Time endlessly flowed by as Jason dedicated himself to a life of eating, sleeping, and training.

Meticulously completing the tasks issued by the system, Jason's training became even more rigorous than it had been before, especially since there were no time restrictions. Swinging the sword 100,000 times took him ten days to finish. The push-ups and squats proved even more challenging, and without a daily quota, it took him 17 days to complete.

Initially, the system hadn't intended to impose strict daily tasks, which would have granted Jason some leeway. However, Jason unexpectedly completed everything ahead of schedule.

"What a blunder!" the system sighed internally.

"Uh-huh!"

The moment the task was marked complete, Jason felt a warm surge flood through his limbs, filling him with energy!

His muscles firmed, his skin felt revitalized, and every part of him brimmed with strength! He felt like he could crush a cow with a single punch! Unable to contain himself, Jason stretched his body and let out a satisfied groan.

"Hoo~"

"How delightful!"

"I've never felt anything like this before!"

Feeling invigorated, Jason felt compelled to test his newfound strength. He spotted a hefty tree as thick as two people's arms intertwined and unleashed a powerful punch against it. Wood splintered and flew, and the tree rattled with visible cracks along its trunk.

The single punch demonstrated at least a thousand pounds of force, leaving Jason highly satisfied!

Checking his status panel brought a smile to his face. Although most statistics remained relatively unchanged, the description in the brackets shifted from "slightly more powerful cannon fodder" to "possesses a modicum of self-preservation ability."

This change was significant, indeed!

As long as Jason kept incentivizing the system, he had no doubt it would issue more tasks. He believed he could become the strongest person in the world within just a few years.

Time flew by with astonishing speed; four years slipped by in a blink! It was now the year 1502.

At just 10 years old, Jason found himself alongside Robin, now 8 years old. It was in this very year that the incident in O'Hara transpired, an event that filled Jason with trepidation.

Two years prior, Gol D. Roger, who embodied wealth, fame, and power, was executed in Loguetown, East Blue. Jason, being a devoted pirate fan, attended the historic event. How could he possibly miss such a momentous occasion?

At age 8, Jason traveled to Loguetown with a merchant caravan. During the trip, he interrupted a passerby to ask a question about Roger.

Fortunately, he caught the passerby's attention just as they were about to ask it themselves!

Naturally, the passerby asked the question anyway—Roger's response followed shortly after.

Indeed, it was clear that plot developments weren't easily altered!

As Jason stood on the deck watching O'Hara grow closer, he couldn't help but smile at the thought of seeing Robin again. He had been away for nearly two months, and he imagined she'd be thrilled to see him upon his return, given they had previously only been apart for a month at most.

"System! Show me the panel!"

Host: Portgas D. Jason

Age: 10 years old

Swordsmanship: Advanced

Haki: Intermediate Armament Haki, Beginner Observation Haki

Physical Skills: Marine Six Styles: Shaving

(Considered a capable individual with self-preservation abilities)

Over the past four years, Jason had effectively coerced the system into issuing tasks, breaking its spirit—it no longer cared to accommodate him.

It wasn't uncommon for tasks to remain dormant for months, the longest gap being five months. If it weren't for the occasional conversations Jason held with the system, he might have thought it had become defunct.

After Roger's execution, the system begrudgingly issued an intermediate Armament Haki mission!

Previously, task rewards focused on physical enhancements or expedited recovery. However, Jason understood that Haki was essential for true strength in the pirate world—especially Conqueror's Haki.

From the beginning, Jason's goal had been to master Haki, though he lamented that despite his efforts, the system remained unyielding in offering a Conqueror's Haki reward.

Nonetheless, after the execution, rewards for sword skills improved drastically, and options for physical abilities, Haki, and even weapons became available!

Currently, Jason wielded the famed sword Zhenheng, one of the 21 skillful swords of supreme grade.

When the merchant ship docked, Jason waved goodbye to the captain and hopped off, having taken care of the shipping fees in advance.

