Chapter 11 - Legions of the Gods chapter 9: Asgard.

"Agh!" Yumi is dropped into a cell. Around one filled with corpses. With Thorne, Kragur, and Elda. All by Heimdall. "Big day, isn't it?" Heimdall asked. One by one wrapping the chains around each of them. "You'll be judged by the all-father for your sins and you'll be executed." He smiled at Thorne. Who only glared. "It was about time someone taught you not to mess with the Aesir." And Heimdall wrapped a chain around the Dwarves. For all of them. He used his foot to push himself against it. And simply wiped his hands. As if he just got done with trash. "Are you proud of yourself?"

"I have more balls then time on me then you'll ever have, You Aesir piece of shit!" Kragur wriggled. Gritting his teeth. And Heimdall only smiled. "Great line. I have a great idea. Tell those exact words to the All-Father. And just maybe he'll cut all of your limbs off and see how long you last." He tilted his head. And Thorne glared. "This isn't the end. Your worst mistake was keeping us alive on the spot." And Heimdall puckered his lips. And looked at his nails. "Well. Those were the all-fathers demands. I am not a shameless hypocrite that victimizes himself for what he's done, I embrace it. And that's Honor." He looked at Yumi. And Yumi rested her head back against the wall. She didn't budge but she glared at him with cold eyes. "And you are a slave to it." And to those words. Heimdall only narrowed his eyes. And soon after rolled his shoulders as he turned back. Closing the metal gate and chuckled. "Isn't that ironic." Heimdall grabbed onto the metal bars of the cell. "Well. I loved the pep-talk," Heimdall put a hand on his cheek. "But I have someone's life to run with. Toodles!" He waved as he disappeared into the storm of Ravens. And Lili huffed as she was behind the two Dwarves. "I just wanna go home…"

The cold water clung to Lina's skin like ice as she surfaced, gasping for breath. Her soaked hair clung to her face, droplets glimmering in the pale dawn light. She blinked against the chill, eyes scanning the shoreline—bare, desolate, and far beyond the protective walls of the fortress.

Her limbs ached, heavy with exhaustion, and her clothes were shredded from the violent plunge. She pushed herself forward, coughing up water, heart pounding—not just from the cold, but from the sinking realization settling like a stone in her chest.

Heimdall had dropped her here.

Outside the wall.

The sanctuary was miles behind her—silent, unreachable. The creeping forest stretched out like a shadowed labyrinth ahead, thick and unforgiving.

Lina's jaw clenched. It wasn't an accident. Heimdall's smirk from earlier echoed in her mind—the calculated cruelty. He hadn't just thrown her away; he had abandoned her to the wilds, to whatever beasts or warriors prowled beyond the gates.

She wiped water from her eyes and forced herself to stand, legs trembling but determined.

"Stupid Heimdall." She gritted her teeth. "He really couldn't put me inside of Hrimthur's wall." She looked up. "Guess it's me again. And where I can express anything and everything!" She had the energy to scream out loud. And Heimdall who was watching above the wall. Eating an apple. Only watched with a look of disdain. "All-Father, give me mercy."

"Thanky you!!" Lina screamed almost as if she heard him. And walked until the endless walk to the wall she didn't even know how she was gonna climb.

A long bit later. She got there. And she passed by a bridge that she looked down at until the last moment. Because she was looking at the bridge of Bifröst from the sky. "So that's how the Norse gods came." And then she looked down at the bridge she was actually taking. And saw Villagers. "Villagers?" Yes. And one was currently over it. And he saw her. It was a blonde young man with a simple mediocre medieval outfit that didn't seem to stand out from the others. And seemed confused. But she waved. "Hi… do you mind?" she said with a crooked smile.

"Oh-oh," he rushed over to her. "What can I help you with?"

