Chapter 12 - Legions of the gods 10: This is not the end.

In Hel…

Dante and King Hrolf, duking it out. Hrolf swings his scythe down on him. And Dante hops onto the flagpole clinging onto it. "Hey, I know you've faced bigger guys then me in your previous life. But I'm not one of them." he lunges off of it. Clinging onto its back. Covering its head. And the beserkers roars. "A nobody shouldn't be near my presence!" He blasts him back with Bifröst. Sending him back. Grunting. "If that's how you say it…" Dante groans. The beserker lunging at him. But before he can swing his scythe. Dante grabs onto the edge of the ship and twists and spins perfectly into a two footed kick. Putting space in between him and the beserker.

Dante rolls forward. He slides past him as he gets the rope between its legs. Wrapping it around one leg. And runs up the flag pole to put it over his shoulder. Lands back on the ground and yanks it. Getting Hrolf on his knees. And gives Dante enough space to land a few swings.

"This nobody's gonna kick your butt!" He lands a strong hook to the face with a rush. And then does a spinning roundhouse kick into another punch. But the Beserker grabs his fist. "Damn mortal!" And summons a mace to hit him. But Dante hops backward.

Landing in a super hero pose. Next to the wheel of the ship. "Just cause I am one doesn't mean I won't show up." Dante looks back and above and sees a giant terrifying bitd And realizes the ship is heading to a mountain wall. "That's not good…" he spins the wheel as hard as he can. But the ship doesn't turn hard enough to avoid contact. And is sent flying. But he grabs onto the ship before he's sent way over it. "Argh!!!" And knocks the bird over as well. And angers it. And the bird flies off of the mountain and at the ship. "Oh cmon…"  and time slowly down as it blurs in speed and flies straight through it. Grabbing the Beserker and destroying the upper body of the ship as Dante prepares to take Damage. And immediately gets up as he clenches his fists. And narrowed his eyes in focus. "You gotta be kidding me. I'm not bird food either!" And the bird snatches him into its mouth. And Dante uses his hands to brute strength it and avoid being crushed by its beak as it squawks as the ship falls into the endless abyss. "Let… go!!" He grunts. But he's slammed into a mountain wall.

The next day in the morning, after the eventful yesterday. Heimdall. Was spiraling down the stairs. A plate of food. And he went to where he put the Athena legionnaires. And he whistled as he knocked on the bars. And the only one awake inside the bars. Was Yumi. Giving her the je plate of food. Clearing his throat.

"Enjoy." Heimdall did a chef kiss. "My favorite." Yumi stared at him.

She was still tied. couldn't eat. She looked down. And right back at him. "You… are not."

she then spat at him. And he dodged just narrowly with a tilt of his head. He stood frozen for a few seconds. Narrowing his eyes. "Wow." he crouched. Trying to get to her eye level. Then softening as he tilts his head. "Are you trying to tick me off?" he mocked with a grin. But Yumi didn't budge. And Heimdall put a hand on his cheek as his elbow laid on his knee. "So much for Samurai Honor... You have the mannerisms of a demon."

Yumi leaned her head back against Thorne's sleeping back. Her eyes looking down at Heimdall. "Only when I fight gods like you."

Heimdall smirked. "Hm." He dusted his shoulder off. "Suit yourself." He turned back. "Time's the one ticking." He glanced with his eye. "The All-Father awaits all of you."

"Unfortunately," Mimir dropped from the stair case. "That isn't the case." He walked forward. And Yumi seemed surprised. And Heimdall's eyes glanced towards him. His head still stuck in a sideways direction. "….What?" His head fully faced Mimir. And he gritted his teeth. And Mimir walked passed him. "Odin's decision. Not mine."

"Oh… No." Heimdall furrowed his eyebrows with a smirk. clenching his fists. "You can't be serious…" he chuckled mid talk. Walking toward him. And tapping at his chest with his index and pointing right at his chin. "Do you understand where I'm coming from? I am not messing around. With my life, I swear I will—"

"Your threat has no value…" Mimir pushed him. "You wouldn't do a thing, little brother. You know how much this means to your father." Like Mimir said. He only huffs and scrunches his nose. As Mimir opens the lock. Getting Behind Yumi. "Well… since your friends are asleep. You're first."

"Where are you taking me?" Yumi glanced back with her head to the side. And Mimir whispered. "To Safety."

Mimir closed the steel door which makes a loud sound. Locking it. Yumi still cuffed but Mimir is behind her. And looks over at Heimdall. "How about you make yourself useful, hm?" Heimdall turns around staring. And sees them spiraling up. gritting his teeth. "Damn you…"

The two are out of the prison camp and are at the great lodge. Bustling with sound to replace their silence. And Mimir asks one of the people "Excuse me." While Yumi changes the silent mood. "You don't fit with your people."