Merchant ships faced greater threats from pirates since the start of the Great Pirate Era. Despite his young age, Jason was recognized as a top-tier fighter in the first half of the Grand Line. His presence meant the caravan was under no threat, and the captain happily covered his fees as part of the escort service.

Jason demonstrated his abilities whenever necessary, ensuring the caravan's safety time and time again!

As the ship docked at the port, Jason wasn't in a hurry—after all, he was returning home. He strolled leisurely toward his seaside cabin.

The ship Jason had previously drifted on had succumbed to the sea's wear over the years. He didn't mind; he had hired craftsmen to build a two-story cabin and relocated everything he owned there.

Facing the sea, surrounded by spring flowers and a fenced yard filled with various plants, Jason remembered his love for gardening from his previous life.

Having been away for so long, Jason was pleasantly surprised to find no dust in the house. Robin had clearly visited often to keep the place tidy. Only the two of them held keys to the cabin!

Carrying a gift, Jason approached the spot where Robin often read. Sure enough, he found her sitting atop a wooden post, engrossed in a book!

Thanks to Jason's care over the past few years, Robin no longer looked as frail as she had in the original story. She had filled out naturally, her growth steady with proper nourishment—and she was even taller than Jason!

"Shave!"

Jason crept up behind Robin, covering her mouth and pressing a wooden knife against her back, lowering his voice.

"Don't move! If you do, I won't go easy on you!"

To his surprise, Robin didn't panic as he had expected. Instead, thin arms sprouted from her body, wrapping around his neck and effectively restraining his hands.

Not that Jason couldn't escape—he knew how to counter her—but the sensation was real, and he didn't want to hurt her.

Robin soon realized it was Jason and released her grip.

"Jason? You're finally back!" she exclaimed, stepping forward excitedly.

Concern had been etched across her face, now replaced with joy. Jason's returns were always met with gifts—whether beautiful clothes, delicious food, or interesting trinkets.

Jason affectionately patted her head, a habit he had grown fond of, and Robin didn't seem to mind—she even enjoyed it.

He pulled out the gift he had brought.

Robin eagerly opened it.

"Wow! It's strawberry cake!"

"I brought it back just for you! Eat it quickly!" Jason urged.

"Then I'll dig in!"

She didn't hold back and immediately took a bite of the cake, cream smearing across her face, making her look adorably messy!

Jason smiled fondly, delighted by the transformation he noticed in Robin. After spending time together over the years, her cheerful demeanor had blossomed.

After two bites, Robin playfully tore off a piece and stuffed it in Jason's mouth!

"You eat too!"

"Mmm, it's so delicious!" he replied, grinning.

"Yay!"

After devouring the cake, Jason and Robin ambled along the beach. One inquired about the events of the days spent apart, while the other recounted their memories in detail!

"Ah! I just remembered—I need to return some books to the Tree of Omniscient Library this afternoon!"

"Then I'll accompany you!" Jason announced enthusiastically.

The duo set off toward the colossal tree residing in the heart of Ohara Island.

As they walked, some villagers eyed Robin strangely, but no one dared insult her; a few even averted their gaze.

Jason had built a reputation over four years; everyone knew about the boy who protected Robin. No one dared touch her, for they knew Jason's wrath would follow.

He had previously dealt harshly with the four little brats who bullied Robin, beating them until they were bedridden for half a month!

Remarkably, he eventually confronted their parents too—to instill fear of death.

The residents on the island were so frightened they didn't express their anger. Although Ohara was relatively tranquil over the last two years, threats from pirates still loomed occasionally.

Jason intervened multiple times and managed to dispatch many pirates in the presence of the townsfolk, which only heightened their fear and awareness of his capability.

Feeding off Jason's dominance, even the attitude of Robin's uncle and family improved significantly—they no longer insisted on making her do endless chores.

Correctly fearing his power, Robin walked ahead proudly, absorbing every moment of Jason's possession and protection.

Half an hour later, they arrived at the Tree of Omniscient Library. The townspeople inside already recognized them!

Everyone welcomed them warmly!

