Joe's voice suddenly rang out loudly across the area as he rose to his feet in complete shock. His calm and confident demeanor from earlier had completely disappeared. The expression on his face was filled with disbelief as his eyes remained fixed on the projection showing the inside of the Combat Legion Tower.
For thousands of years the Combat Tower had been in the possession of the Violet Star Palace before one of the towers had eventually been given away to the Black Dragon Clan through an ancient wager between their ancestors.
During all those years countless disciples from Violet Star Palace had attempted to conquer the tower. Many of those disciples had been extraordinary geniuses who stood at the peak of their generation.
Yet none of them had ever succeeded in defeating the elven woman guarding the ninety eighth floor.
Her existence had slowly turned into a legend within the tower.