"Yeah. Has anyone actually gone through that wall..?" She pointed at it. Looking as casual as possible. And he stared at it. "Eh… no." He scratched his head. Looking back at her, "I did try a few times. And broke my ass…" He chuckled nervously. And she looked at him with a little bit of disdain. "Great…" but she stopped for a minute and raised the question. "But then what are you doing over here?" She said as she got closer to the wall. And the boy walked closer.

"Well… I'm not from up there." He said softly, "This is little Midgard."

"And you're all from Midgard..?" Lina crouched to see everyone from below. And the boy only smiled. "Yup."

"Why here?" She asked. "Oh because the goddess Freya and Odin had a problem. And wanted us far away from her. And so, any midgardian that came with Odin came together and built this for each other." He looked over at Lina. And Lina got up. "That's sweet. They all look like happy folks." She continued to walk. "Can't help but feel bad." And the boy followed her. "What about you?" He asked with his hands out. "I'm Lina Everhart." And his eyes looked like they were to pop out. "What!?"

"Yeah." She glanced to the side. "Don't worry about it. I have nothing to do with anything." And the midgardian flarred his nostrils. "The Everhart's didn't have a child." And Lina stopped. "What?"

"Don't take it from me. I don't know who to trust." He raised his hands defensively. And she continued. "Kay. Thanks, by the way. She walked further and close to the wall. And the Midgardian was awfully quiet. "You're going to climb that thing?"

"I can do it." She reached out for her pocket. Reaching for her cube. That glowed in her hand. Making everything around her radiate. But the boy stemmed his worries. "What if you don't try that… I did it with safety equipment! Here, I'll just—" He stops as a sharp blade launches high into the sky with a rope. "Okay… here it goes.." she held on tight to the rope. Testing its sturdiness to the wall. And it was pretty sturdy. She hooked her feet into Hrimthurs wall. She slipped one of her feet. But confidently took a step to easier platform.

It reminded her of when she was escaping her palace. Using a rope to climb down. She felt guilt. But not sorry. She was there for too long. And she landed purposely on one of the guards. The screams of "Get over here! What're you doing!? The princess is leaving! Call reinforcements!" And she did the exact same thing to climb out of Asgard.

Back to the moment, she got up the wall. And as her hand reached for the edge. She slipped as a rock fell. She looked down and saw the terrifying height that would join her crash. But before she did anything. She was grabbed by a familiar hand. By the wrist.

"Boo." Heimdall smirked. "Aren't you a climber."

"Can you pull me up?" She asked. Grabbing onto his hand with her other hand.

"No… I don't think I will." He tilted his head. Biting into his apple. "Why should I? After all. You called me plenty of insults. I should make you regret it."

"And you made up for it." She dangled off the cliff. With a yelp, another step was gone. And she was just clinging onto Heimdall. And Heimdall grinned.

"Ha! Sweetheart, you look like you're doing just fine." He smirked. And Lina gritted her teeth. "Are you gonna pull me up or what?"

"Ooh, haven't you learned a thing or two from being in the Rascal legion." Heimdall stared. And sighed, rolled his eyes. Before dropping his apple. Onto her head. Making her release her hold on him. "Ah!"

"Don't try me, Half-breed." Heimdall pulled her up. But dragged her into the ground. "Get up. We're gonna go see the All-Father."

She got up. "Yeah… thanks for that." She said with some resentment. In front of them. Was a crane holding a box to hold people And Heimdall got on it. Waiting for Lina.

The vehicle started moving as the two got on. And Heimdall stared at her the whole way in. And Lina was desperately avoiding eye contact during all of it. The view of an incredible city shining. Looking down the view of Asgard shining. And Heimdall only stared at her with disappointment as he crossed his arms.

"Do you know what I hate about you?" Heimdall asked. But she didn't reply back. "As the god of foresight and the watchman who can read minds. Everyday, I see something tragic in people. People here hate, lie, and cheat on themselves and don't even know it. But at least they stay and rot in one place." Heimdall leaned back against the box.

