After the night fell, Till Atallah made his way through the checkpoint of Zone 3 and entered the Outskirts.
Boarding a tram, he watched the sprawling city streets of dark alleyways and high-rise apartments pass him by with nervous anticipation.
'What am I even expecting from this? That he's going to tell me the truth and explain in a way that will magically justify everything he's done? You're an idiot, Dietrich.'
He leant his head against the cool glass and sighed at the depressing gloom of the dark sky, rolling with deep purple clouds.
'I just want to understand. I don't believe what Ezra said. There's more. There has to be more to him than that. I want to understand him.'
