The final result for the Chariot Game from the 1st place to last is Fairy Tail A, Heaven's Runners, Fairy Tail B, Sabertooth, Mermaid Heel, Quatro Cerberus, Lamia Scale, and Blue Pegasus.
Sawyer from Heaven's Runners got 2nd place thanks to his Slow Magic that slowed down anyone near him. He used his magic as soon as Wendy's debuff spell was gone and slowed down everyone, even Laxus who has transformed into lightning to move fast.
After everyone slowed down, Sawyer summoned his Magic Bike and rode on it as fast as he could. Too bad that his Slow Magic had a radius, so everyone was freed once he got too far. Unfortunately for them, Sawyer kept his Slow Magic active all the time.
That's why they kept getting affected and slowed down whenever they got into the magic's radius. They could move outside the affected area, if their track wasn't limited to these Chariots. Because they couldn't leave the Chariots, all of them didn't have any other choice but to enter Sawyer's Magic radius and get slowed down.
Because they kept being slowed down in a certain distance from Sawyer, the gaps between them were very close as the ones behind could quickly chase the slowed down participants at the front before also getting slowed down.
So the real race of the participants behind Sawyer started after Sawyer crossed the finish line and stopped using his magic. Laxus who has transformed into lightning from the beginning immediately flashed into the finish line undisturbed.
Orga discharged a lot of lightning currents that hit everyone else, electrocuting them, and stopped them on their tracks. Bacchus recovered quickly and ran first, but Risley who used Gravity Magic to reduce her weight significantly passed him right before the finish line.
Yuka and Ichiya competed for the next place, but then Ichiya got pushed back by Yuka's magic, so he reluctantly became last place. With this result, the scores and ranking change again.
Fairy Tail A : 26 Points
Fairy Tail B : 26 Points
Mermaid Heel : 15 Points
Sabertooth : 12 Points
Heaven's Runners : 12 Points
Blue Pegasus : 11 Point
Lamia Scale : 4 Points
Quatro Cerberus : 2 Point
Fairy Tail A and B now have the same amount of points after they each got 1st and 3rd in the games, and won their 1st day battle matches. If they won their 2nd day battle matches, then their scores will still be the same because it's 10 points for winning and 0 for losing the battle round.
Meanwhile, the scoring for the Hidden Games are like this:
1st: 10 points
2nd: 8 points
3rd: 6 points
4th: 4 points
5th: 3 points
6th: 2 points
7th: 1 points
8th: 0 points
It's finally time for the battle round now and Fairy Tail A sends Elfman. Surprisingly, his opponent is also Bacchus, just like in the series. Even more surprising, Mira is also facing Jenny, just like in the series, but the other 2 matches are different.
1st Match: Lamia Scale Lyon vs Heaven's Runners Hoteye
2nd Match: Fairy Tail B Mirajane vs Blue Pegasus Jenny
3rd Match: Sabertooth Minerva vs Mermaid Heel Flare
4th Match: Fairy Tail A Elfman vs Quatro Cerberus Bacchus
This matchmaking actually makes Alex very worried. He isn't worried about Mira or Elfman, but Flare who never joined Raven Tail and joined Mermaid Heel instead after Layla saved her.
She will fight Minerva, someone who was taught to be cruel and always win. Alex can already tell that Minerva is stronger than Flare, so he's sure Minerva will win. The problem is how Minerva will fight Flare.
Being hurt in a fighting match is a normal thing. But Alex is worried Minerva would actually torture Flare just like what she did to Lucy in the series. If that happens, then Ultear or even Ur might snap, and Mermaid Heel might wage war on Sabertooth, making this very chaotic.
While Alex thinks about that problem, the 1st match starts. Alex stops thinking about that problem for now and focus on watching the match. He is really curious about Lyon's progress after 7 years.
Of course, Alex supports Lyon as his friend. But as he thought, Lyon's magic has disadvantages against Hoteye's magic. Hoteye's Earth Magic is sturdier and heavier than Lyon's Ice-Make Magic, so the hard rock attacks can destroy the shaped ices quite easily.
However, Lyon's Ice Make Magic is more flexible, especially since he is more specialized in Dynamic shapes like animals, unlike Gray who's more specialized in static shapes like objects.