"Ha. Glad I'm not the only one to notice that…" he held her by her cuffs a few of the warriors stare at her. Some in disdain, some in fear. "Sorry I didn't ask, sister. But by any chance are you… good at chores?"

"What?" She looks back confused.

"That needs some context, doesn't it?" Mimir said with a sheepish look on his face.

Yumi followed.

"Eh…." Yumi tucked her hands between her legs. She was in a maid dress, a little flustered. But the woman that made Lina's dress laughed. "Don't be shy! You look great." The female dwarf smiled. Pulling the hem of Yumi's outfit. "Of course. I'm just… not used to being so feminine."

The female Dwarf waved from outside the workshop. And Mimir appeared. And he didn't say anything for a moment. As Yumi hilariously spun. "How do I look?"

"Out of identity," Mimir put his hands on his hips. "But you fit the uniform." And Yumi walked behind him. "I take that as Yes?" She tilted her head. And he nods. "Aye."

The two arrived at the palace. Yumi glanced up to the ceiling. And with Heimdall protecting the gate. And Heimdall's eye slightly twitched at the site of the two as he sighed. "By all means… Come in. The brat is waiting for you."

Hilariously enough. Lina is waiting with a cute smile on her face. And her smile widens when the gates opens to reveal Yumi. And she laughs as she dashes over to her. "Yumi!" She hugged her tightly. To Yumi's surprise but hugged her back. And Yumi put her hands on her arms. "It's good to see you." She smiled.

Heimdall narrowed his eyes. And he looked over at Mimir watching as the two girls talked. Mimir never seen Lina so happy. And it made him smile. So happy… it made him confused. He turned his head back. Looking down at his hand. And Heimdall just stared at him. Eyes wide. "No." He breaks Mimir's silence. "No, no, no. You can't be serious." Heimdall clenched his fist. Raising it to his chest. "I was right from the start. You are a disgrace to the Aesir. A god full of lies." And Mimir was furious. "What are you talking about?." He clenched his fist. He grit his teeth. It was almost rebellious. Which surprised Heimdall. But he smirked.  "If this sparked because of that little brat. I assure you. With my fury, I will beat her to a bloody pulp." He pointed at Lina. And Yumi looked back.

"You'll be making a big mistake, Heimdall." Mimir tilted his head. And Heimdall smirked. "I'll be the judge of that."  He walks away walking backwards. And then stares at Lina as he walks by. And Yumi looks over and back to Lina. Who also looked at Heimdall. "What's with him?" Yumi held Lina's hands. And she sighed. "Beats me."

Lina hears footsteps. And it's her father. "Ah."  Farbauti. Put a hand on Lina's shoulder. And stood his hand out. "You must be…"

"Yumi Tachibana." She shakes his hand. And he smiled. "Mm. And what intentions do you have with my daughter?" Yumi nodded down.

"To walk her to respect." Her grip tightened on his hand. But he pulled back with a chuckle. "You got a good fire. But don't spread it."

He looked back at Lina. "Don't forget," And walked off with a pat on the shoulder. "The Party is in a few hours."

"He doesn't have any shame…" Yumi whispered as he disappeared from frame. Lina tilted her head. putting a hand on her own neck. "You'll get used to it." she sighed. And Yumi looked at Lina. "I wonder what Dante is doing."

"Argh!!" Dante gets slammed side to side into a narrow space in between two cliffs. And the bird spins upside down as Dante struggles to get out of its beak. His coat stuck. "C'mon, birdy. I didn't sign up for this!" He grabs onto its beak. And pokes its eye out with a punch which leaves it squawking. And sends Dante flying into a wall. "Woah! Wahhh!" Slamming like a meteor with a crater into it. And moans in pain as he lands. But before he can see what's in front of his eyes. The bird flies at an incredible speed at Dante and open its beak and crashes him through the mountain wall. Dante's foot and strength working overtime to not get crushed. And then hops on top it's beak. However his arm is stuck. "Ow!"

"Let it Go..!" He stomps on its head as he lies down on its beak. The bird can't see due to Dante and plunges straight down with its head down to strike him. And he's shocked to find he's about to meet himself into the river of souls of Hel. He rolls backwards off its beak and is held by the arm on birds beak. Holding his his own wrist as he prepares for his fate. The bird Making sure Dante would be grabbed by the souls. And Dante kicks at them with each one coming in to grab Dante's feet. But Dante grabs onto its beak with his other hand. "Alright, green bird," He knees the bird in the beak. Reering its head back with the force he had. It let go of him and he takes advantage, getting on top of its head. And the bird flies up high. Trying to make sure Dante falls. But he grabs onto its feathers as it goes upside down. "Well. I need a plan…"  And then dives down. "And real fast!" he grabs onto its wings. "I guess this is the plan…!" Forcefully pulling them up. Using his strength. Gliding past the river of souls. And sees the temple. "That's my signal! Hey, birdy. Let's give you some spice." He runs off of its body and jumps off its head.Landing an acrobatic twist and launches a hellblaze to the face of the bird from his hand that sends the bird squawking in pain. Dante looks back as he dives down forward. "And… stay down!" He does a front flip and gets ready to crash through the ceiling as he braces himself. And slams through the temple. Landing on his feet but tripping as he was going to fast. And falls. Panting, his chest rising. He closes his eyes. Sighing.  "Please stay down…"

