Sakura Temple, Sakura Empire
June 14, 1942
11:30 AM
Musashi opened her eyes as she finished her prayer, her feeling of dread dissipating as her motivation renewed. She stood up and turned around to meet the eyes of the other Shipgirls in the temple, then gave a motivational speech.
"Fellow warriors of the Sakura Empire. Today we face the immense task of protecting our Empire. Azur Lane attacked us moments ago, after their declaration of war. Because of our carelessness, our Military Bases and Supply Lines were attacked.... But this time, we will face them in our own waters with our own determination to win! Sakura Empire will live and prevail. We are blessed by our ancestors' courage and fate. A fate that we will rise on top." She paused briefly to gauge their reaction.
Everyone was silent as they listened intently to her motivational speech.
"Today we will face them because we are the warriors and protectors of the Sakura Empire. The Gods and Goddesses of the Empire are with us in this battle."
The Sakura Empire's Shipgirls cheered in response to the motivational speech their Flagship had delivered.
"Everyone to your Battle stations.... Let's meet our foes on the battlefield." She waved her hand forward.
"HAHAHA. Finally, I can use my newly repaired Katana. So now I can slash that bunny in half. HAHAHA," Hakuryuu proudly remarked.
The poor Swordsmith had worked day and night to repair Hakuryuu's Katana. The Katana that the Shipgirls used was made of a stronger metal than that used for Battleship armor, making it hard to forge without the help of heavy machinery.
That Swordsmith had finished the Katana just in time, as she had visited him daily. This reached a point where passing locals grew suspicious of the two.
Takao whispered under her breath, clutching the hilt of her Katana. "This time, I'm going to defeat you in this battle, Lucas."
Atago's dog ears twitched as she heard her sister murmur. "Ara~Ara. Still thinking about that man, even in this peculiar situation."
"W-What?" Takao exclaimed. Atago then hugged her from behind. "Atago, get serious, will you? We are in a crisis right now!"
Atago let go of Takao from her hug. "Okay, Ma'am...."
"Finally, I can face 'Grey Ghosto' again," Zuikaku exclaimed. She had missed the Battle of Midway because she and her sister were suddenly deployed in the South Pacific to monitor Siren activities.
"Don't get cocky this time.... Our opponent is stronger than us," Shoukaku warned Zuikaku of the danger of the Modern Kansens.
"Don't worry, I'll be fine," Zuikaku reassured her sister, though she wouldn't directly face a Modern Kansen.
Shoukaku crossed her arms, giving her sister an unconvinced look. "You've always said that multiple times, but you always rush into battle recklessly."
Souryuu spoke to her sister. "Gomenni, Hiryuu-san, you couldn't join the fight alongside me because your ship was hit."
"It's alright, Nee-san, I'm just going to provide you with information at the Base of operation," Hiryuu replied, somewhat disappointed she couldn't join her sister.
Souryuu put her hand on Hiryuu's shoulder. "I'll appreciate it; giving information at the Base is enough help for us."
Yukikaze cracked her knuckles. "Finally, we can kick those kids' butts. This time I will go all out!" she exclaimed.
Shigure interjected. "Are you sure about that?"
"I am Yukikaze the Great, and no one can beat me with my firepower," Yukikaze retorted.
The two were now growling and hissing at each other like literal cats and dogs.
"Guys, don't fight here," Ayanami tried to stop the two from fighting.
"Let them be. They are always insulting each other. So, I wouldn't worry about the two," Yuudachi remarked.
As everyone was hyped about the upcoming battle that would decide their history, Unzen at the corner felt something odd. Her senses as a warrior told her great danger was everywhere. She didn't know how, but her gut was telling her so.
Kongou noticed her and spoke. "Sorry about your Ship; the others felt the same."
"I'm not worried about my ship getting taken out in the initial strike; rather, I'm concerned about this gut-wrenching feeling I have," she said, uncertain.
Kongou pondered. "Well, you're not the only one making odd senses; others felt the same. Nobody knows, but some absurdities have occurred around the Empire for the past few weeks."
This intrigued Unzen.
"Bases often found misplaced files, and officers and guards were found sleeping on their duties. And the Girls also mentioned that there's something in the forest, some say it was a Yokai with green glowing eyes. No one has proven it yet, as the young girls explained with different iterations."
"Yup, that sounded like them.... Kids these days still believe in folk tales," Unzen said, dismissing the words of a child.
"But some considered it bizarre."
"Like what?"
