Hakuto looked at the five sisters in the hallway on the second floor and shook his head.
Since the good show had already ended, it was time for him to find a suitable reason to rejoin the group.
The next second, Hakuto stretched lazily, activated his supercomputer, and left the five sisters' house.
Since Itsuki had mentioned more than once that Hakuto went out for a late-night snack, it was perfect timing for him to actually go for one.
As for the five sisters...
"Ugh..." Itsuki was muffled by Nino's hand, unable to speak, only able to groan incessantly.
Itsuki pulled Nino's hand away and stuck out her tongue. "Phew! What are you doing, Nino?"
"Nothing, nothing. I was just thinking that if Yotsuba can't get used to the perfume in my room, we can let her go back to her own room to sleep..."
Nino said with a thoughtful expression for Yotsuba.
"Huh? Let Yotsuba go back to her own room to sleep?" Itsuki furrowed her brows. "Where's Shiratori-sensei going to sleep then?"
"You don't have to worry about that, Itsuki," Nino replied.
"I'm serious! Nino, don't push me! Where's Shiratori-sensei going to sleep?!" Itsuki protested while being pushed into the room by Nino.
Only when the door was slammed shut did Itsuki stop protesting.
"Nino... you started this..." Itsuki raised an eyebrow, knowing full well what was going on in her sister's mind.
But she didn't want to expose it...
As for Yotsuba, Nino's intentions were clear! She wanted to make sure Hakuto had nowhere to sleep, and then Nino would step in.
Pretending to act tsundere and reluctant.
"See? You have nowhere to sleep. I'll reluctantly let you squeeze in with me..."
If Hakuto really entered the room, it would be like a sheep walking into a tiger's den!
"Forget it, forget it. Not my problem. Time to sleep..."
Itsuki didn't really think Hakuto would fall for Nino's scheme.
Rather than Nino, Yotsuba had a higher chance.
After all, if Hakuto came back, he would subconsciously head to Yotsuba's room.
However, what Itsuki didn't know was that Nino was now Hakuto's nominal girlfriend, so if there was no room to sleep, he would probably subconsciously choose Nino's room.
Miku yawned. "Nino... don't push me. I'll walk on my own..."
Ichika wore an expression that hinted at something interesting. "Why is Nino in such a hurry for me to go back? Is she planning something strange?"
"Nino, can I really go back to my own room to sleep?"
"Just go. Why ask so many questions?"
And so, Nino pushed everyone into their rooms, then took Hakuto's phone and placed it on the coffee table in the living room.
Satisfied with her actions, Nino nodded and then skipped back to her room.
Meanwhile, Hakuto...
"I'm an idiot! I forgot my phone. What am I doing at the night market?"
It wasn't until he got to the night market that Hakuto realized he hadn't brought his phone, though he had his wallet with him.
But shopping alone without a phone? Only a god could manage that!
Darn it!
Hakuto shook his head. Since he forgot his phone and was by himself, he didn't plan to stay too long.
He just bought something quickly and was ready to head back to the five sisters' house.
Fortunately, Hakuto still had the apartment key and the room key.
Even if he didn't, he could always resort to brute force. But this "brute force" wasn't about breaking down the door—it meant finding a place to climb in through the window.
Around 2 AM, Hakuto quietly returned to the apartment.
He put the late-night snack on the coffee table, then collapsed onto the sofa.
"My phone's here?" Hakuto frowned as he saw his phone on the coffee table. If he remembered correctly, it should've been in his room.
He instinctively picked up the phone, and the screen lit up with a message.
"Yotsuba went back to her own room to sleep. If you don't want to sleep on the sofa when you return, you can come to my room to sleep..."
"Although there are differences between men and women... since you're my boyfriend, I suppose it's not impossible..."
With that tone, Hakuto didn't even need to check the contact name to know who sent it...
It was Nino, who edited and sent the message to his phone, making sure it would pop up as soon as the screen lit up.
Such a thoughtful effort... Hakuto sighed and shook his head, wondering if this was the power of a steamroller.
He opened his phone and browsed the news. Whether or not he'd go to Nino's room could wait.
For now, he was going to enjoy his late-night snack!
Hakuto unwrapped the food he bought and grabbed a skewer of grilled squid to eat.
Little did he know, the smell of this late-night snack caught the attention of a certain "monster" upstairs.
Itsuki woke up in the middle of her dream, sluggishly got out of bed, and like a boneless creature, was drawn downstairs by the smell of grilled skewers.
Meanwhile, Hakuto, still checking his phone while eating skewers, finished one skewer of grilled fish quickly.
However, just as he was about to grab another skewer, he felt an icy cold hand where the skewer had been placed.
(눈_눈)?!
Hakuto slowly turned his head to find, at some point, a pink-haired girl with half-closed eyes had sat next to him, holding the skewer he had just bought.
"Huh? Itsuki?"
"Shh? Shiratori-sensei, good evening..." Itsuki greeted him, her cheeks puffed out.