"But you… you drift. Here you are, you don't even know what you are, what you want. And you dare inspire others to follow you. Hel, even I don't know what you're doing. And that's not strength. That's chaos in disguise. And chaos, my dear, wears a pretty smile before it burns the world." Heimdall's eyes widened with a cocky grin.

"That's why I hate you. You try. And blind to the fact that fate is trying harder."

"Are you saying I scare you?" Lina narrowed her eyes. And Heimdall looked at her with those piercing eyes. Almost freakishly still. But the vehicle stopped. And he smiled with a chuckle. As he looked towards the city of Asgard. "Well. That's a conversation for another time." He hops out the box.

The three were just outside the city gate. And there were two animals that stood out. A Gulltoppr, a mythical beast. Plattered in golden armor. And a dragon with leather armor were close to each other in their huts. Waiting for their owners to ride them. And Lina stared at the dragon. And Heimdall called out to her. "Hey-Hey. You can guess which is mine, surely."

"Is that a dragon? Who tamed it." She said looking up at Heimdall who was on his Beast. "That is Balder's. Mr.numb-face managed to tamed it because he didn't care how badly burned he got. I didn't take that risk."

He stepped the beast off of its hut. And puts it leaning to its side for Lina to hop on. "Are you going to get on?" He leaned against the Beast. And Lina sighed. "Only cuz I have to."

"I should drop you for that." Heimdall said as he spanked the beast. And it walked off with them on it. Going through the village.

"Hrimthurs is the name of a giant, right?" Lina rested her arms back. Tilting her body. "Yes?" Heimdall didn't look back. Not interested.

"Then why is it built over Asgard if the Aesir killed the giants?"

"Do you really think a Jotühn made the wall to protect the Aesir from invaders? Heimdall looked back with a side eye. And Lina responded back. "That's it's actual name! If you're the god of foresight, why don't you study so you can get caught up with your people's history?"

Heimdall scoffed. "How dare you put that on my title? I lived through the most important periods of Asgard. Who are you. A little girl, to challenge my knowledge on my realm?" He looked back at her.

"I'm not—" she stopped herself. "I never said any of that." And Heimdall chuckled. "Really?" As they arrived to a wooden mansion. "Did you know this is the great lodge? The All-Father himself built it with his own hands. This was what he called home after everything he had built for the nine realms. And this is why Asgard is so special." He hops off his beast. And goes behind it. With Lina on it. And slaps it's behind. Making it go haywire as it launches lina forward and flying. And she hits the rock floors. "What was that for!?

"I'm getting really sick of you," Heimdall walked up to her. His smile widening. And he raised his foot to pounce on her. "How about I send you. To your Moth—"

"Me." Mimir was right beside Lina. Staring at Heimdall. Who slowly put his foot down. And groaned. "What do you want, old man?"

"Look into my eyes." Mimir narrowed his eyes. "You. Tell. Me." He looked down at his own foot. And then towards Heimdall's crotch. Back at Heimdall's eyes. And Heimdall's eyes widened took a step back. "You…. Are a sick old man." He purposely collided against his shoulder. Looking back at him. "Put them to good use, ya mutt." He looked back. And looked back at Lina and smiled.

"Aye, little sister." He came up to her and gave her his hand. And she took it with a pause, but then a smile. "Mimir!" She hugged him tightly. Surprised. But hugs her back. "How are ya?"

"I… could be better." She put a hand on her neck as she pulled back.

"Hm. Let's have a walk then." Mimir then whistled. And a flock of ravens surrounded them.

They had teleported into a part of the village that was used for training purposes. And he walked in front of Lina.

"So. Tell me. What's happening with you today?" He looked back. And Lina walked to his side. "Well… I don't want to be here." She said as she looked down to see Einherjar sparring each other. And Mimir looked concerned.

"…What?" Mimir raised an eyebrow. "How so?"

"I don't want to be with my dad, Mimir. I— just wish things were different, you know?" She said as she looked down and to Mimir. And Mimir looked towards "Aye. Was that the reason you've… done everything, recently?"