Meanwhile…

Mimir unlocks the door to the Athena legion prison cell. Where the rest of them are. And this time. Atleast some of them are awake. Except Lili and Kragur. And they stare at him. With Thorne speaking up. "It's that time?"

Mimir clears his throat. Waiting for the others to wake up. And Thorne shoves Lili with his shoulder while Kragur is woken up by Elda. And Mimir speaks again. "Not that type of time."

Time later…

"Are you messing with us?" Thorne tilted his head. And Mimir nodded. His head down but his eyes looking up. "Unfortunately, I'm not, Brother." He said as he got more comfortable. Crossing his legs. His hand on the concrete ground.

"Even I don't know how Heimdall hasn't foreseen this. You'd expect the god of foresight to see through this." Mimir put a hand on his chin.

"Apparently not." Thorne sighed. While Kragur was devouring the food that Heimdall had left. And Mimir stared at Kragur.

"… What?" The Dwarf responded. Raising an eyebrow. While the entirety of the Athena legion stared as well. And he looked around with the bowl in his hand. "Well, are we gonna fucking talk?"

Mimir tossed him three glowing stones, just like the several ones he has at the temple. One had runes similar to the one "We shouldn't have to." Mimir smiled lightly. While Kragur dropped his bowl of food to receive it. While Elda stared at it and looked back to Mimir as well. "You two Dwarves should get home." Mimir looked at Lili. Who was awfully silent the whole time. "And the other stone is for you too, little sister." Mimir let her know and Kragur threw the left over one to her. But Kragur was confused. Looking at the second he had. "And what's this one for?" He inspected it. "You'll know who to give it to in case he's still alive."

"Huh," He put that one specifically in his pocket. "Guess we'll be off." And Mimir smirked. "Even gods gamble, brother. I'm sick and tired of everything I've gone through with the Aesir, I might as well call it off by helping ya bunch."

"Thanks." Thorne nodded with a smile of his own.

"We'll be seeing yall." Kragur closed his eyes. And Elda and Lili got close. As they then vanished. Now It was just Thorne and Mimir.

"I'll be in the consequences of you soon." Mimir got up. "Make them the worst."

Thorne chuckled. "You're a crazy old man."

Mimir locked his door. got out of the prison camp. And Sighed. A serious look on his face. "I've made it this far, there's no stopping from here." And he continued walking. But Heimdall was silently leaning beside the door to the prison camp. "You don't know that." He muttered, furrowing his eyebrows. A cold look on his face. And walked away too.

Meanwhile…

Dante opens the gate to the temple. Getting into the main room. Looking around for a second. And He goes to the book section the other, snatching a book. Skipping through it. Until he reads something about Heimdall with a Heimdall sketch on it. And he puts it on the desk. His hands against the desk and leans forward as he reads through it. Reading through the book. And He looks up. Looking around at Kragur's craftsman ship, "Your responsibilities sure are big, Heimdall." He put his hand on the desk as he stands properly. "But now they're going under my belt."

But before anything happens. The doors open. And it's Kragur, Elda, and Lili. "Dante!" Lili ran over to her big brother. Giving him a tight hug on the waist. And he gives it back. Kneeling to get closer to her height. "Lili?" But confused. He pulled back. Putting his hands on her shoulders. "How're you here?" He raised an eyebrow. And Lili scratched her nose. "Thanks to Mimir. The Aesir are having…. Family problems."

"Aesir against another Aesir?" Dante got up. Lili fidgeted. with her fingers. "Eh… Sorta…?"

"Sounds like Odin's influenced is off the family branch." He put a hand on his chin. Before turning back with his Jaw clenched with new purpose. "I can help with that."

"And You got company on it." Kragur and Elda also came out. And Dante was surprised but let out a slight chuckle. A subtle grin on his face. "You too?"

"Of course, ya snowflake. Things over there are getting fuzzier than a huldra."

"It's about time." Dante smirked lightly. And Kragur stared at the Crafting table. "Also, what in Hel are you doing near my crafting table, you—"

"Wait, wait, don't tell me—" Dante interrupted him. A knowing look on his face. "I'm an idiot for even thinking of crafting something without your permission." A look of humility and embarrassment on his face. Half mocking, half sincere.