"Those encounters happened at the same time. Lady Musashi was intrigued and launched investigations, but the attack happened, and no further report was brought."
Unzen took a moment to ponder the dots and eventually dismissed it. "Maybe it's just rumored hearsay. I'll go back to my duty; I need to protect the remaining ones," Unzen said, heading to the Secret Bunker where the rest of the surviving Military Heads conducted and planned for a counterattack.
Sakura Empire East Sea
1:00 PM
Souryuu, Shoukaku, and Zuikaku were speeding in the direction of the Task Force. Their mission was to engage the Azur Lane Carriers to separate them from the massive Carrier, so that the massive Carrier could not call for reinforcement when the 1st Carrier Division struck.
"Are you sure this is the right direction?" Zuikaku asked, gripping the hilt of her katana tightly.
Souryuu fixed her glasses. "Hai. According to the eyewitnesses from the fishermen and the reconnaissance planes from the Imperial Army Air Corps, before they were intercepted by Azur Lane interceptors in that direction."
Shoukaku interjected. "So, that's why we are using the terrain of the islands surrounding the Empire?"
"According to Iron Blood, the Modern Kansens use advanced radar to detect us and our planes. To avoid their radar detections, we must use the terrain of the Empire to avoid any detection."
"That's quite genius coming from the Iron Blood," Zuikaku exclaimed.
"They didn't call their nation advanced for no reason," Shoukaku added.
Souryuu whispered under her breath. "I hope you're right, Eugen...." Then her bunny ear twitched as she heard a whizzing noise.
"Huh???" she then looked up and saw a shadowy figure moving in the sun. she squinted her eyes, her glasses glinted. Then it came fully into her view. "SBDs!"
*BOOM*
A sudden explosion surprised the three as they sailed closer to the shore; the explosion was close to them. They looked upward to find that the sky was full of SBD Dauntless Dive Bombers, their expressions darkening.
"How did they find us?!" Shoukaku exclaimed.
"Grey Ghosto!" Zuikaku shouted as she launched her A6M Zero to intercept the incoming Dive Bombers.
Souryuu cursed under her breath. "Damn it, Eugen, your idea didn't work!"
Enterprise-6 pointed and readied her bow as Zuikaku rushed toward her. She released arrows made of energy. Zuikaku slashed every arrow that Enterprise-6 threw at her, sailing toward her at full speed without slowing down.
Zuikaku almost got closer to her, then an F4F Wildcat showed up and sprayed her with bullets. Zuikaku slashed the bullets with her katana, but this gave Enterprise-6 a window of opportunity.
One SBD Dauntless Dive Bomber was diving towards her; she couldn't move in time to dodge the dive bombing. The SBD Dauntless Dive Bomber suddenly burst into flames; one A6M Zero shot it down before it dropped its bomb.
"How many times do I have to tell you not to be so reckless!" Shoukaku scolded Zuikaku for being reckless.
"Sorry, Sis. She dodged my Wildcats," Hornet exclaimed.
"No need to apologize; you just did what I told you," Enterprise-6 reassured her sister.
Zuikaku, Shoukaku, and Souryuu were in a standoff with Enterprise-6, Hornet, and Lexington. Their eyes were locked on each other, their fingers fiddling with their weapons as they waited for the one who would draw first.
Musashi Fleet
Musashi's Fleet engaged in a firefight with Battleship versus Battleship. The Kongou Class, with their not completely repaired superstructures, joined the fight.
Ryuuhou, Katsuragi, Ryuujou, Houshou, Shouhou, Chitose, and Chiyoda launched a bunch of Bombers and Fighters to provide the fleet with Air-Cover and Air-Support.
Above them, Spitfires and Wildcats clashed with Zeros, as the sky was full of buzzing airplane noise and a rain of bullets from each plane.
HMS Prince of Wales' Turrets swiveled to the starboard side, the 15-inch guns raised as they prepared to fire. Wales raised her saber and yelled, "FIRE!"
Her Battleship's 14-inch guns roared to life as they breathed fire and spewed 14-inch shells that raced toward the direction of the Sakuran Battleship.
USS Texas aimed her MK 1 14-inch Naval Gun. Texas yelled, "Yeehaw...!!!" The guns on her ship lit up as water rippled around her ship's hull.
"Okay, remember our Battle line formation?" Pennsylvania asked the Eagle Union Battleships. They all replied, "Yes."
The Standard Battleships formed their Battle line, their guns pointed to the starboard sides. The Battleships released their fury as they fired simultaneously.