Suddenly, a Valkyrie with a crown, in red and gold comes to Mimir. "Mimir." She called out. And Mimir put a hand on Lina's shoulder. "Give me a second," he looked over at her and smiled. "Yes?"

"It appears that the other one Heimdall was supposed to bring is deemed lost, maybe even dead." She walked the other side with Mimir. And Mimir nodded. "I'll be telling the All-father." He looked away and the Valkyrie exploded into the sky.

"Mmph." She looked away from Mimir's eyes. And Mimir sighed. "Sister… You could've asked Odin to give you some time away. You didn't have to commit all of the crimes in most of the Nine realms."

Mimir looked to the side. And in a box. Heimdall was sparring the two twin Valkyries, Mist was the green, and Hrist was the orange. One was attacking Heimdall but Heimdall dodged and leaped back. And the other came to dive with her sword down on Heimdall. But Heimdall only spun past her and landed with a flip on the ground. And then suddenly uses a blast of Bifröst and slams it against the two Valkyries. And Mimir calls him out for it. "Aye. Know your strength, Heimdall."

"I know what I'm doing!" He called out. And then he grinned towards the Valkyries. "I'm waiting."

"My dad wouldn't let me even if I was safe." She crossed her arms. And Mimir sighed and looked forward. "And why is that?" And She responded sharply, "Because of the truth."

"…Aye." He doesn't even try to not deny it. "Well," he looked back towards her. "While I still have time. Let's get you dressed to see your father."

Inside a dresser in a shop…. "Huh." Lina looks upset. But her dress meant a completely different mood as it was white and red. It was her, but even more royal. And the old lady who made the dress smiled at her. "You look perfect." She put a hand on her back. And Lina forced a smile. "Thanks, I love it."

Mimir leaning just outside of it and out in the city. And heard Lina coming out the door. "Well. Would you look at that." He smiled warmly. "You look fabulous." And Lina smiled back grabbing the hem of her dress and pulling it up as she bows. "You know it!"  Her smile seemed crooked again, and Mimir reads it. And sighs as he puts a hand on her shoulder. "Let's just get it done with, yeah?" He asked, the two walking forward. And she looked down. "Yeah…" she looked down.

Just below infront of where Lina and Heimdall met. There was the Everhart palace. It was far away from everything else. But her Father liked it that way. It was huge. But it didn't have the prescence of Heimdall to make it even bigger.Who crossed his arms in the middle of the giant gate. "Great." He saw the two coming by. "Let's see what this is about…" Heimdall walked forward.

Meanwhile, Lina and Mimir were talking just outside the palace. "Don't worry, dear. I'm sure you'll be fine. If anything, he's delighted to see you."

She sighed. "I sure hope that's the least of my worries…" she said sheepishly. And Heimdall clapped her on her back. "Don't worry. We're all delighted." He grinned. And Lina pushed his hand off of her with a annoyed look on his face. And Mimir's face crumbled. "Careful. I will replace your job." Mimir looked back at Lina. And nodded. She nodded back before she turned around. Heimdall slyly moves out of the way. Amused by her attitude. And smirked. "… We better be."

"Are you excited to meet the consequences of your actions?" He smiled. Getting in front of Lina. "Cuz I am. I can't wait to see the look on your fathers face when he sees you." He opens the gate. "By all means. Make yourself at your real home." He said as he walked to and leaned against a wall crossing his arm. "He's waiting~" He smiled slyly. And Lina sighed exasperatedly. Picking up her dress as she speed walked into the humongous hall way. "Dad?" And she looked to a old family photo of hers. With him, Her mom, and herself. Continuing to pass along. And then in front was the gate to his office. And she entered. Walking in slowly and looking around. And he was looking at the window in his office. Making her flinch.

