Garius regarded Javier with his usual calm, serious expression.
"Enough of that. Even if you explain it, I doubt anyone in this room would fully grasp it, which is good. That means our enemies won't be able to learn anything from it either."
He leaned back in his chair.
"Now, the real issue. You know these infiltrators are using civilians as cover. I could order Alf's Shadow Unit to silence them right now. One command on the mana talkie, and it's done. But we still don't know their purpose. Rushing could mean losing critical intelligence."
Garius's eyes sharpened.
"Yet allowing them to move freely is also a risk. What if they're here to sabotage our water supply? Poison our grain? Assassinate a visiting dignitary? I will not gamble with Armand's people safety or our allies lives. Or Plant cursed artifacts in public spaces. Start a riot during the weddings or celebrations. I won't risk our people's safety for the sake of patience."
He leaned forward slightly.