A flurry of 14-inch Shells flew over as the Standard Battleships spouted their deadly payload out of their barrels.
The Sakuran Battleships also returned the favor by unleashing their own 14-inch Shells at the Azur Lane Battleship Formation.
The whole Battle between Battleships was like an epic story worth telling, as they fired from their broadsides. Naval Artillery still lived on in the era of planes and guided munitions.
F-35Bs armed with Peregrine Missile shot down the flying formation of Zeros above. CIWS and CLaWS worked together to give the Battleships an umbrella of Air-Defense.
"Looks like I'm a 'Carrier' now," Essex-12 exclaimed. She then raised her Flight Deck rigging as F-35Bs armed with Air-to-Air Missiles launched. "Okay, I'll show you why they called me 'Lightning Carrier'."
F-35Bs joined the fray, starting to shoot down A6M Zeros with Peregrine Missile. The F-35B's gun pods buzzed as they started cutting down the Zeros. The F-35Bs used their supersonic speed to avoid getting hit by bullets from the Zeros.
The F-35Bs lacked the maneuverability for dogfights, so the dogfighting was left to the Spitfires and Wildcats, while the other F-35Bs provided AWACS to the fleet.
"Look! That plane... is that hers?" Katsuragi exclaimed as she pointed at the Angular Aircraft.
"That's the same aircraft that bombed Hiryuu-sempai's ship," Chitose remarked. "Chiyoda, follow me. We need to avenge Hiryuu-sempai."
"Hai," Chiyoda replied as they both searched for the Shipgirl to whom the aircraft belonged. The two maneuvered through the battle, avoiding any enemy contact, conserving their planes and ammo to face the 'Carrier'.
"Where are you?! LUCAS!"
Takao shouted in anger, disappointed at not seeing him on the Battlefield. She searched through the battlefield looking for him, expecting to face him in this Battle but could not.
"Takao, slow down.... He might be positioned far away from our location," Atago exclaimed as she held Takao's arms.
"Gommenni, Atago, I just got carried away...." Takao cooled down her head from chasing Lucas, but then she heard a familiar sound – the simultaneous firing of a rifle.
"That rifle! It's him! Let's go, Atago." Takao sailed at full speed toward the direction of the rifle firing, katana at the ready.
Atago sighed. "You heard her, Ladies," she remarked. Cruiser Maya and Choukai responded, "Hai." The Takao Class Cruisers headed in the direction of the rifle firing.
"There you are... I won't let you escape this time!"
In the fog of war, Takao slashed her Katana, but it was blocked by an M27 IAR. She smiled, remembering the rifle, but her smile faded as the owner of the rifle was not the one she expected to find. "What is the meaning of this?!"
Cleveland blocked Takao's katana with her M27 IAR. The rest of the Clevelands opened fire at Takao.
"Sorry.... You got the wrong one here," Cleveland remarked.
"Open fire!" Denver shouted as she fired her M27 IAR at Takao.
Takao backed off, avoiding the bullets coming from the Rifles that the Cleveland Sisters used. Bullets whizzed past her as she dodged.
"Shit! Those shots were accurate.... Did he train them? It is, that equipment belongs to him," Takao muttered.
"Cleveland, are you alright?" Columbia asked as she pointed her rifle at Takao, hand on the trigger, ready to fire.
The rest of the Takao Class Cruisers appeared behind Takao, swords at the ready. Takao pointed her katana at the Clevelands and asked them, "Tell me.... Where is he?!"
"Sorry, but he's not here. He has a mission that needed to be accomplished," Cleveland said, but Takao wasn't having any of it.
"Don't bullshit me!" Takao exclaimed.
Montpelier seized the opportunity and grabbed her Flashbang Grenade from her right chest pocket, throwing it at the Heavy Cruisers.
"I won't let you!" Choukai, not knowing it was a Flashbang Grenade, slashed it with her katana. Within seconds, the Flashbang Grenade exploded, the explosion disorienting the four Heavy Cruisers.
The Clevelands remembered Gunnery Sgt. Lucas's lecture about Flashbang Grenades. He told them they were good for disorienting their opponents, especially the Demi-humans with their super hearing.
"Damn you!" Takao cursed, covering her ringing dog ears.
"Fire!" The Clevelands opened fire at them with bullets, their Basic Training paying off. Their reaction speed and marksmanship had improved in a short amount of time.
Takao and her Sisters had no other choice but to retreat. They couldn't fight properly as their Dog ears rang from the Flashbang Grenades.
