Nephis was building the boat making a lot of progress, she was worried for sunny but knew if it was him he could do it. Cassie was eating a fruit from the tree and enjoying her time chating with nephis.
Nephis would be done by morning if nothing interupted her. She was better at doing it this time and was going as fast as possible. She was still worried for sunny and knew he would come back in the morning in the earliest. She wanted to be there with him but she had her own worries of making this boat work nd float.
She was going to make sure that they go as far from here as soon as possible. She would use the sorcery of names to summon the wind and the name that hides their presence with cassies memory as the cloth on the sail. As cassie was eating the fruit she was annoyed at the fact that her power with memories wasn't with her and was blocked by the stupid tree. She was loosing her sense of self while on the island and wanted to get the hell away from here as soon as possible.
In the morning nephis was finaly done with the boat just as the dark sea dissapeared. Cassie was asleep, near her and was waiting for sunny to come back. After another hour sunny was finaly comming down the tree, he was bruised and had a lot of blood on him. He was bearly brething and looked like he would die any second now. When nephis noticed she instantly went over to heal him. He was laying on the ground looking as if he would die any second now, then he was enveloped by a shining radiance and he was healing he was relived. Nephis had her hands on his chest and head, she was worried about what happaned, sunny told nephis that in the nest was an egg that would consume someones life force or something like that. The egg was supposed to be harmless if you didn't posess a normal soul core to the touch. And he was probalby the only person whi didn't.
When sunny was healed he said:" i'm ok, the egg somehow hatched and i had to kill the spawn of the vile thieving bird. I bearly did it but im here so that is all it matters." Sunny did lose his puppeteurs shroud so he was naked right now because he didn't have any armor type memories. Nephis did however.
"What the hell sunny. I trust you that you can take care of something by yourself and now you barely survive and lose your armor and who knows what else." Neph was mad, she trusted sunny everything would go the way it did the previous time, she forgot about his atribute and was careless. She didn't want to lose him too.

Sunny immediately summoned the memory and was a bit uncomfortable laying down with it so he dissmised the top layer and laid back down, only to be met by neph's lap. He blushed and closed his eyes falling into mutch neded sleep. Neph started pating his head and huming a song she would fall asleap to with her grandmother. She kised his cheek and continued huming.
Sunny woke up a few hours later with neph playing with his hair. " good morning sunny, i hope you slept well." Neph was happy with how things turned out, ( she ment him sleeping on her lap, not the thing before that.)
" it was amazing, how long have i sleept anyway."
"About 8 or 9 hours. Im suprised you only slept that little after what happaned."
"Well you healed me and i was able to rest well in your company, so it doesn't suprise me. Also, should we make our way to the boat, i want to leave this palce as soon as possible."
"Yeah sure, i'll go take cassie you get on the boat, and get it ready. I'll be there in a sec."
When the trio got on the boat neph used the sorcery of names to hide their presence, use the wind on the sail as well as using cassies staff for extra speed and her armour for the sails.
Once they reached far enough sunny started his story:" so when i went to the nest of the egg it started to hatch, and i was quick enough to evade the first atack, even tought it just hatched it was hungry for blood, it was fast, strong, big and scary. I tried to run away but couldn't do anything, it was too fast, so i tried to fight it and it didn't go well. It suprised me with the speed and managed to knock me away almost making me fall of the tree. Then the 'unbroken' enchantment of the midnight shard started working and i started healing. When i was atacked again i beaely managed to evade the atack from the beak trying to eat me and i augmented the midnight shard with the shadow and baerly managed to cut its neck."
Nephis and cassie were stuned, sunny just killed a great devil while a sleeper, and lived after.
Sunny continued: "after i killed it i dissmised the midnight shard in time before it broke, the neck was realy tough and my arms felt like they would snap if i tried to move them. But i atleast got something from that bastard. Guess what"
"Sunny if you tell me that you got a memory and an echo i will....i will take away you'r....i give up. What did you get."
"I got a memory and its a weapon. And i may or may not have gotten an echo. I'm sorry, i realy am."
Sunny knew he was done for, when neph turned to face him she was furrious he got 2 echoes and 2 memories from 2 nightmare creatures that could kill countless lives if released to the public. His luck was simply unpredictable. 'Damn that stupid atribute of his, why can't i ever get lucky like that.'
"I will forgive you if you let me have the carapace demon echo, its not like you need it, you already have a great devil." She said the last part in a mocking tone, she was annoyed but gald she was with him and could get some good things from his atribute, and obviously she loved him and cared, she just didn't really know how to show it.
"Sure, if that is all you want." Sunny leaned close to her and wisperwd in her ear:" i'll be sure to make it up to you when this is all over." Sunny was proud of himself for trusting his flaw with the right time to let things out. Neph meanwhile was red as a tomato and bearly focusing on stearing the boat, she didn't expect him to say something like that.
Soon they finaly saw the walls of the bright castle. So far nothing atacked them, sunny was looking at the memory that he got, he was stuned. The runes read:

Memory description: The Vile Thieving Birds spawn got the power of his parent Vile Thieving Bird, the spawn was left in a region far from its parent awaiting the day it would be born. The spawns parent was feared even by the gods, so they sealed it in a river that flows from the future to the past. To not make the mistake of letting the spawn hatch, the gods left it in a place far away from any sustainable life.The powers of the spawn was weakened by staying so long traped in a shell, waiting for the day to be released to grow stronger and get rid of anyone who dares to stay in its path. The spawn finaly hatched despite the curse put upon it by the gods, but it was the wrong time for it. On the day of the hatching a divine shadow apeared looking for the spawn, awaiting to kill it. The divine shadow was weak but cunning, way more than the spawn anticapated, that led it to its down fall. The talons from the parent of the spawn were a gift for it to survive any danger, but the spawn was to cocky and made the biggest mistake you could make, it underastimated its oponent.
Sunny was stuned, he didn't expect that, 'im glad it was cocky and not taking me seriously, or it would have been ugly for everyone on the forgotten shore.'