"Ahh, dear!" Farbauti chuckled. Smiling as he hugging her tightly. And she hugged him back. Surprised by the affection. And he put his hands on his daughter's shoulders. "I knew you'd come back. It was only a matter time." He whispered to himself as he puts his hands on her cheek.

"I… missed you too." She said with a little smile. And Farbautis smile faded a little. His eyes were a little off. "Your actions say otherwise." He narrowed his eyes. Looking up and and down at her. This was normal, apparently. "Well. Tell me at dinner, What have you done for the past few days?"

Meanwhile…

In a dark, cold, purple mist of Hel. Dante was lying back against the opening gate of Hel. Unconscious. His coat was battle damaged. His head down. And his hand twitches for a second. Moaning groggily. "Agh… what time…" His eyes open slightly . And his leg curls for arm support. And he looks up. And sees a world of differences to where he was. "Right," He got up. Dusting himself off. "Got sent to Helheim." He looked around. "Guess he meant it Literally."

He looked path in front of him. And saw humanoid shadows walking. His eyes widened. "Woah…" He moved to the side. Staring at it. "Huh," And unexpectedly. Another phased through him. Like a ghost. And he flinched a little. Shivering. "Frosty… are they the dead?" And then a hundred more. Dashes to the gate. And knock on the gate. Roaring at the gate.Dante seemed concerned. And he asked himself as he scratched his head. And looked to the purple sky. "Why me, world…"

But then. Words came from the sky. "Grandson…" The Titan appearance of a man appears above Dante. And his jaw dropped. He clenched his fist as he looked down. And the man looked down. He Dante looked back up. And the man spoke again. "Failure can be a disease. Yet action is the cure." Dante looked at the eyes of the man. "I don't know if I can do it." He looked away again.

"No one can win every battle. But no man should fall…" The man aligned. Making Dante look back.  "Without struggle." The man firmly spoke. "Yes?" Dante. Looking at the reflection of his eyes, Furrowing his eyebrows with determination. Looked back. "Yeah." He let a dry chuckle. Smiling a little. Turning his back. "I'll take it for granted." He said as he hopped away.

"Mm," Farbauti chowed down on his food. Cutting his meat. And stabbing it, putting it into his mouth. Before cleaning it. "Isn't the food good, sweetheart?"

Lina, from the other side of the very long table, put her fork on the table. Tilting her head in concern. "Dad, you're not listening to me." And Farbauti nodded as he drank his wine. "Mhm. Mhm!" As he drinked a chug of his wine. And Lina was hazardous. And he smirked cheekily. "What's new? That you don't like your old man and want your friends to help ya?" He let out a chuckle. "You'll see it when you grow up." And he shook his head. And Lina was a bit frustrated.

"Dad— I'm 20, I know exactly what I'm talking about." She stood up and put her hands on the table. "Plus, I'm just wanting for them to not die, if they're gonna do that to them, I atleast want them to be our servants."

And at the sound of those words. Farbauti, put his glass on the table that was very audible. "Lina Everhart. The only one to serve you everything you have is me. And now because your dream is to be 'free'. You should stick to the idea that dreams aren't real." He stood up. And walked to the photo with his wife. "You wake up from them." He tensed his lips. And then he gritted his teeth. "Fine. Just this once." He turned back. Smiling warmly. "But you can only visit one." And Lina bursted in a glee. "Thanks dad! I'll tell Mimir."

She dashes over to the gates. And leaves her father by himself. And he smiles. Until he doesn't. He shatters his glass of wine with a roar and a grunt.

"No!!!" He screamed. And it falls on the floor. The drink showing a reflection of himself. Putting his bloodied hand over his face. His elbow on the table. In a gap between his fingers, his eye glows. "I…. Am a failure." He trembles.

Inside the great lodge. Lina moaned. "C'mon, Mimir. My dad gave me permission to atleast have one as our servant." And he put his hands on his desk. "Lina… I don't know what to think about that." Mimir leaned forward. A serious look in his face. "Your father might've given his consent." He stood up from his desk. Walking around. "But the All-Father might not agree."

