Chapter 101 - Chapter 100: Timed Explosion vs. the Green Hulk

The Green Hulk sniffed the air around him. He could clearly detect the scent of the survivor—without the slightest deviation.

Judging by the way he was charging straight toward Su Chen's RV, it was obvious he'd locked onto his target.

"Sh*t, what do I do now?"

Su Chen stared at the display screen showing the Green Hulk baring his teeth, a chill creeping through his heart.

He didn't dare move. He didn't even dare breathe deeply. All he could do was cover his mouth lightly and take shallow breaths.

He had seen the Green Hulk's destructive power with his own eyes. It wasn't just that Su Chen alone couldn't defeat it—even ten of him wouldn't stand a chance.

He didn't dare confront it head-on. Their levels of strength weren't even close.

All he could do now was hope—hope that the Green Hulk wasn't really coming for him. But that hope was wishful thinking at best.

With every step the creature took, it closed the distance between them. At this point, escape was no longer an option. He'd have to face it head-on.

Tomorrow's news might read: "World Champion Killed by Mutant Beast!"

That would send shockwaves throughout the RV World. Peaceful days would be over—because if even he couldn't defeat a mutant beast, how could any other survivor hope to?

It was pure fantasy. Utterly unrealistic.

Beads of cold sweat formed on Su Chen's forehead as his heart pounded furiously. This was a battle for survival.

If by some miracle he could win, his title as the number one in RV World would finally be beyond question. The mockery and disdain might finally quiet down.

But right now, victory wasn't even on Su Chen's mind. He just wanted to live.

A single punch from the Green Hulk could flatten him like a pancake. He wasn't even sure if his RV could withstand its attacks. It was looking grim...

This was already a high-risk situation. He couldn't afford to let his guard down. A single misstep could cost him his life.

The Green Hulk took long, powerful strides, each one resonating with weight and purpose. Its expression was one of absolute confidence—it wasn't here to beat some no-name opponent anymore.

"Thud! Thud! Thud!"

The Green Hulk quickly located Su Chen's RV and launched a fierce assault.

This was a direct provocation against the world champion.

Its blows weren't for show. Each punch hit the RV with terrifying force, leaving massive dents with every strike.

Inside, Su Chen was trembling.

"What do I do?! Is this the end of my RV World journey?"

He was at a complete loss. This was not just a battle of strength—it was a mental trial as well.

"RAAARGH!"

The Green Hulk pounded the RV.

Su Chen could hear the sound loud and clear. His heart burned with frustration.

He'd been in situations like this before—like when he faced that giant spider. Although the spider couldn't compare to the Green Hulk in raw power, the terror he felt was just as real.

So far, the Hulk hadn't injured him, but—

BANG!

Suddenly, Su Chen's eyes went wide as he stumbled backward several steps.

"Help! Aaaaaah!"

His mind went blank. Words failed him.

The RV's defense had always been reliable—but now, it had been breached.

The Green Hulk had punched through the door. It wasn't a single blow that did it—more like the accumulated force of a dozen punches.

The most critical part—the RV's door—was now destroyed. Its defensive capabilities had dropped significantly.

Staring at that massive green fist poking through the doorframe, Su Chen's mind raced through a hundred possible plans.

His current arsenal was much stronger than before. He had a flamethrower, a Uzi submachine gun, a 98k sniper rifle...

He grabbed the Uzi and fired wildly.

RAT-A-TAT-TAT!

The Green Hulk's hand remained stuck through the RV entrance. Thankfully, the RV's structure held up; only one hand had made it in, and the door hadn't been fully torn off.

Su Chen took a deep breath.

"Good thing I upgraded the RV early on... Otherwise, I'd be toast."

His left eyelid started twitching uncontrollably. As the old saying goes: left eye for fortune, right eye for disaster.

So his left eye twitching—did that mean something good was coming?

Was a beautiful woman about to fall from the sky? Or was he about to gain immortality?

All nonsense. Right now, the only thing that mattered was defeating the Green Hulk.

That alone would let him continue living in style—and earn the honor of being the first to slay a mutant beast. Not a bad deal when you thought about it.

But Su Chen kept firing the Uzi, and still, the monster didn't even flinch.

Its armor was ridiculously thick. His bullets might as well have been mosquito bites.

"What now?! What do I do?!"

The recoil from the Uzi was intense, and Su Chen's shoulder was already throbbing in pain.

Hurt the enemy by a hundred, hurt yourself by a thousand. What a terrible trade-off.

"Wait... I got it!"

Suddenly, a light bulb went off in Su Chen's mind.

The giant spider had been afraid of fire. Maybe it was the same for this guy. Worth a shot.

He quickly grabbed the flamethrower and aimed it at the Green Hulk.

There was no time to chicken out now. It was all or nothing.

The flamethrower dealt chemical damage—much stronger than bullets.

As soon as he pressed the trigger, a roaring torrent of flames shot forward—fast enough to rival bullets in speed, and far more intense in impact.

FSSHHHH.

The Green Hulk's hand recoiled from the searing heat. It took a step back.

Su Chen's eyes lit up. It worked!

He kept spraying the flames at it, and with a pained howl, the Green Hulk finally collapsed to the ground.

Apparently, this was his real trump card.

So that twitching left eye wasn't lying after all—there was a glimmer of victory.

But now a new problem emerged.

Even though the flamethrower had massive power, it wasn't enough to kill the Green Hulk. And if he didn't kill it, he wouldn't get the god-tier skill.

That would be such a waste. After all, the real prize was that god-tier reward.

"Damn, I almost forgot about my ultimate weapon!"

Su Chen suddenly remembered the timed explosive device he had found earlier. That thing was practically a mini nuke—he just hadn't had a good opportunity to use it.

He nearly left it to collect dust. What a crime!

Su Chen pulled out the long-stashed time grenade and tossed it next to the fallen Green Hulk. The detonator was already in his hand.

But now wasn't the time to press it.

First, he needed to drive his RV to a safe distance.

Only then could he hit that button.