Robin was immediately addressed within the library—having borrowed books since childhood, the historical scholars acknowledged her as a studious child with remarkable abilities.

Among them was Dr. Clover, the first scholar to accept Robin, allowing her to study archaeology with other individuals. He recognized her remarkable intelligence, often astounded by her comprehension.

"Dr. Clover, I'm back to return the book!" she declared cheerfully!

"Oh, it's little Robin and Jason! Hand it over!" Dr. Clover called out as he emerged from his office, looking reminiscent of a human-shaped bush.

"Dr. Clover, how many times do I have to tell you not to call me 'little Jason'? It sounds almost like 'little Jaye'!" Jason protested, rolling his eyes.

"Well! Let's not dwell on the little things, little Jason! Do you have any desire to study archaeology with us?" Clover asked.

Being an avid One Piece enthusiast and a high-achieving student from his past life, Jason had absorbed everything he could about the story and its world. Even the briefest mention of history sent Dr. Clover reeling in disbelief.

Clover was all too eager to invite Jason into their scholarly endeavor, but Jason declined, his resolve firm.

"No! I want to train and grow stronger! It's the only way I can protect Robin!"

Hearing this, Dr. Clover nodded knowingly but turned toward Robin instead.

"Little Robin, you're set to take the exam for your doctorate in archaeology in a few days. Are you confident?"

"Of course, Doctor! I'm very confident!" Robin replied, waving her small hands enthusiastically.

After returning the books, Robin borrowed another archaeology book to take along, exiting the library alongside Jason.

...

The following days felt routine—nothing extraordinary happened, providing them with ample time to explore their daily lives together.

One radiant morning, Jason was out practicing sword swings, still diligently refining the basics despite his advanced swordsmanship.

"Jason!"

Early that day, Robin appeared.

"You've been away for a while! Did your exam conclude?" Jason inquired.

"Indeed! I finished it yesterday, so I came to see you today!" she replied brightly.

"Let's go!" Jason exclaimed.

"Where to?"

"I'm taking you out for a grand feast to celebrate your accomplishment!"

"Isn't it customary to have a meal after you've succeeded?" Robin laughed lightly.

Jason paid no mind to traditions, tugging Robin along as he daydreamed of catching a celebratory feast, not caring much for the details of the hunt.

Plus, his growing appetite rivaled that of Luffy's; they nearly spent 100,000 Beli on food before finally calling it quits!

After their meal and wondering what they could do at the Tree of Omniscient Library, Jason decided to accompany Robin back.

As they stepped inside the library, Robin was greeted with a display of vibrant fireworks.

"Congratulations, Robin!"

"You truly are Olvia's child!"

Dr. Clover and an assembly of scholars surrounded them, cheering and applauding in jubilant excitement.

Dr. Clover produced a small box from his pocket and opened it, presenting it to Robin.

"Congratulations, Robin! You earned a perfect score in your archaeology doctorate exam! From this day forward, you will be called Dr. Historian! Here's your badge, proudly representing your identity!"

"Really?!!" Robin exclaimed in disbelief.

"Absolutely!"

"Thank you, Doctor!"

She leaped into the air, exuberance dancing across her face, while Jason rejoiced alongside her.

"Congratulations, Robin! You're incredible! It seems celebrating today's banquet was worth it after all!" Jason chuckled.

"Everyone, listen up!" Dr. Clover spoke, a serious tone taking precedence.

"Okay, Doctor!"

"This five-thousand-year-old Omniscient Tree possesses an extensive array of historical documents gathered from around the world over unimaginable time. It stands as the most significant and ancient library worldwide! It is our duty, as historians, to interpret these documents and unravel the world's historical enigmas!

"You must keep this in mind, as everything is at stake when you study those texts to contribute positively to our understanding of history!"

"I understand, Doctor. Will I also be able to study the blank century in history?" Robin's voice brimmed with anticipation.

Upon hearing this, Dr. Clover's eyes nearly popped out of his head as he was rendered speechless.

"What… what?? No! Anything else is acceptable, but that is a forbidden topic!"
