Kit sat on the edge of his large four-poster bed and focused on his breathing whilst his hands trembled, '5, 4, 3, 2, 1...'
He took a deep steadying breath and whispered to himself consolingly:
"It's only Cas, it's only Cas, he'll understand, he won't laugh, he won't make me feel - "
His head jerked up at the sound of his door alarm and he bolted towards it, ignoring the heavy sensation of anxiety that had settled inside him.
The moment that the door slid open with a quiet thud and he saw Casimir standing there with a bright, infectious smile, his bleached hair carefully styled and wearing a plain grey t-shirt and dark, ripped jeans, the weight lifted away like it had never been there to begin with.
"Hi handsome. Why did you call me over? Were you missing me already?" He gave him a flirtatious wink and brushed his hair back away from his bright, ruby eyes.