"Retreat!"
At Lafayette's Division
Lafayette looked at his division as they entered the Battlefield. Their primary task was to intercept any Destroyer that broke the first line of defense to head for the Task Force for a Torpedo launch. He then reloaded his Carl Gustave Recoilless Rifle with a HEAT round.
Unicorn's pet Unicorn glowed majestically as it turned into a Big Unicorn with wings. Unicorn rode her pet unicorn as she launched Spitfires with her two Flight Deck riggings. U-Chan flew above them.
Lafayette was having some weird thoughts as he stared at Unicorn riding her Pet Unicorn. An F-22 Raptor intercepted her and her pet unicorn with an AIM-9X Sidewinder. She was intercepted the American way of popping a balloon with a hundred-dollar Missile.
Lafayette shook his weird thoughts. "NO, NO, NO! Get your mind out of the gutter, Lafayette!" He focused his thoughts only on the Battle and not on stupid thoughts.
Laffey-459 noticed his slight mixed reaction. "Are you alright....?" she asked him as she got closer to his face.
"Yes, I'm alright," Lafayette exclaimed as he recoiled back from her being closer to his face.
"If you want, you can rest on my lap..." Laffey-459 said.
"Hell NO!" Lafayette screamed as beads of sweat dropped from his forehead.
"There you are."
Lafayette and Laffey-459 heard a girl's voice behind them; the voice was similar to someone they knew. They both turned around quickly to find the owner's voice.
Ayanami was standing there, sword at the ready, her serious gaze locked onto Lafayette. She then prepared her fighting stance. Lafayette pointed his Carl Gustave Recoilless Rifle at her.
"Do you still remember my message?" Ayanami asked.
~Flashback~
USS Lafayette FFG-64
Lafayette was inside his ship's armory room, putting on his gear. He reserved five Kevlar Vests for the girls in his division. Lucas knocked on the hatches door to get his attention. Lafayette stopped what he was doing.
He then spoke. "Hey."
Lucas spoke. "Do you still remember that Sakura Empire girl with horns?" He made horns with his fingers to visualize.
Lafayette confirmed without even looking at him. "You mean Ayanami?"
"Yes." Lucas smiled. "She had a message for you."
Lafayette turned. "A message... for me?" he asked, looking at Lucas in confusion at what he had just said to him.
"Yes.... She said, 'The next time we meet again, I will not hold back in fighting you.' Looks like Ayanami wants to kick your butt so bad that she will go all-in in this battle," Lucas said.
Lafayette looked down as he pondered. 'Not holding back, huh?'
He then returned his gaze to Lucas. "Thank you for informing me; I will remember that."
"Okay. I will take my leave now. Don't let a girl beat your ass..." Lucas said to him as he left the room, waving a hand. Lafayette continued what he was doing as he packed his gear.
~Flashback Ends~
"Yes. I remember your message, as clear as day," Lafayette remarked.
"Good. Let's continue our fight from that night, then." She then sprinted forward within seconds as she prepared her sword to slash with all her force.
Lafayette was having second thoughts about pulling the trigger of his Carl Gustave Recoilless Rifle as he pointed it at her.
"Fuck! I can't do it." He just pulled his saber sword to block her attack. The two swords sparked as they clashed with each other.
"Why are you hesitating?! Come on, fight me!" Ayanami yelled as she saw him hesitate for a second.
"I'm afraid I can't do that," Lafayette replied as he struggled to block her sword.
"Whoa...! She's going all in on him!" Yuudachi exclaimed.
"She really wants to fight him ever since that night," Shigure added.
Yukikaze saw Laffey-459 just looking at the two fighting with their swords. She pointed at her and yelled, "Hey! You, what are you looking at!"
"Danger..." Laffey-459 spoke, then summoned her M82A1 Barrett, pointed it upward, and fired.
Yuudachi, Shigure, and Yukikaze covered their animal ears.
"What was that?!" Yuudachi exclaimed.
One A6M Zero fell into the sea as it engulfed itself in fire. The big splash got their attention as the Zero slowly sank into the ocean. She reloaded as the whole magazine was empty.
At her excellency at the Shooting Range, Gunnery Sgt. Lucas gave her an M82A1 Barrett.
"Did she just shoot the Zero with that weapon without even missing a shot!" Yukikaze exclaimed.
"I-I think provoking her was... a bad idea," Shigure remarked, her voice stuttering in fear. Yuudachi and Yukikaze nodded in agreement.
