Chapter 381 - Chapter 381: Qian Daoliu’s Fierce Battle Against Di Tian

Chapter 381: Qian Daoliu's Fierce Battle Against Di Tian

As Qian Daoliu unleashed his power, a massive six-winged angel appeared, radiating endless golden light, akin to a god descending upon the world. The angel statue at the heart of Spirit City also began to glow with divine light.

In that instant, all the spirit masters and soldiers in Spirit City erupted in cheers, as if they were witnessing the birth of an angel.

But Di Tian responded with an earth-shaking dragon roar. A colossal black dragon, stretching over a thousand meters, appeared in the sky, shrouding the heavens in darkness, like the arrival of an apocalypse. Di Tian wielded his Black Dragon Sword, and his entire form was shrouded in darkness, absorbing even the faintest glimmer of light.

The sky seemed to split in two—half in radiant gold, half in consuming black, like a battle between the sun and darkness.

Qian Daoliu aimed his massive golden sword at Tang San, intending to strike him down, but Di Tian blocked his path with the Black Dragon Sword, intercepting the attack.

"Di Tian, you're pushing your luck!" Qian Daoliu roared. "I'm simply eliminating a traitor to humanity, yet you interfere in human affairs?"

Di Tian scoffed. "Tang San is a friend to the soul beasts. I won't allow you to harm him."

Qian Daoliu's fury erupted, and he swung his massive golden sword at Di Tian, imbued with the divine wrath of a descending god.

But Di Tian, unflinching, met the attack with his own sword, which radiated boundless darkness capable of absorbing and corroding even divine power.

In the blink of an eye, the two clashed repeatedly in the sky, locked in a fierce duel where neither could gain the upper hand.

Meanwhile, Tang San observed the battle between Di Tian and Qian Daoliu with a smirk before slipping away to hunt down other enemies.

Controlling his Blue Silver Grass, Tang San summoned tendrils that spread across the battlefield like a horde of black serpents. Each vine was laced with lethal poison and potent dark energy, exuding an aura of pure malice that threatened to drag its victims into an abyss.

This was Tang San's first time absorbing the essence of a Titled Douluo like Demon Bear Douluo, and it brought a rare thrill as he drained the soul master's very life force. After fully absorbing Demon Bear Douluo's power, he felt his own blood boiling, especially with the dark mark on his forehead stirring restlessly, like the Dark Devilgod Tiger seeking to devour the world.

Up until now, Tang San had only absorbed the essence of soul beasts. But here, on the battlefield, he was drawing power from countless corpses, as if he'd found a perfect source of complementary energy.

He felt himself on the brink of level 99—a once-unreachable peak. A few more Titled Douluo, and he was confident he could finally make the breakthrough.

Under the Evil God King's inheritance, Tang San's body had undergone profound changes. His strength and soul power now veered toward darkness, with the black mark on his forehead urging him to tread further down this shadowed path.

The Evil God King's challenge was straightforward. To inherit the position of Destroyer, Tang San had to become a paragon of evil and destruction, a sworn enemy of all who walked the earth—a scourge to the world itself.

Though confident in his abilities, Tang San knew he couldn't yet surpass Bibi Dong's malevolence, so he sought another way forward. By fueling the conflict between humans and soul beasts, he hoped to reap countless corpses and untold power, all while fulfilling his vengeance.

As he reveled in his newfound power, Tang San set his sights on another Titled Douluo: the formidable Porcupinefish Douluo.

Among Spirit Hall's Titled Douluo, Porcupinefish Douluo's spirit was the rare Venomous Blood Porcupine, a formidable poison user with a toxicity rivaling that of Dugu Bo. Unlike Dugu Bo, however, his spirit didn't poison him, making him something of an anomaly.

As a poison-wielding spirit master, Porcupinefish Douluo had proven highly effective against the soul beasts, able to spread his toxins widely enough to weaken even ten-thousand-year soul beasts, rendering him a formidable opponent.

But before attacking, Tang San knew he needed to avoid Lightfeather Douluo's relentless arrows, lest he become an easy target.

Tang San's ambush on Demon Bear Douluo had already caused Spirit Empire's forces to falter, as they could no longer hold the soul beasts at bay with their Titled Douluo. Lightfeather Douluo was livid, barely restraining himself as he fired arrow after arrow at Tang San, not sparing any effort to conserve his soul power.

Evading the arrows, Tang San steered his Dark Blue Silver Grass towards Bear Lord, intending to help him finish off Golden Crocodile Douluo.

As the flood of Dark Blue Silver Grass ensnared Golden Crocodile Douluo, Bear Lord seized the opportunity to unleash his Heaven-Splitting Claws, aiming to grievously wound his opponent.

Golden Crocodile Douluo, sensing the threat, disregarded his depleted soul power and injuries, unleashing his martial spirit avatar. He transformed into a towering golden crocodile over ten meters long, his strength and aura surging to their peak, the golden light around him illuminating the battlefield.

He activated his ninth soul skill in a reckless, all-or-nothing attack.

Seeing Tang San's assault on Golden Crocodile Douluo, Lightfeather Douluo immediately sprinted over to assist, activating his eighth soul skill: Boundless Frost.

A storm of icy arrows filled the air, blanketing Bear Lord and Tang San's Blue Silver Grass. The icy expanse seemed to freeze everything in its path.

Under the combined assault of Golden Crocodile Douluo and Lightfeather Douluo, the Dark Blue Silver Grass was shredded, and even Bear Lord's Heaven-Splitting Claws failed to withstand their desperate onslaught.

At that moment, however, the Dark Blue Silver Grass vanished, replaced by a massive Clear Sky Hammer charged with the power of earth. It was Tang San's ten-thousand-year soul skill: Earth Ant Emperor's Strike, and its target was Porcupinefish Douluo.