And Kragur stared daggers. "Repeat that to yourself, dingus." Elda nodded. "We've got everything you need, Dante." She smiled. And Dante nodded with his own. "Great." He smirked. While Lili waved. "I'll see you home."

Dante gestured a salute. And turned back to the Dwarves. "Let's blind a watchman."

The forge blazes red-hot. Shadows dance across stone walls carved by ancient hands. Kragur stands still for a moment — eyes narrowed, frame unmoving — as if the flames are whispering the shape of destiny to him.

The sound of molten metal hissing. Kragur pulls a glowing ingot from the furnace with tongs. He lays it on the anvil. A storm of sparks explodes as the first hammer strike lands — echoing like thunder.

Sheets of obsidian-black alloy cool in sacred waters. Red streaks pulse beneath the surface like veins of fire, awakening with every ripple.

Elda delicately traces the edges of the chestplate with runes that shimmer crimson. The symbols light up, searing into the armor with divine precision.

The black long-sleeve shirt is laid out across an obsidian slab — sleek, skin-tight, woven with enchanted fibers. It catches the forge light with a dull glint, like smoke given form.

Kragur drills in reinforced linings at the knees. The armor bends but never breaks. The red ridges along the trim gleam like embers in twilight.

Gloves — black, sharp, seamless. He tests their grip by crushing a metal shard. It crumbles like ash.

Brown boots rest atop a dwarven pedestal. Kragur coats the soles with dragon-hide and steel. When slammed to the ground, they leave cracks in the stone.

The pieces are assembled — chest, gloves, armor, boots. A masterpiece of lightness and strength. A storm made wearable.

While this goes on. Lili teleports to Elyngard. Looki by behind at the cityscape of Elyngard from the mountain where the Athena legion lives. She smiles. And turns back to see Athena with her arms crossed and a little smile on her face. And Lili grinned. But her grin turned slowly into tears of joy and relief as she hugged Athena tightly. "You missed me." She put a hand behind Lili's head. As Lili buried her face over her shoulder. "Yeah…"

"You're safe with me." Athena cupped her cheeks as she kneeled. "Where are the others?" Lili held Athena's cupping hand. "They're gonna fight Heimdall." Athena stared at Lili for a few seconds. In concern of her words. But held her back. "They'll be back."

Dante steps into frame. Boots strapped on. Chestplate locked in. His skin tight black suit under it all. Each movement is steady. Focused. His past peeled away with every layer.

The knee armor was the final click echoes through the forge like a war drum.

Dante stands still, fully armored. The streaks of red across his armor frame flicker like lightning beneath a midnight sky. He lifts his gaze toward the forge fire. The shadows flee. And he looks at his gloved hand. Clenching his fist.

Behind him, Kragur and Elda watch — unmoving. A weapon has been forged. Not of steel… but of purpose. "You're wearing our choice. You break it. I break you." Kragur crossed his arms. And Dante turned back. His chest puffed with pride. "Gladly."

"The leather is made of dragon hide and the armor is made from Aesir steel." Elda sat down on the crafting table. Her legs dangling. And Dante grinned with a chuckle. "Hm. For the legion." He says as he sticks his fist out. And the two Dwarves look at each other. Kragur sighed and accepted Elda's enthusiasm. And the three fist bump. "Let's get this show on the road." Dante rolled his shoulders. But Kragur stayed silent and Looked at Elsa. "Uh… Right. Before that…" Dante slowly turned to the side. Before fully turning back.

"…Before what exactly?" Dante tilted his head.

Back at Asgard…

Mimir entered the gates of the Everhart palace. And didn't even look at Heimdall. Who just tilted his head with a confused but annoyed look on his face. "What exactly are you doing here?" And Mimir stopped to look back. Without turning around.

"You should know what I'm doing here, lad." He said before then turning around to continue moving going to the left and disappearing. And Heimdall didn't say anything. But smirked. "Great answer."

As he walked through the hall. He was met by Farbauti. "Excuse me, what are you doing in my house?"

Mimir replied calmly. "Sorry, The All-Father has a word with Lina." And tried to walk past Farbauti with his head down.

Farbauti put a hand on Mimir's chest to stop him. "Don't lie to me." And pushed him back. "What are you going to do?"

"I have to talk to Lina about what she'll do at the party. She is going to be introduced to the Aesir, after all."

"What?" Fabauti looked at him funny. And laughed loudly . "Ha! Get the fuck out of here." He snickers at the end of it. And stared into his eyes when Mimir was being serious. "You gotta be kidding me. She's not doing this. Not under the All-Father.

Mimir took a step forward. Tilting his head ominously. "Odin isn't coming if that comforts you. But his ravens will. But Just so you know… I inform him." Mimir leaned forward. Before walking past Farbauti. Without looking back. He's saying. "just a word, brother."

