Jin Zixuan stepped forward quickly, hands raised mediating through the chaos, before a fight would erupt. "Enough. Both of you. This isn't the place..."
But Jin Zhenyu wasn't finished.
"You didn't raise her. You don't know what she is and what she is capable of." His voice dropped lower, colder, more frightening in its control. "But I saw it. I saw what's behind her eyes. And it's not sanity. It's not even human."
"That's enough!" Jin Chengyu roared, lunging forward.
The two men glared at each other like they might tear the house apart with their bare hands.
