With a long history, just the recorded genealogy can be traced back a thousand years. Of course, over the millennia, the Lin clan has branched out into many sideline branches, but this branch at the Divine Sword Manor is the main lineage.
Under the main lineage, there are eight branches. Apart from the first branch, there are seven other branches. Although each family bears the Lin surname, even the blood relationship has stretched beyond five generations.
Lin Xiong and Lin Ao are from the third branch. The current head of the third branch is from the generation of their grandfathers and is also the Supreme Elder of the manor, holding a prestigious position, ranking highly in strength among the eight branches of the Lin family.
Yet, the most critical aspect of the rise and fall of a family is the next generation. The third branch, compared to the other branches, is quite prosperous in terms of offspring.