Farbauti peeked at the corner of the hallway. A frustrated look on his face. A voice talked out to Farbauti. "That's the man you're letting take over?" Heimdall's face was dark as he was peeking from the gate. Only his snowy blue eyes glowing.

The two girls, Lina and Yumi were in the closet. With Yumi giving opinion on Lina's dresses. "This is the 4th one, correct?" Yumi hilariously had a note pad.

"Yup…" Lina was putting her hair up in a pony tail. And she turned around. Posing. "How do I look?" She said. She was in a white dress. She had matching pearls on her ears.

Yumi smirked and chuckled. "You look like a wedding cake." Lina scoffed in mock offense. "A elegant wedding cake."

Yumi gestured to Lina with the pen. "What do you think?"

Lina looked at herself as she spinned. "Is it too much?" She looked at her back. "I like it."

"That's what matters." She got done writing the note pad. And looked over to the female Dwarf. "She'll. Take this one. And here's what she'd want next time." She gave her the pen and notepad. And the female Dwarf nodded and went off.

Knocking on the door was heard. Yumi looked back. "Come in." She opened the door. It was Mimir. "Ah… How's the princess doing?"

Yumi moved out of the way to show Lina with a smile. In her full form. And Mimir grinned and chuckled. "Beautiful dress for a beautiful lady. How fitting."

"I hope so…" she said sheepishly. Mimir closed the door. "We need to talk. I discussed something with your team."

"What are you talking about?" Yumi furrowed her brows.

Meanwhile, Heimdall was hearing. But he rolled his eyes with disdain and walked with it to the hallway. To seeing the palaces living room getting decorated with lights and more lights. Each for the coming Aesir. And people were setting up. With Farbauti taking a swig in the corner of the palace. Knees tucked with concern. And Heimdall smirked as he went up to him.

"You know," Heimdall spoke. Making Farbauti look up. "Your daughter is planning to leave you. Are you really drinking to that?"

"What..?" Farbauti looked concerned. And Heimdall rolled his eyes. "You are a imbecile. Maybe that's why if you and your daughter try anything… I just might kill the both of you." Heimdall walked backwards. And bowed. While Farbauti got up. And looked at him with wide eyes. And angry as he took another swig.

A few hours later…

The Palace is filled with people. And the vibe goes well with beautiful golden dim lights. It was very loud inside. But the loudest were the Aesir.

Modi was dying of laughter with a par of girls. Putting a hand on one of their shoulders. And one gave an ick to him. But he was to busy drinking ale. While Magni watched with annoyance of his brother, while he himself had a damsel holding his arm. Meanwhile, Heimdall and Mimir were watching each other. Mimir was talking to people. And from in between two people. Looked over at Heimdall. Who was crossed legged. Drinking too. Staring at him back with wide eyes. While Sif tapped him on his arm. "Mimir," Sif glared. "Where is my husband?"

"Probably not drinking." Mimir looked away. Avoiding Sif's death glare. "Be serious, Mimir." Mimir twisted his head. "Listen, I. have. No idea. He isn't my husband."

Meanwhile Lina appears in the middle of the hallway

She stood still. While her Father grabbed the microphone. "Well… Welcome to my palace. My name is Alexis. I see all of you are enjoying a drink. There's a reason I couldn't bring more Ale… It was expensive." The crowd chuckled. "I'm proud of everything I built. Because of one person. My daughter." He puts a hand on his chest. "She's my everything. I taught her everything I know. And she's just as beautiful as she is knowledgeable."

"I present to you, My daughter."

She appears in front of the crowd of people. A smile on her face. And Farbauti kisses her on the cheek. "You look gorgeous. Open yourself." He says to the mic which leaves Lina with a bitter look on her face. But after hesitating. She takes it. And stares at the crowd and Modi is already laughing. "Isn't she shy?" He shoves Magni. "Eh?" And Magni shoved him back silently. While Heimdall death glares at Modi. "I will rip your hair out of your scalp." Meanwhile. Lina speaks her first words.

"I can't." Which leaves everyone silent. "My name is Lina Everhart. And I was never taught to." She turned back at her father with a serious look. And everyone was muttering in the crowd. While Farbauti looked confused but tried to look Educated. "What are you talking about Lina…?" He smiled as warmly as he can. While Heimdall's eye was twitching.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about. I didn't know anything outside of Asgard, until I found Dante Koryu and his legion. That I couldn't wrap my head around the idea of what doing what's right or what's right." She furrowed her nose in fury. The crowd gasped.

"Oh, Lina…" Mimir looked concerned.

"Who's that?" Modi raised an eyebrow. Magni titled his head up as he watched the drama. "The captain of the Athena Legion. public enemy number 1."

"I was gonna be nice today and introduce you to me." She looked at the crowd. "But you don't deserve any of that." She spun back to her father. "You deserve the truth."

