"F*ck, don't you dare walk away!"

Bob—who had just climbed off the floor, clutching his clearly fractured right hand—charged furiously after George and Wanda.

George's background was obviously far from simple. Bob would normally never offend someone like that over a woman. But after being humiliated to this extent—his hand almost broken—how could he possibly swallow his anger?

Their classmates stood up, brushing food scraps off their clothes. Seeing Bob storming out, they followed—not to help, but to watch the show.

However, the moment they stepped out of the cafeteria doors, they froze.

Bob stood rooted to the spot, face pale with terror, staring upward.

The others followed his gaze—and were instantly struck dumb.

Hovering above the cafeteria were six armed helicopters, suspended menacingly in midair. The heavy machine guns mounted beneath them were trained directly at the entrance… at them.

It felt like a single trigger pull would turn them all into Swiss cheese.

George and Wanda were aboard one of the choppers, slowly ascending. From above, they looked down at the stunned students as though inspecting insects. Moments later, all six helicopters disappeared into the skies.

"Just who the hell is Wanda's boyfriend…?"

Inside the helicopter, Wanda looked curiously—and somewhat nervously—at George.

"You said you're my brother's friend?"

Her brother was always sneaking around doing shady things. Since when had he befriended someone with military-level air support?

Did he… steal some national secret? Did the military come after them?

"Yes, a friend," George replied casually.

With a wave of his hand, the six helicopters vanished like illusions. Wrapping one arm around Wanda, he teleported them straight to her doorstep.

"Don't worry," he said warmly. "We're the same kind of people. Those helicopters were just something I conjured with my ability."

"Same… kind of people?"

From hovering helicopters to instant teleportation, Wanda still hadn't fully processed what was happening.

As George rang the doorbell, he continued,

"Yes. Mutants. You've seen the news, right?

I'm a teacher at a mutant academy. Your brother is part of the academy's security team. This time, he—"

Only after hearing George's explanation did Wanda finally understand—her expression full of shock.

"Pietro… actually helped save the world?!"

To her, her brother Pietro was nothing but a troublemaker who liked stealing junk for fun.

Yet somehow, he had connections with these kinds of powerful people—and had even participated in yesterday's world-saving incident in Cairo, Egypt!

"Good afternoon, my dear sister!"

Before the doorbell could even echo, Quicksilver had already zipped to the door, flinging it open and greeting Wanda with his usual grin.

And so, the Maximoff family held a heated household conference.

Though the discussion got intense, Pietro and Wanda's mother eventually agreed to let the siblings join the Mutant Empire—to live and work alongside their biological father, Magneto.

Partly because Magneto was their father, and the kids were grown. She couldn't keep them away from him forever.

But more importantly—as mutants, Pietro and Wanda simply had no real future in normal human society.

Pietro spent every day hiding in the basement, gaming and occasionally sneaking out to steal things. After so many years, he had become a certified basement dweller—unable to even get a girlfriend.

Wanda, though working as an elementary school teacher, struggled with her unstable powers and her fragile emotional state. She didn't dare pursue relationships. Most days, she endured silently for her family's sake.

Joining the Mutant Empire meant being among their own kind, able to live freely—and finally find purpose.

And besides, it wasn't like they'd never see their family again.

"Let's go."

Once Pietro and Wanda had packed and said their farewells to their mother and little sister, George placed a hand on each of their shoulders and teleported them straight back to the mutant academy.

A month later, on a remote island in the Atlantic Ocean, the Mutant Empire was formally established.

Professor X used the Cerebro amplifier to announce the empire's existence to the entire world, inviting all mutants to join them.

Simultaneously, he sent a chilling demonstration to world governments—showing the ability to force every global leader into sleep for one hour, or even alter the Earth's magnetic field in a second.

It was a clear message:

The Mutant Empire possessed destructive power far beyond nuclear weapons.

Of course, such a transition came with countless negotiations, political struggles, and hidden schemes.

But those were left to Professor X and Magneto.

George, meanwhile, simply resumed his role at the imperial school—serving as a spiritual counselor, helping students control their powers and manage their emotions.

And most importantly…

Slowly devouring the Phoenix Force and the Chaos Force.

Two months later. Early morning.

George pulled open the curtains. Sunlight spilled across the large bed.

A pair of fair, jade-like arms lazily stretched out from beneath the blanket.

They found George's wrist, tugging him forcefully back onto the bed.

"It's the weekend… no classes today… sleep a little more…"

Her voice was muffled, husky with exhaustion. After last night's activities lasted past midnight, she was weak all over—and had no intention of moving.

"You said it!"

George grinned and slipped back under the blanket. With practiced ease, his hands made their move.

Wanda's hands shot out, clutching the sheets tightly, doing her best to suppress her voice—lest the neighbors hear.

"I meant actual sleeping, not… not that—"

But after two months together, her fondness for George had skyrocketed, thanks to his initial kindness—and his telepathic empathy.

One night during a school dance, after a bit of alcohol…

Well, things happened.

And that was when George made an important discovery:

When Wanda's emotions were intensely heightened, the difficulty of devouring the Chaos Force decreased dramatically.

Not just any excitement—but the kind born from the most primal kind of exercise, when both body and soul reached euphoric resonance.

The longer she stayed in that state, the easier it became to absorb Chaos Energy.

So…

Whenever possible, George dragged Wanda into experiments.

They had tried nearly every conceivable method.

Some of which… required magical assistance.

Thanks to this, he had already devoured far more Chaos Force than Phoenix Force.

He had even considered applying the same strategy to Jean Grey.

But as a teacher, seducing a student—even one like Jean—felt… morally questionable.

Besides, he was already focused on Wanda. Handling two at once—even for someone with his stamina—would be troublesome.

Physically, it was no issue. With a body stronger than a dragon's, he could go seven days or even seven years without rest.

The real problem was spiritual digestion. Absorbing two overwhelming forces at the same time would take too long to fully convert.

And truthfully, he had no real feelings for Jean.

Wanda, on the other hand… he genuinely enjoyed being with her—even aside from the Chaos Force.