Enchantment descriotion[Extreem]: the users sences are a lot sharper and can pierce into the souls of living beings without problem and even damage them from far away.
Enchantment descriotion[Blood absorber]: the more blood the talons taste the faster, stronger and more agile the owner will be. When reaching max capacity the owner can use this enchantment to heal himself.
Sunny was happy and confused and didn't know what to do, he wanted to know what [?b??] Does but was scared and it also needed to use essence to activate. So even if he wanted to use it he couldn't. Finaly he summoned the memory to se what it looked like.
When sunny sumoned the talons, 2 marble white daggers apeared, each was 50cm long and was curved, they were sharp and sunny felt stronger now. Nephis turned to look at sunny, when she saw the memory she was stuned. It looked extreamly powerfull and sharp. She was a little jelous.
"We are close to the walls, get ready to get away from the boat and resurface." She said that trying to not sound jelous of sunny's new weapon.
Sunny dissmised the memory and was geting ready. They didn't know the state of the castle so they didn't know what to expect when they climbed the wall. When they found a stair case to the bottom they heard something eating the creatures. When they entered they saw a familiar scene. Effie was there, eating a bone and visibly enjoying it. Sunny smiled when he saw that, and relied the situation to neph and cessie. All of them were happy about meeting effie when they returned to the dark city. Sunny was first to enter the room effie was in, he bearly reacted to the bone that almost hit his head.
"Who are you?" Said effie in an angry tone, annoyed by the fact she couldn't eat in peace.
"Im sunless, this is cassie and nephis. We came here to the city to find a gateway and escape this place."
"Oh, so you guys are from the newest batch of sleepers that came in a month ago."
"Yes, we hoped to get to the gate way, could you please guide us there."
"Huh, well sorry to be the one to tell you this but, there is no gateway here. It isn't conqured yet and it probably won't be ever, so good luck."
This time nephis spoke:" what do you mean it wasn't conqured yet, how have all of the people survived here then"
"It's because the so called king of this place gunlaug is keeping people safe in the castle, aslong as you can pay the weekly fee of 1 soul shard you can stay inside of the castle. If not, you need to stay in the slums near the walls of the castle."
Nephis was annoyed and frustrated, even if she didn't let it show, sunny noticed the slight change in her mood. He wispered:" it's gonna be better this time." Sunny knew this time it was going to be easier going trought the jurney, hopefully.
Cassie was just standing there waiting for them to stop the conversation, she was still angry about what happaned before they entered the dream realm. When effie finally let them sit down and eat some food, cassie had to be fed by nephis, because she forbade sunny of doing it, he was just enjoying his food not as mutch as neph's food but it's ok.
"Alright, i suggest you guys sleep right now and follow me to the bright castle in the morning, do you even have any soul shards, if not you are gonna have to hunt some nightmare creatures in the morning."
"We have 2, will you help us get some more in the morning, so we can all get in." Said nephis sounding a little desperate, sunny knew it was an act and didn't react.
"Sure as long as you leave the bodies to me so i can eat them, it's my flaw btw, i have to eat a lot more than a normal person for my aspect to work and my flaw not to kill me."
"Sure, lets go to sleep now, i'll take first watch." Said sunny while getting up and being ready to train with his new weapon, to get accustomed to it and start being a little more serious about shadow dance. It would take a while for it to feel right, but he knew it would be easier to try and copy some of the dances he remembered to use them for his progress. He hadn't fought many people who used daggers, it was mostly because daggers were rare memories, had short reach and not very good for actual fights, most of the daggers were for utility and not for fighting. Sunny only fought 3 people who used daggers as their main weapons, 1 of them used duals the problem was they were all awakened and didn't really have any fighting styles for it.
"Sure, i'll go to sleep, wake me up in the morning" effie was already in a sleeping pose ready to dose off. Nephis was also ready to sleep, but she wanted to check something, and that was the description of the vile thieving bird's talon's. She wanted to see if sunny somehow made his way into it. And he did, not very suprising but the rank the rank was V not IV as he told them, 'it probably raised a rank after hatching. Well, atleast it's gonna be a lot of help.' When sunny was getting tired of training he went to wake neph up and finally went to sleep.
In the morning effie was leading sunny, nephis and cassie to one of the nightmare creatures they could kill and get soul shards. The creature was a blood fiend, sunny was nostalgic about his first encounter that almost killed him when fighting it.
"The easiest way to kill it is to pierce the heart or chop off the head. Also don't get hit by it and bleed, they get a boost in strenght, speed and defense when they smell blood." Effie warned them about all the other things they should be carefull of, like getting their feelings in control, toughts and the rest.
"Hey, doffus, if you can't stand being behind me ask to get slaped, ok."
"You aren't my type so there is no need to slap me." Said sunny, it was true, he only loved nephis and nobody else.
"So that's how it is, well then, can i assume you already have a girlfriend, and beat the greenhorn allegations"
"Yea and yes" sunny didn't let it show but he was annoyed of effie's jokes, he didn't miss them at all. Nephis was furious she forgot about effie's jokes and got too comfortable. She wished she could teach her a lesson but knew she needed her at full power. Sunny wanted to summon Vile Thieving Birds Spawn to teach her a lesson but knew it had better uses. Then he remembered he forgot to check the atributes of the spawn.
