At dawn, Hunter woke up, freshened up, and left his room for Ian's.
A sly smile crept across his face as he thought about what he had planned for Ian today.
Humming happily to himself, he climbed the stairs, stopped on the third floor, and headed toward the west wing where Ian's chamber was.
"Good morning, Your Royal Highness!" The maids greeted him with a bow as he walked past them, and he responded with a nod.
When he reached Ian's door, he knocked and waited for Ian's response.
He waited for a moment before knocking again, feeling Ian must still be sleeping and hadn't heard.
"Open up! Or I will be forced to come in and drag you out of bed!" Hunter threatened as minutes passed without a response.
Hunter grew impatient with waiting and teleported into the room.
Inside was arranged neatly: the wall shelf was filled with books, and the table held a vase of black roses.
His gaze went straight to the bed, and he noticed it was tied up, with no sign of Ian.
