyone could grow and become much stronger than they should be.
Some even feel that they were hitting their growth limits and had a hard time getting stronger anymore, that included the Dragon Slayers.
Even though they are still much stronger than Sting and Rogue now, Alex knows that the 3rd Generation Dragon Slayers have more potential.
At the very least, by turning into 3rd Generation Dragon Slayers, they can use Dragon Forces anytime to boost their power.
Future Alex also found out that the problem why Sting and Rogue couldn't surpass Natsu and Gajeel even with their Dragon Lacrimas boosting their power was because their power wasn't matured yet when they implanted the lacrimas.
They haven't even reached their best potential when they add new power. So the bars they need to fill become even higher.
It becomes harder for them to make their power mature. If their Magic were like unripe Fruits and they were trees, then they will need more nutrition to ripen the fruits because the fruits become bigger.
But if the fruits are already ripe before growing bigger, then it will stay ripe. Unripe Fruits will grow bigger first before they ripe, so it will take longer in the process.
Well, not being Fairy Tail members might also be the reason because they aren't in the main characters' group.
Laxus also get another Dragon Lacrima to strengthen his current Dragon Lacrima. It was an enhanced version of his future self's Dragon Lacrima and it merged with his Dragon Lacrima, making it stronger.
Anyway, the Dragon Lacrimas from the future actually didn't disappear like the future people. They've implanted those Lacrimas on Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy, but no one lost them after Future Lucy and co disappeared.
No one really knows the reason, but it seems the future people know that items won't disappear like the people. That's why they prepared those lacrimas.
Alex also received a gift actually. But he is still not sure if he should use it. After all, the gift is his future self's Rinne-Sharingan.
It should make his Rinne-Sharingan abilities stronger and he might even be able to use Susanoo.
But he isn't sure if it is a good idea to use that Rinne-Sharingan. It might not even be compatible for his left eye because it is a right eye.
Then, even if he can use it in his right eye, it might not have any effect because it's basically the same eye as what he has.
Someone can only use Susanoo if both of their eyes have Mangekyo Sharingan. Rinne-Sharingan is a stronger version of Mangekyo, but Alex didn't get it from upgrading Sharingan, so it might not work.
Even if it's possible to use Susanoo with this type of Rinne-Sharingan, it might still not work because both of his eyes are right eyes.
Though well, even if he can't get those abilities, getting just the basic abilities is actually good enough. Like the enhanced vision.
So after some pondering, Alex decides to ask Porlyusica first. She should know if he can replace a left eye with a right eye. No matter how much the benefits are, it will be pointless if he can't use the eye.
Fortunately, it is possible to use a right eye as a left eye. But it will not fit right away because of the nerves' positions. It will take time for the eye to adjust in the left eye socket.
Luckily, they can hasten the process using Wendy's Healing Magic. Then, it will just be a matter of time for Alex to adapt with the new eye.
That's why after thinking seriously, Alex decides to implant the Rinne-Sharingan from the future. The benefits and possibilities are good while there is no harm in using it.
So Alex replaces his left eye with the Rinne-Sharingan with Porlyusica's help. From that implantation, they find a surprising fact. The eye just fits right away into Alex's left eye socket.
"So my left and right eyes are the same?" Alex asks with his left eye still covered in a patch.
"I don't think so. The nerves and every other part have changed from their original state. This means that your future self has used it as his left eye for quite a while."
Alex is surprised to hear that. His future self has already thought that maybe right eye can't be used in left eye. That's why he actually exchanged his left and right eye to check so he could be sure that it would work.
Future Lucy didn't tell him because Future Alex wanted his past self to make a decision himself. It makes Alex glad he decides to implant the eye after finding out that his future self has made that much effort.
He swears to his future self that he will make sure he can keep everyone safe.
