Chapter 547 - Welcome To The Underground!

Bidding farewell to Palina, John mounted Shadow Lugia and returned to Snowpoint Temple.

It was still night when he returned to Snowpoint Temple, and the two leaders Adaman and Irida hadn't arrived yet.

So John went back to his secret base to rest.

At 8 o'clock in the morning the next day, John arrived on the first floor of Snowpoint Temple on time and met Sabi and Palina again, who'd been waiting for a long time.

Compared to their last meeting, Sabi and Palina's attitude toward John had undergone a complete 180-degree turn, they were respectful and somewhat flattering.

They didn't even have such an attitude toward their own leaders.

John suspected that if he asked them to leave the Pearl and Diamond Clans to join the Galaxy Expedition Team, they might agree without hesitation.

Unfortunately, John had no intention of establishing another organization in the Hisui Region.

"Have Leaders Adaman and Irida arrived?" John asked.

"Leaders Adaman and Irida traveled all night and arrived around 6 o'clock this morning. They're now resting in camp and waiting for your arrival."

"Please!" Sabi and Palina explained, and one extended their hand to lead the way.

John followed Palina to the largest tent in the middle of camp.

Walking into the tent, Adaman and Irida sat opposite each other. Neither spoke, they were closing their eyes to rest.

Hearing someone enter, they both opened their eyes simultaneously and glanced at John.

There was curiosity, suspicion, surprise, and fighting spirit in their eyes.

It seemed that before he came, Sabi and Palina had already reported what happened to their leaders.

Then things were simple.

"Good morning, Leaders." John took the initiative to greet them.

"Good morning, John," they both responded.

Adaman stood up first and said loudly, "I heard from Sabi that you easily defeated the Pokemon guarding the keys, and you're stronger than we expected."

"How about we have a match after this matter is over?"

The fighting spirit in his eyes wasn't concealed at all.

"No problem." John welcomed all challengers.

However, based on his estimate of Adaman's strength, the Pokemon competing with him would probably be from his fourth tier, that is, the baby lineup.

Otherwise, the battle process would have little meaning and the result would be obvious.

"Captain Cyllene is so fortunate to be able to recruit you to join the Galaxy Expedition Team," Irida said, looking at John seriously.

It was as if she wanted to get to know John all over again.

The two meetings had refreshed her estimation of John's capabilities.

But she also didn't hide her recognition of John's strength.

John smiled and went straight to the point.

"How are the two leaders resting? When are we going to explore the lower three floors of Snowpoint Temple?"

"Now," Adaman couldn't wait.

Irida had no objection since she didn't have a key anyway.

"By the way, Leader Adaman, after your key opens the door, can you make a deal with me?"

"I'll exchange it with you for a nice Pokemon item," John said suddenly.

The key was made of the Rock of Life, which was a rare divine material. John wanted to equip Tyranitar with more. Even if it meant exchanging a legendary item or a treasure.

"What deal? The key will be useless after opening the door. I'll just give it to you," Adaman waved his hand generously.

John immediately understood that Leader Adaman didn't comprehend the effect of the legendary Pokemon item Rock of Life and just regarded it as an ordinary key.

"Thank you very much, Leader Adaman."

The three of them emerged from the camp. Members of the Diamond and Pearl Clans on both sides had been waiting for a long time. The two leaders selected a few elite members to act together this time.

The only person traveling with John was Akari.

Seeing John appear, she ran over quickly.

"John, where were you last night?" Akari asked. She'd searched around the campsite last night but couldn't find John.

"I built a camp outside Snowpoint Temple," John replied casually.

Soon, everyone arrived at a Rock gate.

"Let's begin," Adaman said.

There was a stone platform next to the Rock gate with six grooves on it. As long as the Rock of Life placed on each floor of Snowpoint Temple was embedded in it, the gate would activate and open.

After Leader Adaman inlaid his only Rock of Life, John waved his hand, and all five Rocks of Life were embedded on the stone platform.

For a moment, there was brilliant light.

A faint blue light appeared in the middle of the Rock gate. From top to bottom, it was like a sudden flash of sword light striking the Rock gate. Then the gate cracked down the middle and divided into two halves. Suddenly, a faint blue airflow surged out from inside like a tide.

John, Adaman, and Irida, who were standing in front of the stone gate, bore the brunt of it.

But this blue airflow wasn't aggressive. Instead, it gave people a very warm feeling. Just touching it was enough to make people feel energized.

The three of them were on alert but didn't defend or disperse the airflow.

John's eyes brightened.

He knew this flowing energy!

It was aura power!

And it was extremely pure aura power! Even stronger than the Tree of Beginning where Mew resided!

This made John feel somewhat incredulous. The Tree of Beginning was the source of aura itself. To have more powerful aura than the Tree of Beginning? what was down there?

Wasn't it supposed to be Regigigas?

"Gardevoir!" John called.

Gardevoir understood and quietly appeared behind John. Her slender hands waved like conducting a baton, elegant and graceful, as light purple Psychic spread accordingly.

Her powerful mental power instantly blocked the surrounding space and controlled all the overflowing aura power, preventing any leakage.

She extended her hand again, opened a space rift in mid-air, and channeled all the aura power into it.

It looked as if a small vortex appeared in mid-air, constantly absorbing the aura in the atmosphere into it.

The aura would be channeled through the space rift to John's secret base and used to nurture other Pokemon.

John and the others stood at the gate for several minutes, but there was still no sign that the aura power had been completely absorbed.

"Let's enter," Adaman said. He didn't understand what John and Gardevoir were doing, but that didn't prevent him from continuing the exploration.

"Let's go," John took the lead.

Gardevoir followed, placing a vortex at the Rock entrance to prevent aura from escaping.

She cut another opening in space and followed John, absorbing any aura encountered along the way.