"And the truth is…" Lina pointed at him. "He isn't who you think he is."

Farbauti stared at Lina with his jaw open. "His name isn't even Alexis. His name is Farbauti." The entire room gasped. And Sif raised her hand. "As in the Jötunn?" Farbauti got angry. He clenched his fist. Gritting his teeth. "Lina…" he said dangerously low. And Modi was dying of laughter. "I have no idea. Behind the Aesir he talks back. But is a coward in front of them."

"For most of my life. I've been living under his roof. But now is when I don't want to. Only the gods know his sins at what'll come to me. Maybe that's why I never got to read books outside of this region." She glares at her father. "That's why I want my own image."

Heimdall snarled and growled as he watched. "What the fuck is she doing…?" Lina looked at her dad furious. "And I'll stick with it until I die—"

Farbauti slaps her so hard she shrieks. And Heimdall gets furious with his eyes wide. And Yumi is shocked but gets in front of her.

"I dare you." Yumi threatens Farbauti. And Farbauti yells loudly through. "Bitch! What didn't I give you!? When you came into my life. Your mother died giving birth! I gave you everything!"

Meanwhile. Lina is on her knees. Her cheek is red. Her hair is messy now. She pants. And she starts crying. And Modi died of laughter. "she's rebellious! I like that." While the entire room was speaking loudly. But she spoke out to Yumi silently. "Move." Yumi looked concerned. But she didn't hesitate either. "That's why I can never do anything." She got up. "That's why I can't find anything real. Anything that isn't a lie." Her voice rose. "I just want—" she rips her dress. "The Truth!" "I'm not your daughter. I am not your weapon. I am free."

She walked away. "I'm done." And she went to her room. While the entire room was with silence. And Farbauti was silenced and vulnerable yelled at everyone. "Enough! I want everyone out!"

Lina dashed to her door and threw herself into bed. Shoving her face into her pillow as she sobs. Yumi comes in. And puts a hand on her back. Rubbing her back. "It's okay. We'll be well." She shifted uncomfortably with her tears. Yumi turned back. And Saw Heimdall staring at them through the room. But Yumi kicked the door shut. "Lina. It's not your fault…"  She moves around. Sniffling and her chest rising up and down. Sobbing with her eyes closed. "It hurts…"

"Please. Wait until tomorrow…. I'll be near the room." She looked at her friend in concern. But she closed the door. And looked for Heimdall.

Lina tries to calms down. Wiping her face. and she slowly breathes. Up and down… for a few seconds. It works. And she goes to sleep. Suddenly, she wakes up on the dirt. She looks at the pink sky. Blinking and furrowing her eyes. And she wipes her eyes as she gets up slowly. She hears words coming from someone. "Well… what're our options?" And she sees a boat with two people passing by. Leaving her curious. She hides behind a huge piece of rock.

The man chuckled. And the woman giggled she looked just like Lina but older. "I was thinking… Loki."

"And if it's a girl?" The man stared at her stomach.

She was caressing her swollen stomach. Pregnant. "I… don't know."

"I got one. Lina." The man grinned and she laughed. "I love that one." The two went in silence as Lina catched up to them. Hiding again.

"…When she comes out, you do know you will have to speak to her, right?" The woman spoke first. Looking at the man's face.

"Everything I say wouldn't be good, Laufey." He looked down as he paddled the boat. And Laufey sighed and facepalmed herself. "Farbauti, This is our child. We put her here for a reason. And sooner or later, she will find out." She clenched her hand on her stomach.

"What if she doesn't have me to take care of her?" She looked fiercely into the eyes of her husband. "The other giants are dead, but we'll be left to be judged if we don't tell the truth. Do you not understand that?" Laufey looked at her husband in concern.

"Don't say that, Laufey." Farbauti looked bitter. And Laufey got more frustrated. "But it's true!"

"How do we tell her…we're giants?" Farbauti put a hand on his cheek. "How do we tell her. We're the last of our kind. We got captured to our biggest enemy. And we live fake lives, because Odin sees something special in our child."

"Then we tell her the truth—every ugly, painful piece of it."

She caresses her belly gently.

"Because if we lie to her… she'll grow up thinking she's broken. She'll think she's the reason we were hunted. The reason you won't look her in the eye."

She turns to face Farbauti fully, her voice trembling but firm.

"But she's not. She's hope, Farbauti. Our hope. Not Odin's."

A soft pause. The water ripples.

"If we pretend we're not giants, then we're teaching her to be ashamed of where she comes from. I won't let her inherit our silence." She put her hand out to her husband. And Farbauti smiled.

"Hmph." He held her hand. "Way to go, Maribelle." He said teasingly

Laufey laughed. "I'm glad, Alexis."

