Crocodile, a character Vivian knew well from the anime, was a familiar face. Despite knowing who he was, Vivian couldn't quite gauge his strength. In the original story, Crocodile, a renowned Warlord of the Sea, was defeated by an early-stage Luffy and sent to Impel Down. If the same had happened to Doflamingo or Mihawk, the title of Warlord would lose its significance.
