Fortunately, it seems that was the last group of Tactoa people who knew where they were.
They were probably sent after the first group. So they knew the general location from the start. Which meant their meeting was more of an unlucky encounter than a predetermined thing.
At the very least, everyone thought that was the case. If it were, maybe that creature would leave them alone...
But then again, what if the creature targeted them when it got hungry and didn't receive its Tactoa meal?
No, they couldn't possibly be that unlucky right? Besides, it had already been a while since the last time they clashed with Tactoa. So if it wanted to attack, it would have attacked.
Hell, maybe it was already gone. After all, they couldn't sense it at all, not even a vague feeling of being watched could be felt.
