"So I guess it's up to you now, what do you care more about? Getting revenge or saving your beloved fiance," Hattie grinned.
Ansel took the dagger and pressed into the side of her cheek, staring into her eyes as she smiled at him.
"So your temper is worth more to you than her life? You say you love her but can't even get over your anger long enough to save her life… Maybe you don't actually love her, maybe her life is meaningless to you," Hattie taunted.
Ansel let out a sigh, tightly clenching his job.
"One day I'm going to kill you," He swore, lowering the dagger, "You won't always have a way out. Your day will come soon."
"Yes but that day is not today," Hattie chirped, standing to her feet, "My, my, it seems I'm in the same spot as last time. I have all the control and you have to do what I say. Hmm what do I want?"
"Don't push it," Ansel growled, "Your life is already being spared for the time being but your time is coming."
