The two brothers, Thomas and Edward, were currently leading a team of Metas on a journey around the world to find and rescue Metas who were abandoned by their families and communities, and left to fend for themselves. They also 'educated' people with meta family members on why throwing them out was a bad idea.
Rescued Metas who were children were sent into a specially made orphanage built to cater for them and any weird abilities they held. Since they were co-owned by the Griffins, Millers and other wealthy sympathizers, these orphanages were strictly monitored to ensure the welfare of the children were the highest priority. They were given the chance to grow while experiencing the normal daily lives of other children their age.
With a little education on how best to use their abilities as well as how best to conceal them, these children were allowed to attend regular schools, although staffs handling them were scrutinized heavily and briefed on every necessary factor.
Those who were considered adults were enrolled in similar programmes that ended with a choice of joining as a member or starting a new life on their own…with support of course.
Adla on the other hand, after parting ways with Samuel and his friends, used his connection with the rangers to enroll in basic school. After a few years he travelled to Ghana for his university education studying environmental science with zoology.
He returned to Tanzania with a bachelor's degree and officially took the job of ranger in charge of safe guarding the forest and its animals. Adla did not need any convincing…he immediately agreed to lend his aid.

Within the next few days after the call was sent out, Lisia, following the request of Dr. Michelson, took control of the several hundred construction droids and initiated a massive expansion project for the entire underground lab. The expansion stretched out for several miles wide and deep underground.
Bigger and better facilities and machinery were installed throughout the newly constructed complexes, all in preparation for the upcoming battle.

A week after the call was made, the group stood before the newly rebuilt warp gate. It stood at a staggering twenty meters from its base and ten meters from side to side. With its new upgrade, users of the warp gate did not need to depend on specialized suits to safely traverse the wormhole.
"Is everyone ready?" Dr. Michelson asked them. "Let's do it!" Sylvester said and the others nodded in agreement.
"Alright then. Lisia…please reactivate the warp gate", Dr. Michelson requested. "REQUEST ACKNOWLEDGED! REACTIVATING!" Lisia declared as the gate hummed…the entire room vibrating alongside it. After a few seconds, the space within the gate distorted as a wormhole was opened and contained within it. Due to its size, the wormhole fluctuated as Lisia tried to stabilize it.
"WARP GATE SUCCESSFULLY REACTIVATED!!" Lisia announced as the gate fully stabilized.
The group stared into the newly upgraded Warp gate with a sense of accomplishment that could not be hidden.
"Now…initiate 'Multi Location Warp Tunnels' with the previously entered coordinates", Dr. Michelson requested next. "ACKNOWLEDGED! INITIATING…!!" Lisia replied as the gate hummed louder as the wormhole twirled in place.
In different locations all over the world, space distorted as wormholes opened before the designated individuals who were the targets.
The first group to emerge through the gate were several hundred members of the Institute led by Hezekiah and the other trusted Senior members. Following them out of the gate was Dr. Ferguson, with several dozen warriors from his island who were there to aid in the battle. With the food and security situation back on the island sorted out, the strongest of the warriors had no qualms with joining in the battle for the fate of their planet.
After briefly welcoming the large group, four android Lisia replicas stepped forward drawing their attention. Two of the replicas led the groups to their assigned accommodations in the newly built facilities and workstations all over the base.
The Senior Members and Dr. Ferguson were led by another replica to a special, newly-built conference room designated the 'War room'.
A few seconds later, Adla emerged and a beaming smile flashed on his face after he made eye contact with his friends. He was immediately followed by the brothers Thomas and Edward, who were also followed by a few dozen members of their Meta group. They were welcomed as well and shown to their assigned accommodations
The last person following behind them was Silendiana, who quickly run and jumped into her lover's arms and kissed him. "I've missed you darling!" Silendiana said after parting their lips. "I know. It's been quite the challenge not seeing you", Dr. Michelson said and resumed their kiss.
The rest of the group could not help but look away in shy awkwardness giving the couple the privacy they needed to express their love.
"Is that everyone?" Sylvia asked turning attention to herself. "Not yet! We're still missing a few", Samuel said as they turned to the gate once again.
The wormhole fluctuated slightly as several dire creatures walked through with Drogo and his family in the lead, with Raegan and an unfamiliar peregrine falcon perched snuggly on Drogo's back.
Drogo stood at a staggering nine feet tall and four feet wide with rippling muscles all over his robust body with sharp Sabre-tooth fangs and claws the size of knives that could rip through steel just as easily as paper.
Raine stood a foot shorter than her mate, with similarly sharp fangs and claws but with a sleek built-for-speed body that looked like she had thin flexible bones that could maneuver through any obstacle.
Duke and Crystal had the appearances of the mother and father when they first evolved respectively. Duke had a more foxlike appearance while his sister Crystal had a more wolflike appearance.
As the Dire Raven leader, Raegan had also grown to a staggering four feet tall with a total wingspan of eight feet. His feathers glistened in the light, appearing to be scale-like. He had a long sharp beak and talons that were equally as frightening as his canine companions.
Perched next to him was a peregrine falcon that appeared out of place amongst the entire group. Although it could be considered insanely big for its species, its appearance was not really mind blowing compared to its companions. The consensus was that it was a relatively recent addition to the pack.
The other dire creatures had also grown but not to the level of their leaders.
Samuel walked up to them and patted Drogo on his large furry head. "Who's your new friend?" he asked looking at the falcon that lowered its head in reverence. Drogo gave a low growl in response followed be a gentle caw from Raegan.
"I see…she is your companion. I guess congratulations are in order", Samuel said to Raegan after understanding their words. "Then, as a new member, I'll have to give you a name as well", Samuel said and paused in thought.
"Your name is Atlas! Together with Raegan as you partner, I want you to conquer the skies and protect the pack", Samuel said directly to the falcon. Atlas replied with a rasping kack-kack-kack sound before bowing low once more in acknowledgement of her task.
Samuel then stepped back and allowed one of the replicas to escort the dire creatures to the conference hall, with the group following behind.
"They are really evolving. It will not shock me if they actually start speaking in human tongue", Sylvia said. "You're right. Lisia has actually made such a prediction. She also says it will not be long before other creatures start evolving as well. The chances of that happening after this upcoming battle is extremely high", Dr. Michelson added.
"Let's worry about that later. Let's survive this battle first", Samuel said as they entered the newly built conference hall. The hall was filled with all the scientists and engineers as well as the Metas and Dire creatures.
The others took their seats as Samuel and Dr. Michelson took the podium on the platform…overlooking everyone.
"Thank you all for responding to our call to join us in defending our planet. Now that the full force of the Guardians has convened, let's start our discussions", Samuel declared initiating the start of the conference.
