Chapter 809
Boom!
A sharp sound exploded in Ron's mind, and the next moment, he felt his consciousness pulled into another space. One by one, illusory figures came into view.
A hunched green insect drooled viscous liquid from its mouth that sizzled against the ground as it corroded the surface.
A plump white larva squirmed slowly across the floor.
A butterfly soared gracefully through the air.
A large blue cocoon stood still in place, unmoving, yet exuding a formidable aura.
Then, all of these figures were drawn into the crystal sphere.
Crack!
A burst of explosive noise rang out. Ron's awareness was ejected at high speed.
Moments later, Ron opened his eyes.
With a single thought, a new form appeared before him.
Its body was a dual shade of green—one part emerald, one part light lime—with traces of other colors scattered across its surface. It had a humanoid figure, but it wasn't human. Behind it were wings resembling a mantis's, and its head bore resemblance to a cockroach. A long, segmented tail extended behind it.
A stream of information flooded into Ron's mind.
Cell.
From the world of Dragon Ball.
An artificial lifeform.
Just as Ron had expected.
Cell's origins were strikingly similar to that of the Chimera Ants—both were experimental lifeforms created through human interference, both combined human and insect traits, and both were designed to be used as tools.
Primary Ability: Absorption: Capable of taking in the abilities of others through absorption and making them his own.
This, too, was somewhat similar to the Chimera Ant King. The King could gain a target's abilities after consuming them. In Cell's case, he simply absorbed them instead of eating them.
Grade: S
Ron studied Cell and revealed a satisfied smile.
"Not bad. With this, my overall combat power has grown again."
"Me, Cell, Rosgell, and Wither—that's four S-rank entities."
"Among S-rank Nen users, the number of people who could defeat me is growing incredibly small. Even Ging Freecss might not be able to."
With a thought, Ron dismissed Cell.
He then opened the door and stepped out of Sumas's space, returning to the Zoldyck estate.
Inside Sumas, a slip of paper burned to ash. It had been Ron's latest self-evaluation—an organised list of his current strengths and Nen entities.

As Ron's own strength continued to rise, his Nen beasts had also grown stronger. Though Natsu and Sasuke hadn't yet reached S-rank, raising Akame to A-rank had already been accomplished.
And, in truth, Ron had more potential S-ranks still in reserve. Once he supplied enough aura to Blue-Eyes White Dragon, it too could ascend to S-rank. But the cost was higher than before.
Previously, summoning Blue-Eyes once would require a one-month cooldown. Now, the interval had extended to three months. Ron would need to be more selective when deploying it. On the human continent, this wasn't a problem. But on the Dark Continent, every choice had to be weighed carefully.
That aside, Cell's condition seemed a bit… unusual.
Ron could sense something strange within Cell's body—something like a missing piece. Only by filling that gap could Cell reach his true, complete form.
Ron didn't feel anything similar in himself, or in Rosgell, or Wither. Maha Zoldyck had described something like this before—a thread stretching into the void. But strangely, none of Ron's other Nen beasts, not even himself, had ever felt anything similar.
What stood out even more was that Cell himself seemed to know where the missing piece was located. He had a vague sense of direction.
But it was far away—well beyond the limits of the human world.
It had to be on the Dark Continent.
This discovery made Ron think back once more to what Maha had said earlier—and the possibility that his grandfather's theory was more than plausible.
"When I reach the Dark Continent, I'll look for it."
Ron looked into the distance, his gaze sharpening.

Elsewhere, Killua had returned to his room, only to be summoned almost immediately by Milluki.
In the estate's main hall, nearly all members of the Zoldyck heir line had gathered—excluding Alluka.
Kikyo, Illumi, Silva, Zeno, Milluki, Kalluto—everyone was present.
Zeno and Silva sat in the central seats. Kikyo stood at Silva's side. Milluki was seated across from them on a cushioned armchair.
Kalluto stood beside Kikyo.
Illumi leaned casually against a nearby column.
Killua stood opposite Silva and Zeno.
"Killua, I heard you've had quite the journey since leaving the estate. Care to tell us about it?"
Killua hesitated for a moment, then began to recount his story—starting from Heaven's Arena, moving to Whale Island, then Yorknew, and finally Greed Island. After the Greed Island journey, he and Gon became embroiled in the Chimera Ant incident.
"I removed the Nen needle Illumi planted in my head."
When he said this, his tone was heavy, and he shot a sharp glance toward Illumi—no longer calling him "big brother."
Illumi met his gaze calmly.
"I set that up for your own good. As long as your strength reached a certain level, you would've discovered it sooner or later. It was just… weighted training, wasn't it? And it worked, didn't it?"
Killua's expression darkened.
"Illumi."
"Killua, don't tell me you think you're stronger than me now just because you removed that needle?"
Illumi's aura surged forward, extending toward Killua.
Killua instinctively sensed the gap between them and took a step back.
Illumi gave a soft smile.
"Just joking. Don't get so worked up, my dear little brother."
Silva glanced at Illumi, then redirected the conversation.
"Killua, what are your plans now?"
"Me? I don't know."
Killua shook his head. "Kite's death hit Gon really hard. He'll probably stay withdrawn for a while, and I don't want to disturb him."
"That's why I followed Ron-nii back to the Zoldyck estate."
"Maybe it's time I find a way to improve my own strength."
"I still don't think I'm strong enough."

(Note: Non-fighting nene best were not mentioned in the list.
Also, what do you all think about this newst nen beast?)