"What are you doing? Help Ayanami," Haruna ordered as she saw the three.
"But, Ma'am, we can't," Yuudachi exclaimed as she pointed at the Bunny with a 'Big' gun.
"We couldn't; she's blocking our way, and she's holding a gun," Shigure added.
"It's just one Destroyer; you three can finish it off," Haruna remarked.
"But..."
Haruna cut off the three's complaints. "No buts!"
"I won't let you get near him," Laffey-459 spoke as she pointed her Barrett at Haruna. Haruna prepared her Katana as she sped up.
Haruna's thought: 'That big gun is only capable of one shot. If she manages to shoot one round, the recoil will ruin her balance and stance. Perfect now.... Let's see what you got?'
She then lunged forward, moving sideways to lessen her opponent's accuracy.
Laffey-459, remembering the lesson from Gunnery Sgt. Lucas about the M82A1 Barrett, pulled the trigger of her Barrett. The Barrett shot in full auto. This surprised Haruna; she hadn't expected it to be full auto. She was hit in her right rigging multiple times, rendering her right rigging unusable.
"Auck!!! What was that...? Full auto? It can't be."
Haruna crashed into the ocean as her right rigging exploded from the shots. Yukikaze, Yuudachi, and Shigure rushed towards her to give assistance; they helped her up.
"Haruna-Sempai!"
"Full auto? That can't be that big of a gun!" Haruna muttered in disbelief, gritting her teeth.
Then, a sudden realization hit her. 'Wait, is she the bunny that Hakuryuu mentioned? No, that can't be. Her Rigging is not that of the Modern Kansen.'
Musashi clasped both of her hands and chanted, summoning a Purple Lightning. The whole sky above the battlefield darkened as clouds gathered above Musashi. The dark cloud looked like a whirlpool as it circled above her.
"Oh, spirit of the great Samurai Miyamoto Musashi.... Grant me your power... and unleash your wrath upon my foes."
"I have a bad feeling about this," Arizona commented.
Pennsylvania noticed it too. "Seems like it. Be careful, Arizona; we don't want it to hit us." Arizona nodded.
After chanting, Musashi opened her eyes and released her Lightning Skill. "Violent Lightning Storm!"
Azur Lane Planes were hit by multiple purple lightning strikes. The whole skies were filled with exploding planes and purple lightning hitting Azur Lane planes.
"Whoa! What the fuck was that!?" Saratoga exclaimed while dodging the lightning strike, but a piece of her idol cloth was charred by the lightning strike.
"No! .... my Idol Outfit! No!"
"No! My planes!" Long Island cried out as she saw her squadron of Wildcats being struck by purple lightning.
The Sakuran Shipgirls cheered as the Azur Lane Planes were destroyed by simultaneous lightning strikes. The sight of burning and falling wrecks of Azur Lane Planes emboldened them and gave them an adrenaline rush.
U-Chan avoided the flurry of lightning strikes, maneuvering through the lightning storm like a goddamn floppy bird dodging pipes. Unicorn held tight to U-Chan's back as they both avoided the Purple lightnings.
F-35B Lightning II dodged and released countermeasures at the purple lightning strikes. F-35s are vulnerable to lightning strikes.
The plane named after lightning is vulnerable to lightning strikes, but thank god for Lockheed Martin, another Billion-Dollar Money was allocated to fix this Billion-Dollar problem.
The Billion-Dollar Money for the American Education System was being allocated to the Military Industrial Complex to fix the goddamn problem.
"Thank god to Lockheed for upgrading this baby," Essex-12 exclaimed. "Those planes will be Billion-Dollar fireworks in this goddamn world!"
She then radioed back at the Task Force. "Ma'am, we got a lightning freak over here!"
Musashi unsheathed her Odachi and swung it. A concentrated lightning strike comparable to a laser beam dashed towards the formation of the Battleship Line.
The Shipgirls noticed Musashi's Lightning attack, and they all moved away from her lightning attack. Everyone in their Battle Line broke off to avoid getting hit at path of the concentrated lightning strike.
Wales radioed at the Battleship Formation. "Evade!"
The Battle Line of Battleships broke off as they heard the urgent orders coming from Wales. The concentrated lightning passed over them.
But Texas was hit because of her slow speed and slow maneuverability. She only received minor damage to her body, but her rigging was damaged beyond repair as the electronic and analog computers were all fried. She cursed. "Damn it! I was hit."
