"Wait… WHAT?!" Elena shouted, staring at me like I'd completely lost my mind.
Honestly, I couldn't blame her reaction. The plan I'd just explained to them probably sounded absolutely insane. But we were going through with it anyway—that's exactly why I'd made them agree to it before telling them what it actually involved.
"It's simple," I repeated, trying to keep my voice steady. "We trap sunlight inside ice balls."
Elena looked like she was about to explode. Her face was turning red, and I could practically see steam coming out of her ears.
"Listen to me," I said firmly, glancing over at Leon, who was shaking his head like he'd finally found concrete proof that I was completely out of my mind. "It's actually possible, okay? So stop looking at me like I've grown a second head."
"How?!" Elena screamed, her voice echoing through the room. "HOW DO YOU EVEN PLAN TO DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT?"
I clicked my tongue in annoyance. These people had no imagination.
