When Fu Rongyin and Fu Mianmian arrived home, they were on the sofa looking at a picture book, laughing joyously at something he had said.
Chi Yue walked over, and Fu Mianmian saw her and slid off Fu Rongyin to run in front of Chi Yue, "Mommy, you've finally come back!"
Chi Yue picked her up and walked over, "What are you playing?"
"Daddy is teaching me to read, Mommy. Daddy explains it even better than our teacher. Can we just have Daddy teach me instead of going to school?"
Chi Yue couldn't help but smile, "That's something you'll have to ask your Daddy."
Fu Mianmian climbed on Fu Rongyin like a little sycophant, "Daddy, is that okay?"
Fu Rongyin spoke seriously, "That won't work. You should go to school, but I can make time to teach you on the weekends."
Fu Mianmian wasn't dissuaded and reached out her hand to make a pinky promise, "Daddy, you can't lie to me. Mommy is my witness."
