Torval's workshop hummed with the clatter of hammers and the sharp smell of hot metal. Yoko, leaning against a shelf, watched Sorey vanish into the market crowd, his gray coat billowing behind him. "He's a good guy," she murmured, a soft smile on her lips.
Kaiser smirked, crossing his arms. "That's why you friendzoned him, huh?"
Areyos burst out laughing, his eyes twinkling. "Yeah, I noticed that too."
Yoko rolled her eyes, cheeks slightly pink. "Stop talking shit. He's not into me."
"If you say so," Areyos said, holding back another laugh.
Kaiser yawned loudly. "Alright, let's move. Shopping's exhausting."
Eli, with a smug look, chimed in, "We haven't bought anything here. Those beast cores look cool. If Sorey got all that for 13 million Kera, imagine what we could get with our money!"
Areyos shot him a sharp look. "You're not buying anything. It'll make you lazy. You'll have to hunt monsters in dungeons over and over to get your own beast cores sometimes. Let's go."
