Chen Feng wasn't really interested in Three Fingers' house in Shanghai.
From his perspective, he already owned plenty of properties, and besides, the housing market across the country wasn't doing well. The potential for growth wasn't great, and fewer people were involved in stockpiling and speculating on houses.
Chen Feng certainly didn't have any intentions of speculating on houses. Those people speculated to make money, but for Chen Feng, making money was incredibly easy. If he truly wanted to earn money, playing the stock market was more convenient and faster for him. Speculating on houses seemed too troublesome.
So, even though Three Fingers seemed sincere and didn't appear to be trying to deceive him, Chen Feng still shook his head and declined: "You should find someone else. If what you're saying is true, there are plenty of people who would lend on such private mortgages. After all, three to four million isn't much for some people."
