Spent and tired from having her memories scanned, Michelle remained on Alexander's bed, not really caring about anything.
Alexander moved over to her and pulled her to him.
"How do you feel?" he asked as he brushed his fingers through Michelle's hair before moving his hands to rub her temples.
Michelle moved her gaze to look at his face.
"My head hurts," she was complaining, but her voice was calm.
Alexander slightly increased the pressure he was putting on Michelle's temple, as if trying to massage the pain away.
"Just rest now. It will get better in a while." It was rare for him to be so gentle and Michelle couldn't quite wrap her head around it.
But with the throbbing in her head, she couldn't even think about it much and just closed her eyes to enjoy the massage.
After massaging her temples for a while, Alexander proceeded to massage her whole scalp and the back of her neck, greatly soothing Michelle's pain.