Pennsylvania and Arizona rushed toward her. The two sisters helped her get up. "This is Pennsylvania. Texas was hit; we request immediate repairs."
The two Sisters retreated to a safe zone that Enterprise-80 had designated, where William and Vestal were positioned to help the injured and damaged ships.
Lafayette and Ayanami were engaged in sword and gun fights as they both tried to hit each other. Lafayette's superior Radars and onboard Computers helped him avoid her attacks.
Ayanami used her experience in close-quarters combat and agility as a swordswoman to gain the upper hand against him.
The two were locked in a sword duel and gun duel with their main gun when they heard lightning coming their way. They broke off their sword duel as they avoided the lightning attack that came out of nowhere. The concentrated purple lightning passed through them, giving both of them time to rest for a bit.
Lafayette pondered as he breathed heavily. 'Thank god I accepted sword training and sparring with Maya. Without those... I'd be totally dead in a sword duel against her.'
Ayanami spoke in a tired voice. "That attack. It belongs to Lady Musashi."
Lafayette looked at her and asked about it. "That was from Lady Musashi?"
"Hai," Ayanami replied, breathing heavily.
"I see..." Lafayette said as he stared at her.
USS Enterprise CVN-80
"That's quite amazing and dangerous," Enterprise-80 commented as she watched the live feed of the ongoing battle. Her gaze shifted from the monitor screen to Langley.
Langley knew what her gaze meant. She fixed her glasses and spoke. "That is her special skill called 'Violent Lightning Storm,' her ability to summon Purple Lightning to destroy multiple targets. The only one capable of matching her capabilities are the Iowa's Skill."
Queen Elizabeth chimed in. "Like New Jersey? She's the only one who had a one-time skirmish against Musashi."
"Yes. But the result of the battle between them was a draw. New Jersey was slightly injured in that little skirmish," Warspite added.
"So, the reason why she's the Fleet Flagship is because she's a strong leader and had a warrior spirit," Enterprise-80 praised her resolve.
"How are we going to handle her then?" Queen Elizabeth asked, expecting another stupid nickname and acronym.
"I have no choice but to use my strongest weapon to fight her.... but I'm afraid I might get too carried away and accidentally kill her. So I will fight her with caution in mind."
Enterprise-80 planned on using a HALO Hypersonic Missile to disable her fighting capability. The Hypersonic Missile was enough to cut through the Yamato's Armor. But the chance of accidentally killing her left her with the option of putting-off the hypersonic option alongside the nuclear option.
"So your other hand is tied behind your back?" Warspite asked.
"Adm. Nimitz ordered us not to let any Sakura Empire Shipgirls be sunk or killed. Washington D.C and Azur Lane want the Shipgirls only to bolster the Azur Lane Force to counter the Siren threats," Enterprise-80 said.
Orochi
"Nee-sama, are you sure we will never get detected by Modern Kansen?" Kaga asked, somewhat doubting their plan.
"Hai~ Kaga-chan, Orochi will provide us with protection and hide us from their detection," Akagi said with reassurance in her voice, glaring at the horizon with glee.
"..... Hai...."
Shinano was sleeping on the deck, using her Nine Tails as a pillow, sleeping peacefully. She was not meant to be there, but Musashi felt Orochi being the Primary target of the Alliance. She thought the security of Orochi was not sufficient enough, so she was only there as life insurance.
"Why are we here? We should be there fighting Azur Lane!" Roon complained, wanting to fight the Modern Kansens so badly that she became more annoying than a goddamn threat.
"Could you please be quiet!" Graf Zeppelin spoke, annoyed by Roon's nonstop whining ever since they left the port.
The atmosphere between them was getting tense again, as they were always at each other's throats. Without Friedrich der Große there, the two were always not getting along.
"Could you please stop these two from starting a fight?" Z-23 pleaded with Eugen to stop the two from fighting.
Eugen only chuckled at them. Odin just didn't pay attention to the two psychotic women. Z-1 was just cheering the two to fight.
"Just let them be; they just wanted to distract themselves from total boredom," Eugen said.
Orochi was surrounded by multiple Siren Ships; the number dwarfed the number of warships that participated in RIMPAC. Orochi was in the middle of the Siren Fleet as it moved toward the direction of the Task Force.
Lucas had a dumbfounded face as he looked at the massive formation of Siren ships, dwarfing what the US Navy Strike Group could deploy on a massive scale. He then put his finger in his right earpiece and spoke.
"Ma'am, target is found."
