"And for some reason, I feel like a strange weight has been lifted off my shoulders since we came here..." Klaus continued speaking to himself.
"Oddly enough, I feel the same" Chris who had been entertaining his life partner, Scarlett, replied as he swam over.
"Hmm? Shouldn't you be with sister-in-law?" Klaus asked.
"She's playing with her friends now. It feels weird hanging around so many females... Plus she kind of shooed me away when they came" Chris replied tiredly.
He missed the days when he was the only thing she saw. Sure, romantically, it was still the same, and he didn't see that changing anytime soon. Scarlett just got herself a few female friends from the group and he was happy for her. But conflictedly enough, he wanted her all to himself at the same time. The situation was quite confusing for him...
"Haha. Never thought I'd see the day my brother would be jealous of his wife's friends... Never thought I'd see my brother with a wife actually..." Klaus replied.
