Charlotte crouched and opened her arms as Primo crashed into her embrace.
They hugged each other tightly.
Primo bawled hard, smearing Charlotte's clothes with tears and the chicken grease around his mouth. "Mommy, I miss you so much. I miss you so much."
"I missed you too, Primo. I missed you so much," Charlotte said as tears streamed down her face.
After staying like that for five minutes, Primo touched Charlotte's face. "Mommy, you lost weight. We're not the chubby duo anymore," he said a bit dejectedly.
He loved being part of the chubby duo with his mother.
Despite her sadness, Charlotte couldn't help but laugh at his silly words.
Primo always had the power to make someone laugh, even in the worst of times.
"I'm sorry, Primo. It seems like we need to disband. But I will still love you forever! Although the chubby duo has broken up, our relationship as mother and son will last forever," Charlotte said.
"Okay then..." Primo said reluctantly.
