Finally, Gengtian understood why Yuan Cang had fallen to Lin Langtian; the Chaos Demon Flame was indeed frightening.
Standing amidst the demonic flames, Lin Langtian seemed to have transformed into a true demon, as if he alone commanded the demonic energy in the air. He slowly descended from the sky and landed atop a mountain peak.
"Let's settle this, then," Lin Langtian said, his dark eyes locked onto Gengtian. He wore a slight smile, demonic flames swirling around him. "As my first major opponent since breaking into Shengxuan Realm, I hope you won't disappoint me."

His low shout echoed, and a massive wave of energy burst from him. Space around the array began to distort, and massive black chains of energy shot out, wrapping around each other in midair and forming a large, black sigil.

The sigil shot toward Lin Langtian, releasing a terrifying wave of power.
Seeing the attack, Lin Langtian merely smirked. With a sweep of his sleeve, he unleashed a tidal wave of demonic flames that surged forward to meet the black sigil.
Boom!
The black sigil collided with the demon flames, and as it entered the fiery zone, the flames seemed to open like the jaws of a giant beast, swallowing the sigil whole.
Sizzle!
The demonic flames surged over the black sigil, exploding into countless bursts of energy. Within moments, the sigil grew dim, cracks forming along its surface. Finally, with a loud blast, it shattered completely.
"Gah!"
As the sigil exploded, Gengtian staggered, a groan escaping his lips. His face twisted as he took in the sheer destructive force of Lin Langtian's flames.
"What kind of monstrous fire is this?" Nalan and the other Tianxuan Sect disciples watched in disbelief. Despite the power of the Minor Heavenly Sealing Array, Gengtian had once again been forced onto the defensive by Lin Langtian's demonic flames.
On the peak, Gengtian's gaze hardened as he glared at Lin Langtian. "So, this is your true power…"
"More or less," Lin Langtian replied, surrounded by the swirling demon flames. His tone was icy. "If you have no other tricks, then Tianxuan Sect's debt to Fire Division will be paid in full today."
"Hmph! Don't celebrate too soon. I'll show you the full power of a Pure Yuan Treasure!"
With a sinister smile, Gengtian bit down on his tongue, spitting a mouthful of blood onto the Minor Heavenly Sealing Array. The array absorbed the blood and began to grow rapidly in size, its energy surging even higher.
In just a few breaths, the array expanded into a formation hundreds of meters wide, covering the entire sky and earth. The ominous energy it exuded stirred a deep, unsettling dread in everyone's soul. The massive formation loomed over the heavens, while Gengtian's face grew pale. His eyes glowed with a crimson light, fixed with a savage intensity on Lin Langtian, as he declared in a voice icy with conviction:
"I told you, only one of us will win, and that person is me—Gengtian!"
The enormous formation spread out overhead, interwoven with complex, radiant lines that filled the air with an overwhelming aura. This array was far more intricate and potent than the previous formations, and the faint energy ripples it emitted made many hearts race in fear.
With a low, rumbling sound, the huge formation began to spin under Gengtian's control. Black beams shot out from it, releasing waves of terrifying power. Then, at the center of the formation, a thousand-foot-long pitch-black spear gradually took shape.

With Gengtian's shout, the massive, black spear fully materialized, pulsing with dazzling black light. Waves of energy flowed continuously from it, expanding outward.
Gengtian extended his hand and, with a fierce grip, locked the spear's sightline onto Lin Langtian.
"Die!"
With a hoarse roar, the central formation erupted in light, and the spear, like an arrow unleashed, shot straight toward Lin Langtian!

She stared at Lin Langtian and the massive, demonic sword looming behind him, her delicate hand clenching in disbelief. The intensity of their duel was rare even among elite elders of major sects. With such destructive force on display, it was easy to mistake them for two Shengxuan Peak experts locked in a life-or-death struggle.
As Ling Qingzhu's mind raced, the clash between Lin Langtian and Gengtian erupted into full force in the sky above.

All eyes were fixed on the sky, the tension palpable as everyone awaited the outcome of this terrifying clash. In that charged moment, the sword and spear began to swell.
Spectators watched in stunned silence as the two massive energy constructs grew larger, radiating an oppressive feeling of doom. The disciples of Fire Division and Tianxuan Sect backed away quickly, unable to shake a deep sense of unease.
Moments later, the sword and spear expanded rapidly. The energy around them grew blindingly bright as space itself shuddered violently.

A blinding flash erupted from the sky as the energy of the sword and spear finally reached its limit. A thunderous explosion, like a massive storm, swept through the air.
The shockwaves tore through space, and those too close to the blast, unable to evade in time, were knocked back, coughing up blood.
Witnessing the scene, many dropped their jaws in disbelief. The mere aftershocks of the explosion had seriously injured hundreds, a testament to the terrifying power of the Demon Sword and the Sky-Splitting Spear.
As the crowd gaped in shock, two figures shot out of the explosion's heart, both in rough shape—Lin Langtian and Gengtian. (Chapter ends)