Lyon realizes that Hoteye's Earth Magic utilizes the rock and soil that form the arena floor. So he makes a big Ice Bird and fly high on it to make sure he is far from the ground. This way, Hoteye won't be able to use the ground around where Lyon stands to make surprise attacks.
It works well and Hoteye's attacks get significantly weaker and slower. After all, rocks and soil are heavy, so moving them high to the sky will need a lot of energy. He also can't move his Earth spells as fast as Jura, so Lyon who can move freely using the Ice Bird can dodge them easily.
After having the high ground, Lyon bombards Hoteye with small ice creatures. They are mostly birds, but he also throws insects to the ground that will crawl toward Hoteye from all directions.
Their small sizes and high number make it difficult fot Hoteye to attack them. So he makes a thick earth dome with no gap to make sure the small ice critters can't enter. To attack, he relies on his Eye Magic that can act like a clairvoyance to see past his Earth Dome.
Lyon tries to break the dome by shooting a giant Ice Hawk that dives at a very high speed while dodging Hoteye's attacks like flying boulders and pillars that shoot up at high speed. The Ice Hawk crashes very strongly, yet the earth dome doesn't break, showing its great sturdiness.
Lyon tries again and the result is the same. So he tries something different. He just drops numerous ice blocks on the dome, covering the dome completely with ice. Lyon just keeps dumping them even though Hoteye tries to push them away all the time.
Soon, Hoteye comes out while shivering. His skin is almost blue because of the cold. Lyon made those ice blocks to be very cold, so Hoteye who doesn't have a high cold tolerance like him is defeated by the cold quickly.
His teeth are chattering, preventing him from even saying he surrenders. Fortunately, his teammate, Cobra who can hear his thoughts quickly shouts that they surrender. Lyon stops attacking and Hoteye suddenly falls on his face, making the referee stop the match.
Cobra and Sawyer quickly enter the arena to take Hoteye to the infirmary before he freezes to death. So with this, Lamia Scale wins the match, giving them 10 points.
The next match is between Mira and Jenny. Alex and everyone in Fairy Tail don't need to be worried about Mira losing here. They are more worried Mira would go overboard because sometimes she would snap and become her old self.
Thankfully, Alex manages to tell her to at least put on a show to make the fight last a little longer. It's not that he is being considerate for Blue Pegasus. But by fighting longer, Mira can show off her abilities more, preventing people from looking down on her.
Many dickheads have tried to flirt with her since they arrived in the Capital. She could handle those problems herself even when Alex or Elfman weren't with her. But it sure is annoying if she kept being catcalled all the time.
In the series, Bacchus thought he could hit on Mira and made a bet with Elfman. Even if Elfman lost, Bacchus wouldn't be able to lay his hands on Mira or Lisanna because Mira herself would've broken his bones when he tried to do that.
But Alex didn't know that many idiots actually tried to hit on her too. Most likely because she is a famous model in some magazines. So Alex thinks that the best way to repel those pests now is by showing off her power.
Mira understands his concern, so she does as he says. Jenny uses the Machina Soul she used in the series. But Mira doesn't transform into Sitri just like in the series. She transforms into her basic Satan Soul form which looks menacing rather than beautiful.
The reason is she wants to show that she isn't just a pretty face. She wants to show that she is called The Demon for a reason. Sure enough, many people already feel intimidated by her now, but they still haven't seen everything.
As the match starts, Jenny starts shooting rockets that suddenly come out of her battle suit. Her Take Over Magic allows her to take the abilities of machines, so she can use mechanical weapons like these rockets.
But Mira can destroy them with Darkness Bullets before they even reach her. Jenny then charges forward, increasing her speed by using rocker propellers that appear on her legs. She also uses the propellers to enhance her punching speed.
Yet Mira in her basic Satan Soul form can block all of Jenny's attacks easily. Jenny uses different machinery weapons to attack Mira like blast cannons, missiles, or even chainsaws.
However, Mira can destroy them all with her Darkness Magic or even bare hands. It stuns most people who watch it and when Mira thinks it's enough of a show, she attacks Jenny, and with just a swipe of her claws, she destroys Jenny's Battle Suit, defeating the Blue Pegasus Mage by only using Satan Soul's basic form.