"Seriously?" She put a hand on her cheek. A deadpan expression painted on her face. "Not even for her future disciple?" She smiled cutely.

"Well. No…" He put his hands on his hips. And she sighed. But Mimir smiled. "But we'll see." And she lifted her head more. And grinned.

The two got out of Mimir's office. And were met by a beautiful, tall, golden hair braided to the point it reaches her midriff, and blue eyed woman. With a earthy colored dress with gold trimmings. With black heels. "Mimir."

"Sif!" Mimir. Smiled. "What do ya need?"

"I need you to talk with me after your—" Sif looks up and down at Lina. "… deal with our guest." And Lina took a step back with a frown. And Mimir nodded.

"Aye. We'll be off, then."

"I'll be in my room." She walked to the huge dorm. Her hand on the frame, turning her head back. "And before I forget. Can you go check my husband? He better not be drinking again." She raised an eyebrow.

"Why yes. That's the least you should expect from your husband." Mimir replied. And she rolled her eyes as she went into the dorm. "Magni. Modi. Come. Let's have a talk about your search."

In the background. There were two twins. One leaning against the wall. And the other against the furniture. And they walked over to there. One had a big brown beard and a fur coat. With a mace. And the other was tattooed, clean shaved. With brown shorter hair as well. But with a bigger claymore on his back. And the bigbeard winked at Lina as he walked past her.

"Ay, Baby. How about you come with me after tomorrow nights party, ey? You look good. I'll show you a real good time."  And the clean shaved smacked his brother in the back of the head. "Quiet. We're not allowed to talk to her."

Modi rubbed his head. "Magni! You son of a-" He shoved him. And Lina looked at Mimir.

"They're talking about a party? What party?" The two walked to the lobby. And Mimir tensed. "Your welcome party. Odin will most likely be there."

"What!?" She shrieked.

Outside of the great lodge. Lina got in front of Mimir. Her hands wrapped behind her back. "Mimir, you know I'm not great with groups…" and Mimir shakes his head.

"Aye, "Don't ya worry, little sister." He put a hand on her shoulder.  "If anything happens. I'll be right by your side."

She smiled warmly. "That's sweet. Thanks." And so, She waved from a distance. Dashing home. Holding her dress. And Mimir smiled. "This girl…" he whispered. And he walked forward. His face serious.

Meanwhile…

Dante is heard grunting as he lifts a gate with his bare hands. And he launches it up and jumps and twirls out of the way. Looking back at the slamming gate.

"Phew." He turns back forward. "Now that that's done with…" Dante dusted his shoulder off. "What's next?" He looked up. And he saw a huge ship. It was colored in the form of what Hel was too. "A pirate ship?" He went up to it. Feeling it. "Feels like a pirate ship, alright." He smiled subtly. And hopped to the flag. That was closed shut by a rope. "Alright big guy," he grabs the rope. "Let's spread your wings and fly."

He jumps off. Using his momentum to open the flag. Spiraling down it a few times. And then landing on the ground. Pulling it just a little more with a few steps back. And the flag spreads open. Leaving Dante in awe. "Argh… Matey! Captain Dante, coming in hot!" Dante put his hands on his hips. And then slowly putting his hand up to salute with an excited look on his face. But it quickly deflated with a sigh. "They don't say that, do they?" He walked forward. "Focus, Dante. Focus." And he went to the front. Checking all of the sorts. "Steering wheel?" He looked to the front. Rolling it. "Check." He went to the edge of the pirate ship. "Now… how does this thing move?" Seeing the pirate ship literally floating on nothing. Basically levitating. "Looks like it's going to have to prove itself." He rocked the giant pole holding the flag with his hands. Grunting.  "Sturdy?" He pulled back. And it didn't wobble. "Looks sturdy enough." He wiped his forehead. And then he heard a roar. "Kneel before me!" Dante looked up. "Not good…" he sees a giant. Viking hat, green skeleton warirrior come down on Dante with his scythe. And lands on the ship. Sending Dante flying back and off the ship. But luckily grabs onto the barrier. Holding onto it feet on the ship's underside. "Come out, Rebel! King Hrolf Kraki will lead you to your death!"