"What? What is she talking about?" Lina exposed herself to the couple. "What are you-" but before she can do anything they faded away. And the world around her started disappearing. And she was frightened. "No! Wait!!" The world around her started making a loud noise. "Argh!!!" She closed her ears and tucked herself in. And she stood up in bed immediately. It was only an alarm. But she looked at the door. "Where's my dad?"

She busted through the door. "Dad!?" Her dad was sitting on the table. Drinking again. "Dad!"

"… What do you want?" Farbauti asked. A dead look in his eyes. He only side glanced his daughter. "Dad… I'm so sorry. I didn't… I couldn't know a thing of what you did to have me." She looked up at her dad.

"I didn't mean to ruin you in front of them. But I needed to speak. To say something for once."

He stares at Lina coldly. "You think your voice changes anything?"

"Not for them. But for me. For us." She put a hand on her chest.

Farbauti breathes in hard through his nose. Then slams the cup down. Not violent. Just… defeated.

"You don't know what it cost to keep you hidden. What it took to build a life that Odin would let exist. You think I wanted you to live as a ghost?" He tilted his head back. She responded back.

"No… I know. I saw her."

He looks up. Surprised. "What're you talking about?"

Lina put a hand on her dads leg. "She wanted you to let me be proud."

Farbauti pushes the cup away. Gets up. Pacing slowly, like his whole body hurts. "She wanted a better world. But she died believing in it."

Lina grabbed her dad by the face. Cupping his cheeks. "And you buried her. And yourself."

A pause.

Lina looks at him—not with anger, but something sadder. "And me."

Farbauti flinches at that. He looks away. Maybe tears in his eyes. Maybe not. He speaks in a small voice. "You sound just like her.." Lina put her forward against his. "Then let me be her legacy. Not her shadow."

Farbauti finally meets her eyes.

And for the first time… he sees her. Not as a girl to protect. But as a woman choosing her path.

He doesn't say another word. "I think it's time you know… The truth."

"Not Long ago… we were living in Jotunheim. I was a teenager. We had already lost Ymir, the god of the giants. who's final breath frosted Niflheim. And Surtr disappeared. And a lot of the others died too because of Odin. But it was only a few of us. And in that bunch. I met your mother."

"And we learned together… it was wonderful. It was nice to have someone who… teached me to be myself then somebody else. And this led to a problem. We hated the giants. And we had you in your mothers stomach. And we both didn't want neither of you to be in the environment we were in. Which caused conflict… so we left. And while you were in her stomach. We traveled the realms."

"She couldn't stop talking about you and me… how id need to step up. But I was too scared. And it wasn't Until we got to Asgard…. Thor came to us near Hrimthur's wall. And was gonna kill us, since he was on a killing streak on our people. Until Odin came to stop him… he wanted no fighting. Just to be free. And said we had something special in our hands. But since we had bad blood and we didn't want to."

"We accepted It. But wasn't our choice. It was his. He gave us a fake identity. Instead of Farbauti and Laufey. It was Alexis and Maribelle Everhart. And the watchman as our guardian. But it felt anything but Guarded. Unfortunately, I didn't take my wife's words seriously. I'd thought she lived. But she knew she wouldn't. So when she told she wanted me to keep you away from Odin as her last wish…" he bit his lip. And tears came in the corner of his eyes. " I didn't know what to do with myself. And instead of putting you first. I put myself. And I hurt you…"

"Oh, dad…" Lina teared up to. "I'm so sorry…"

"It's okay." He cups her cheeks. "Your mother said that no matter what happens. We're still family." Lina puts a hand on her fathers hand. And smiles. "Yeah…"

"But now what?" Farbauti asked. "Weren't you—"

"It's fine. They'll take us both to Elyngard." She presses her forehead against her fathers. "A new home."

"I take it you got along?" Yumi appeared. And the two looked to see her. And Lina nodded. "Yeah." Yumi smiled. "Good."

"Not for long…" Heimdall comes in through the shadows. And Farbauti hugs Lina Tightly to shield her from a stab from Heimdall… in which ends up in his back. And the golden sword, Hofund. poking out through the chest. Which leaves Farbauti gasping. And he coughs out blood. Blood on the corner of his mouth and from his eyes. Grabbing onto the sword as he gurgles. And Lina's eyes widen in shock and fear. As she sees her dress spilled in his blood. She falls back on her back. Looking at her hands. And she lets out a guttural scream. "Nooo!!!"

And Heimdall puts his foot on Farbauti's back and rips the sword out. "Well, well, well, at least your mother isn't alone… you can go with them too, you know." He grins. And she can only watch with tears in her eyes. And Yumi comes in to get in front of Heimdall before anything escalates. And roars as she blurs in speed to annihilate Heimdall's head off. Heimdall only laughs. But he only steps back. Staring at her. "Don't worry, I won't leave you out. Everyone can get a bit of this." He raises his hand. And blasts Bifröst at Yumi. But she disappears from any sight. And then when she comes behind him. He backslaps her. Crashing her into a wall. And Heimdall looked back and took his precious time to smile cutely at Lina.

"I mean… I did warn you. But you didn't listen. The plans? I heard them before they came out. When I saw the look on that… Disgusting patch of bald. I knew it. I knew it all." His eyes widened. As he smirked. "But you couldn't pay attention. Not to me. Not to anyone. Because you thought I'd sit it out. Wrong. I didn't move cause I wanted to. I watched it because it was my. Fate."

"But it looks like I've found my audience."

Heimdall kicked Lina Before she could act and pressed his foot against her throat as she lied on her back. He scrapped his bloody golden sword on the ground. And Leaned forward to her face. Putting it to her throat with the widest grin on his face. "!7( you've just came… too… late…"

"Fuck…." Lina grabs Heimdall's foot as she grits her teeth. But her eyes glow red and Heimdall looks confused. But a aura of pink blows Heimdall off of her. "You!!!"

Heimdall ragdolls violently. Groaning. And he looks up furiously. Gritting his teeth too. But his eyes widened with his mouth opened as he sees Lina floating in front of her. And every single piece of debris around the house floats around her almost like a Saturn ring. And she herself is a pink galaxy in the shape of a woman. "I'm tired of you. Your monologues. And your Prescence!" She yells. And she sticks her hand out from the distance. And without even touching him drags him on his knees to her. "I can see…. Everything!" She says as Heimdall starts to choke as she clenches her hand to a fist. And Heimdall grabs his own throat as he looks in fear for his first time in his life. "I can see every. Atom."

"But I still see you…" her hand shakes as Heimdall starts to almost gurgle. And she continues "I want you to apologize to him. When you see him!"

Heimdall stares at her and she continues to squeeze. His eyes are almost about to roll back. But before she can actually finishes him off. She… passes out. And Heimdall gasps for air. And he stares at her unconscious body. And he furrows his eyebrows. "You—"

But before he can say anything. A spear pierces the wall. And then another. Another, and then a hundred fill the door. Before it detonates. Destroying the wall into pieces and shattering that's glass around him. Leaving the palace in dark. And it's Thorne. And he looks at the crater in the wall that isn't there anymore. And looks at the father and daughter duo together. Fallen. And Thorne walks in to the palace. "You gotta be kidding me. This was your doing?

Heimdall grabbed his throat. But smirked. "Every act of divinity, ends in sacrifice. My piece."

"You mean the one you'll be ripped off of." Thorne's ring glows golden as the spear summons in his hand and uses as a walking stick.

"I don't believe in that."  Heimdall licks his teeth and grins. "Let's make space!" He blurs in speed as he tries to shoulder bash Thorne. But Thorne activates his shield and parries him back. Sliding in his feet but his eyes widened as he hears a voice.

"Behind you!" And he spins around to see Yumi crouched with her Katana engulfed in lightning. Ready to unleash a slash but Heimdall clashes his foot against her Katana. Making a thunder clap. "You make me giggle!" Heimdall kicks her upwards in the face. Making her bounce against the wall behind her. Before throwing her to Thorne. Who catches her. "Yumi!" Thorne puts her down. And Yumi kneeled for a moment . "You were the one gurgling…" she wipes her face. Unsheathing her Katana and twirling it into stance.

"But you only peeked." Heimdall smiled. Heimdall whistled. And his gulltoppr flew past the door and slammed both of the legionnaires flying through the wall Behind Heimdall as it shows the huge backyard of the Everhart palace. Perfect for a fight.

As Thorne is getting sent back. He sees again the incoming gulltoppr again but he clashes his shield against it. And he grabs his axe from behind his back . And Slams it into the beasts chin. Scraping it. Before cutting its head off. And it drops to the side.

"Not this time." Thorne assures himself. And Heimdall scoffs as he blurs in speed. "Fine. You and me then..." As he kicks the beast as it vanishes into the after life. As the two legionnaires prepare to fight.

"Who's first?" Heimdall swinged his sword horizontally from a distance letting the wind cleanse his blade as he sheathes it in. Resting his hand on the hilt.

Meanwhile. Dante was holding Lina's unconscious body. He put her somewhere safe in the destroyed hall. "Only for awhile," He whispered.

And then behind heimdall He launched into the scene acrobatically with a twist in the air and landing heroically in front of him. With his friends alongside.

"Give up, Heimdall. We know your games." Dante glared. And Heimdall grinned as he looked back. "Oh, great..." Heimdall said sarcastically. "The more, the merrier."

Yumi looked shocked. "Dante!" But Dante warned her forward. "I'm nowhere near the star of show."

"Damn right." Heimdall blessed his word. "Your enemy is still me. By all means…" he turned back and smiled. His arms wide. "Let's get to the finale."