"What is a berserker doing in Hel? Do I need to fight a Odin powered warrior right now?" He muttered to himself. he hangs onto the barrier as he runs on the side of the boat before hoping over the barrier. Dashing to the rope and swings high into the sky. Spinning and climbing up it with his hands. "Sorry, big guy." And as he dives down. He swings his leg to kick it. Kicking its scythe out of the way. "Not a chance!" And gets on top of its skeleton arm and then hops to dodge its counter and kicks its face with a spinning kick. Landing on the floor. Superhero landing. "I have places to be."

And Hrolf growls. "Under myself!"

Dante narrowed his eyes. Calm. But with precision "We'll see about that."

Mimir went to the tavern. Asking around the Einherjar and other warriors of Asgard where Thor is. And he ultimately sighs. Dismissing himself. And after, he went to the dorm Sif and her twins entered.

"Your husband is just fine, Sif." He gave a thumbs up. And Modi, still there talking with his mother with his brother, shut the door on him. And surprises Mimir. Furrowing his eyebrows. "Isn't." And then. He went to Odin's dorm. But he wasn't there. there were two Ravens on each side of the room.

"Aye," Mimir bowed. "Huginn, Muninn." Suddenly, The two ravens squawked. And they flew through the small tunnel of the door.

Mimir follows, opening the door that leaves to a study place underneath the great lodge. And he hears Odin's voice. The two ravens disappear into sparks as they turn into Odin's tattoos on his arms. "Ah, Mimir. Tell me something new. Did Loki ask something of you?" He said as his silhouette was visible. "Your disciple asks of a… rather complicated request." He looks at the Sword tied to a rope just near his desk. And it twitches. Speaking some inaudible languages

"Really?" He chuckles. "That's great. She's young, mortal. But with the fearlessness of a god. She's stepping into my footsteps, don't you think?"

"Um…." Mimir chuckled nervously. And Odin chuckles. "I'm just kidding. What did the kid say?"

Mimir walked down stairs. "Well… she wants one of Athena's legionnaires to be her servants. She doesn't want them to die." And to that. Odin stops his work.

"…Is that so?" And Mimir sighed. "Reckless, yeah? Those rebels were the worst the nine realms have seen. And they've only been to four of the nine."

"Well. When I was young, I was the same." Odin spoke. "Look where I am. I have everything working for me."

"Hm." Mimir seemed hesitant. "Should I go tell her no?"

"Absolutely not." Odin rejected the idea. "Let the kid have freedom."

"What?" Mimir raised an eyebrow. His jaw wide open. "You can't be serious, Odin. Are you brainwashed? Did you hit your head, or went blind trying to see through 'it'?"

"No, Mimir. I know exactly what I'm doing." Odin got his spear. "I'm spitting a clear sentence with my decision; I am not her father."

Mimir narrowed his eyes. "You've done crazy things. But nothing like what you've just said." Odin laughed.

"Ha. You know what they say; everyone has a little craze, amirite?"

And Mimir looked down. "…Is this how you sleep every night?"

"You know that, Mimir." He walks closer to him. His shadow getting a singular, glowing, red eye. I sleep in control. of my. Kingdom." Odin's voice rose. "But you tell me; am I the one in control? Or are you the one disobeying me?" He whispered. Walking past him. "Get your priorities straight before you talk to me like that." he stopped on a stair case just above Mimir. "Let Loki know I won't be attending the party. And I'll be seeing her soon." He continues forward.  "Dismissed."

Mimir didn't say anything. But he turned around, a fierce look on his face. And he clenched his fist. "Why do I stand with you…"
